  • Custom MembershipProvider attempts to pass empty creds after IIS restart

    - by Joseph DeCarlo
I have a C# custom ASP.Net MembershipProvider. When the user attempts to navigate to another part of the site after IIS is restarted, it doesn't navigate to the login page to collect credentials, but instead attempts to authenticate with empty credentials. Can anyone tell me what I have to do to identify that the new authentication needs to take place and that new creds need to be gathered? I have a complementary custom IHttpModule implementation that allows me to intercept events like BeginRequest and AuthenticateRequest, if that helps.

  • asp.net not deserializing soap response

    - by Tanya
Hi all, I have been given a wsdl and have used wsdl.exe to create my proxy classes. I am able to call the function to initiate the request with some valid parameters and this returns my response object which is always EMPTY. When i inspect the soap message response using fiddler the soap does have valid data that should be deserialzed to the proxy classes. Can i manually intercept the derserializing call of the proxy classes generated by wsdl and check that .net is correctly derializing the soap response? Thank you

  • Use cellular emulator with a REAL WinMo device?

    - by Ranhiru
I don't whether this is even possible which is obviously why I am asking this question :) Is it in any way possible to leverage functionality the Cellular Emulator on a REAL PHYSICAL device?? :) So when I test it on my device, I really do not have to send real SMS(s) to test my MessageInteceptor. On a sidenote, why does MessageInteceptor fails after several messages to intercept messages?? :( Thanx a lot in advance :)

  • R glm standard error estimate differences to SAS PROC GENMOD

    - by Michelle
    I am converting a SAS PROC GENMOD example into R, using glm in R. The SAS code was: proc genmod data=data0 namelen=30; model boxcoxy=boxcoxxy ~ AGEGRP4 + AGEGRP5 + AGEGRP6 + AGEGRP7 + AGEGRP8 + RACE1 + RACE3 + WEEKEND + SEQ/dist=normal; FREQ REPLICATE_VAR; run; My R code is: parmsg2 <- glm(boxcoxxy ~ AGEGRP4 + AGEGRP5 + AGEGRP6 + AGEGRP7 + AGEGRP8 + RACE1 + RACE3 + WEEKEND + SEQ , data=data0, family=gaussian, weights = REPLICATE_VAR) When I use summary(parmsg2) I get the same coefficient estimates as in SAS, but my standard errors are wildly different. The summary output from SAS is: Name df Estimate StdErr LowerWaldCL UpperWaldCL ChiSq ProbChiSq Intercept 1 6.5007436 .00078884 6.4991975 6.5022897 67911982 0 agegrp4 1 .64607262 .00105425 .64400633 .64813891 375556.79 0 agegrp5 1 .4191395 .00089722 .41738099 .42089802 218233.76 0 agegrp6 1 -.22518765 .00083118 -.22681672 -.22355857 73401.113 0 agegrp7 1 -1.7445189 .00087569 -1.7462352 -1.7428026 3968762.2 0 agegrp8 1 -2.2908855 .00109766 -2.2930369 -2.2887342 4355849.4 0 race1 1 -.13454883 .00080672 -.13612997 -.13296769 27817.29 0 race3 1 -.20607036 .00070966 -.20746127 -.20467944 84319.131 0 weekend 1 .0327884 .00044731 .0319117 .03366511 5373.1931 0 seq2 1 -.47509583 .00047337 -.47602363 -.47416804 1007291.3 0 Scale 1 2.9328613 .00015586 2.9325559 2.9331668 -127 The summary output from R is: Coefficients: Estimate Std. Error t value Pr(>|t|) (Intercept) 6.50074 0.10354 62.785 < 2e-16 AGEGRP4 0.64607 0.13838 4.669 3.07e-06 AGEGRP5 0.41914 0.11776 3.559 0.000374 AGEGRP6 -0.22519 0.10910 -2.064 0.039031 AGEGRP7 -1.74452 0.11494 -15.178 < 2e-16 AGEGRP8 -2.29089 0.14407 -15.901 < 2e-16 RACE1 -0.13455 0.10589 -1.271 0.203865 RACE3 -0.20607 0.09315 -2.212 0.026967 WEEKEND 0.03279 0.05871 0.558 0.576535 SEQ -0.47510 0.06213 -7.646 2.25e-14 The importance of the difference in the standard errors is that the SAS coefficients are all statistically significant, but the RACE1 and WEEKEND coefficients in the R output are not. I have found a formula to calculate the Wald confidence intervals in R, but this is pointless given the difference in the standard errors, as I will not get the same results. Apparently SAS uses a ridge-stabilized Newton-Raphson algorithm for its estimates, which are ML. The information I read about the glm function in R is that the results should be equivalent to ML. What can I do to change my estimation procedure in R so that I get the equivalent coefficents and standard error estimates that were produced in SAS? To update, thanks to Spacedman's answer, I used weights because the data are from individuals in a dietary survey, and REPLICATE_VAR is a balanced repeated replication weight, that is an integer (and quite large, in the order of 1000s or 10000s). The website that describes the weight is here. I don't know why the FREQ rather than the WEIGHT command was used in SAS. I will now test by expanding the number of observations using REPLICATE_VAR and rerunning the analysis.

  • Modifying Export to Excel in ReportViewer

    - by firedrawndagger
I have a formatted table in ReportViewer. When I want to export to Excel though - I do not want to export the formatted table - instead I want to output the original/raw/unmassaged data table in an excel file. What's the best way to intercept the Export to Excel function and output data in a different format?

  • Android: how to detect a private number programmatically

    - by Bao Le
I use BroadcastReceiver to intercept incoming call on Android phone as below tm = (TelephonyManager) context.getSystemService(Context.TELEPHONY_SERVICE); Bundle bundle = intent.getExtras(); String number = bundle.getString(TelephonyManager.EXTRA_INCOMING_NUMBER); In the "private number" case, I tested on two devices, it shows the number as -1 on HTC Wildfire and -2 on Galaxy S. I checked the android.telephony.PhoneNumberUtils but it could't help me. Is there a function or a generic way to detect a private number on Android phone? Thanks

  • Is it possible to detect the load of an applet?

    - by zneak
Hello guys, I'm working on a Safari extension, and I'd like to detect when <applet>s load on a page. However, there seems to be no onload event for these. How should I do it? Transform all <applet> tags to <object> tags and then intercept their onload events? Is there a better way?

  • Catch all DOM events on a page (without Firebug et. al.)

    - by Morten Bergfall
How would I go about creating a cross-browser script, that would intercept all events firing on a page/browser window/DOM-tree (regardless of browser)? What I'm hoping to accomplish is basically to get a better understanding of the different handling of events in different browsers; I know the basic theory, but need to see to believe...

  • Java: Is there a way to obtain the bytecode for a class at runtime?

    - by Adam Paynter
In Java, is there a way (at runtime) to obtain the bytecode which defined a particular class? Put another way, is there a way to obtain the byte[] array passed to ClassLoader.defineClass(String name, byte[] b, int off, int len) when a particular class was loaded? I see that this method is declared final, so creating a custom ClassLoader to intercept class definitions seems out of the question. In the past, I have used the class's ClassLoader to obtain the bytecode via the getResourceAsStream(String) method, but I would prefer a more canonical solution.

  • Using jquery to prevent resubmitting form

    - by Tony
I use jquery's .submit() to intercept user's submit event, however I found a problem. When the user single click the submit button, the form is submitted normally, but if a user deliberately fast click it multiple times, it will submit multiple times, which will cause duplicated data in the database. What's the solution for this kind of problem ?

  • Resizing qt widgets when their children are hidden

    - by laura
I have the situation in the following image: How would I go about resizing the widget when the retry child is hidden so that it looks as in the first image? The main layout is a QVBoxLayout, the retry child is a widget with a QVBoxLayout as well. I've tried the following: update() updateGeometry() setGeometry(childrenRect()) layout()-activate() on the main widget as soon as I've set the retry widget to hidden. Do I need to intercept some event to do this?

  • ASP.NET ObjectDataSource Sorting Twice

    - by user204588
Hello, I'm working with some existing code uses an objectDataSource and that calls a sort method inside a DLL that I don't have access to. I'm trying to add a custom field to sort and I basically want to re-sort after the initial sort. I don't know if this can be done but before the GridView is displayed, I need to intercept the code and sort the way I want to sort. Any ideas? I'm lost.

  • Listen to all Perforce commands made by my client machine to server

    - by Ed
Hi, Is it possible to somehow listen to all perforce cammands issued from my machine to the perforce server? I did some googling yesterday and found a page somewhere about a perforce proxy or broker that would intercept perforce commands and allow you to do what you wanted with them before sending them to the server...and now can't find the page! I am trying to debug our build process (built using Maven) that is failing while running the maven-release-plugin (prepare). Cheers.

  • Reading barcodes from Java

    - by santiagobasulto
Hello everyone. I'm dealing with a barcode reader in my java app. The problem is that the barcode, before and after reading and sending the actual barcode, sends a return code. I've some JTextFields and when the reader reads the barcode it change the focus, and then sends another return that makes the window to close. Is it anyway to "intercept" those "return" commands ?
