  • dojo if i have only the value of the Column Portlet, Can i place to GridContainer?

    i faced with problem situation. I don't know even how to solve the problem. So i would like to get advice. i saved value of Column Portlet and value of nbZones GridContainer in MongoDB.   • passing json from servlet to dojo

    I am currently trying to pass a generated JSON string to dojo for parsing and am having some issues. The servlet simply writes it as a string as so: response.getWriter().append("{ \"data\": {"); response.getWriter().append("\"type\": \"facing\","); response.getWriter().append("\"score\": " + "\"" + score + "\","); response.getWriter().append("\"count\":" + "\"" + count + "\"" ); response.getWriter().append("}}"); which prints as: {"data":{"type":"facing","score":"10","count":"24"}} And the parsing on the dojo end looks as so: dojo.xhrPost({ url: url, handleAs: "json", load: function(data) { alert(data); /* Parse Not working */ alert(data.data[0].type); }, error: function(error) { alert("No dice") } }); The main issue is the data.data[0].type is returning nothing but when i print this out as text the json seems to be correctly formatted. Any help with this would be appreciated.

    I'd like to hava a Dojo dojox.grid.DataGrid with its data from a servlet. Problem: The data returned from the servlet does not get displayed, just the message "Sorry, an error has occured".   • dijit/form/Select broken in Internet Explorer using Esri Javascript 3.7

    After developing a web map app in Firefox, I tested my code in Internet Explorer (company standard) to discover that the dijit/form/Select is misbehaving using the latest Esri JavaScript v3.7. The issue I am seeing is that the Select will not update/change from the first option in the list when using v3.7. If I bump the version down to 3.6, it works as expected. I've tried IE browser modes from 7 to 10 and am experiencing the same behavior between all of them. Can someone confirm they are experiencing the same thing?     I have googled and found out Updates don't install because of "untrusted packages". It didn't fixed the error. So, how do I fix my GUI update? Working but when I update from GUI or try to install software from Ubuntu Software Center I got same error as shown in above picture.   • Indicator menu require long press to open

    I am using 11.10 on my laptop and have a following issue: If I single click on items in notification area (or indicators), like messaging menu, sound menu, calendar, a menu appears and disappears as soon as mouse button is released. I need to do a long press then move pointer to menu area to be able to select items in it. Any clues to fix it? P.S. This is a fresh install but my home folder (thus settings) were restored from previous Ubuntu installation.

    Since this statement is so common: while (true) (Java) or while (1) (C) or sometimes for (;;) Why is there not a single instruction for this? I could think that an instruction that could do it is just do but do requires a while at the end of the block but it would be more logical to write an infinite loop like this do { //loop forever } Why not? AFAIK the instruction do always requires a while at the end but if we could use it like above then it would be a clear way to define something like while (true) which I think should not be written like that (or for (;;)).

    I have a website that basically shows a lot of locations worldwide on a Google Maps like interface. The map itself is built using the Leaflet library and Open Street Map tiles. In the map, I show markers at each location I have. There is a popup window when I click on a marker that shows additional information and contains links to "detail" pages for this location. I fetch the location data for the viewpoint from an AJAX call from my server, so the additional information is not available in the HTML page itself. The detail pages are the pages my users are interested in. My normal users load the map, search the location they are interested in, click on a marker and click on a link in the popup window. However for search engines, this might look different. As this navigation pattern relies on user interaction, I think they might not be able to find the details page. My questions: Are search engines able to follow a navigation path like outlined above? How can I improve the navigation for search engines? (For example showing textual links below the map, sitemaps...) How important are internal links for SEO?

If so, is it then wise/part of Agile to then have only one staging environment before Live? Considering that this could mean internationally distributed teams of developers and testers in different time zones is this wise? This is something being implemented by our QA manager. The opinion put forward is that doing all the dev and testing on a single server is "Agile." The staging environment would be a second environment, and then live.

  • Software architecture for two similar classes which require different input parameters for the same method

    I am writing code to simulate a supply chain. The supply chain can be simulated in either an intermediate stocking or a cross-docking configuration. So, I wrote two simulator objects IstockSimulator and XdockSimulator. Since the two objects share certain behaviors (e.g. making shipments, demand arriving), I wrote an abstract simulator object AbstractSimulator which is a parent class of the two simulator objects. The abstract simulator object has a method runSimulation() which takes an input parameter of class SimulationParameters. Up till now, the simulation parameters only contains fields that are common to both simulator objects, such as randomSeed, simulationStartPeriod and simulationEndPeriod. However, I now want to include fields that are specific to the type of simulation that is being run, i.e. an IstockSimulationParameters class for an intermediate stocking simulation, and a XdockSimulationParameters class for a cross-docking simulation. My current idea is take the method runSimulation() out of the AbstractSimulator class, but to put a runSimulation(IstockSimulationParameters) method in the IstockSimulator class, and a runSimulation(XdockSimulationParameters) method in the IstockSimulator class. I am worried however, that this approach will lead to code duplication. What should I do?

  • Run programs that require a window manager, on the CLI

    Is there any way I can run a game server (MW3) under wine without requiring a window manager present? Currently to run windows only game servers on my Ubuntu box, I have to start them using RDP access as this creates a X session which the program (which has its own GUI). This is a pain as it cannot be automated (or can it?) on start up. What I would rather is some sort of X session emulator that pulls the console output of the program into the CLI so that I can automate server start ups. Is there any program or method that can do this?

  • Require TLS on RDP for all connections

    I have a 2008 DC and a 2008 AD CS server and a Windows 7 client. What I would like is to require the certificate to be used when RDPing to the server. The certificate is valid, and if I connect using the FQDN I am shown that i was authenticated by both the certificate and Kerberos as expected. When I connect with just the hostname I am allowed to connect and am only authenticated by Kerberos, even though I have Require TLS 1.0 set on the server that I am RDPing to. I fully understand that the certificate will not be valid unless the server is accessed by FQDN, what I want to do is disallow connections that do not use the certificate AND Kerberos. I thought that setting Require TLS 1.0 would do it. What am I missing?
