  • Visual Basic 2010: How to make window/form become active foreground?

    I'm using Visual Basic 2010 Express. I have a form that can be minimized. There's also a tray icon. I've coded it so that if you double-click on the tray icon, the form's FormWindowState becomes set to Normal; this restores the form to where it to where it was before it became minimized, but the form does not become the active window on my desktop. How can I make the form become the active most foreground window? I've tried various functions that I can think of but no luck yet. Tried searching with various queries to try and find the right wording but no luck. I'm new to Visual Basic - only started a couple hours ago. Probably something simple but I can't seem to find the correct function or anything... Please enlighten me! Thanks.

    Hi guys. I am using rails 3 and at the moment i am writing tests for my application. I get this weird deprecation warning: DEPRECATION WARNING: You are using the old router DSL which will be removed in Rails 3.1. Please check how to update your routes file at: http://www.engineyard.com/blog/2010/the-lowdown-on-routes-in-rails-3/. (called from at /Users/jeljer/Dropbox/webCMS/config/environment.rb:6) Of course my routes file is this: WebCMS::Application.routes.draw do #... end but no luck. If I look at the place what it is pointing to in my enviroment.rb: WebCMS::Application.initialize! I did a gem cleanup without any luck. Does anybody have an idea? ps. i am using rvm with ruby 1.9.2

    Hello, I have developed a competition page for a client, and they wish for the email the customer receives be more than simply text. The tutorial I used only provided simple text, within the 'send body message'. I am required to add html to thank the customer for entering, with introducing images to this email. QTY is a derived column | Position | QTY -------------------- 1 Clerk 2 2 Mgr 2 Here's what I'm not having luck with: SELECT Position, Count(position) AS 'QTY' FROM tblemployee Where ('QTY' != 1) GROUP BY Position I know that my Position is set up as varchar(255) Count produces a integer data and my where clasue is accurate so that leads me to believe that that Count() is jamming me up. Please throw up an example so I can reference later. Thanks for the help!

  • Are multiline tooltips possible using CWnd::EnableTooltips()?

    I'm attempting to make my tooltips multiline, but I don't seem to be having much luck with it. I call CWnd::EnableTooltips() directly after creation (in this case, an edit box) and I handle the TTN_NEEDTEXT message. My tooltips display correctly, but only display as a single line. I've tried adding '\n' to the string I pass when handling TTN_NEEDTEXT, and also tried '\r\n'. No luck. It just displays them as normal text in the tooltip string. I then tried manually inserting 0x0D0A, but this just displays as boxes. I've been digging a bit, and have found a few offhand references on the web saying that multiline behavior may not work when using tooltips through the CWnd functions. I'd prefer not to have to replace with CToolTipCtrl (since it's a rather large project). Has anyone ran into this before? If so, is there any way around it?

  • Adding a new view to a Window-based app (re: MapKit tutorial)

    I'm trying add a new view in a window-based application but not really getting anywhere. I've been going through a great MapKit tutorial lately, http://mithin.in/2009/06/22/using-iphone-sdk-mapkit-framework-a-tutorial/ and have successfully set it up and added some further buttons and customizations. However I've gotten stuck at what I assume ought to be a brain-dead simple step. I have added a toolbar to the bottom of the app, and a 'settings' style button. Following this I created a SettingsViewController complete with it's own view. Now I'd like to connect them but I've had absolutely no luck trying to figure out how to do this. I've also gone through several other good tutorials lately, http://miketeo.net/wp/index.php/2008/08/31/simple-iphone-tutorial-part-1.html http://blog.webscale.co.in/?p=228 http://www.iphonesdkarticles.com/2009/01/uitableview-searching-table-view.html but I've gotten lost trying to tie these two bits together. I'm sure it is quite trivial to link these two items but I've had no luck.

  • Presta Shop Switching Domain Issue

    I have a website made on Presta Shop CMS. I had it on my trial server. The installation and everything. It works and runs fine. I then copied (using FTP) every file from my trial server to the main domain. I did not install it on the main domain (bought from network solutions), but copied everything there. The issue is when i hit the main domain, it somewhat redirects me back to the trial server. I have checked and changed many of the default values. and many values in the database. But still havent had luck. Also made changes in the .htaccess file, still without any luck. I do not want to go through the installation process again on my main domain. You can check the site (main domain :- www.myworld-myhome.com, it will redirect you to hrm.com/esol/ )

    Hello All, First of all I am very thankful to the owner of this website. I have learned and implement various technologies with the help of solutions provided by the readers. I know the question I asked is posted many time in this forum. And I have tired all of the solutions available, but no luck I may case I am trying to read a dat file which is basically a msg/feed file having more than 22000 Characters. Every line may or may not be of same length. My requirement is to convert the file to fixed line length character file. I have a logic that work well using vb script, however its pretty slow. I have checked with For f/ but no luck. The only delimiter I have is EOT, which i can see in Textpad but not in notepad. I have tried with \n, token=. Please help me in resolving the issue.   • Android/Java Javadoc missing after updating Android SDK

    After i recently installed the new Android SDK stuff, I no longer can view the Javadoc while editing my project's code. I get this message: Note: This element has no attached source and the Javadoc could not be found in the attached Javadoc. I am getting this message for all methods, variables, classes, etc. I have installed the documentation and everything available to me via the android update manager. I have also tried to do a clean install of the android sdk and eclipse, and no luck getting the javadoc working. I have also tried manually setting the javadoc via project properties -> javadoc location -> file:/C:/Program Files/Android/android-sdk-windows/docs/reference/ with no luck What suggestions do you have that could fix this problem?

  • How can I convert spaces to tabs in Vim or Linux?

    I've looked over several questions on Stack Overflow for how to convert spaces to tabs without finding what I need. There seem to be more questions about how to convert tabs to spaces, but I'm trying to do the opposite. In Vim I've tried :retab and :retab! without luck, but I believe those are actually for going from tabs to spaces anyways. I tried both expand and unexpand at the command prompt without any luck.   • R.java doesn't exist...but it does! Problem started after installing ADT 10.0.0

    I get this error when I try to clean a project: ERROR: Unable to open class file ....R.java: No such file or directory So I can't build my projects any more. But R.java is there in the gen folder and looks fine when I open it. This happens to every one of my projects. I tried completely deleting the Eclipse folder and reinstalling it (Helios on Windows) and Android ADT. No luck. I have also tried moving my workspace to a different drive. No luck. I made sure all folders in my workspace are not read only. This worked the first time, but immediately the error came back when I cleaned my project. This all started right after installing ADT 10.0. I am wondering if it somehow is building R.java as a read-only file. EDIT: Is deleting the eclipse directory sufficient to reset all of its configuration?

  • Getting all matches for a regexp on clojure

    I'm trying to parse an HTML file and get all href's inside it. So far, the code I'm using is: (map #(println (str "Match: " %)) (re-find #"(?sm)href=\"([a-zA-Z.:/]+)\"" str_response)) str_response being the string with the HTML code inside it. According to my basic understanding of Clojure, that code should print a list of matches, but so far, no luck. It doens't crash, but it doens't match anything either. I've tried using re-seq instead of re-find, but with no luck. Any help? Thanks!

Removable drives (like DVDs and flash readers) now seem to take lower precedence than permanent storage so it is a bit of an oddity that floppy disks should have higher letters.

The problem is, that some cell get their content included on quotation marks: 1,1,"I don't want quote",Mee too but I'm lucky,1 To avoid this issue, I usually re-edit the field on google document until the export excludes the quotation marks (I don't know why or when they are included). I've tried with format but apparently it doesn't help. What should I do?

I've been installed 10.04, and updated, but this strange stuff is happend. Graphical installion failed, same strange thing. With alternate workd. Sometimes, when I boot up, a boot message displayed: Keyboard failure..., often diplayed after reboot, and after shutdown, when I haven't plugged off from AC. I replaced the keyboard yet, same failure... If I powered off, and plugged off from AC, no keyboard problems displayed in boot time. Details Configuration: Dell OptiPlex GX60 - in original cover, no changes. 256 MB DDR 166 MHz Intel® Celeron® Processor 2.40 GHz Dell 0C3207 Base Board I know, that is not enough, but I have three other Nec compuers, with nearly similar config, and they works well with 9.10, 10.04, 10.10. Live CDs I've been tried with 10.04 and 10.10, but the problem is displayed too. With 9.10 no strange things displayed, but it froze, during a simple apt-get install.
