Hi there,
I open a .doc file in Word 2007 (sorry I am unable to supply the .doc) which pops up with a message above the document "Security warning: Macros have been disabled" but there are no macros shown in the macros listing and no functionality displayed in the VBScript editor.
Why does Word think this document contains macros and how can I remove them to prevent the warning?
Thanks,
Tom
I need to convert Microsoft Office Word .doc files into the new format .docx of Office 2007.
I need it to be done via the command line since it's an application where people upload .doc files and i want them automatically to be converted to .docx.
I can live with a link to a downloadable .exe file if yo can provide, a C++ code will be even better.
10x.
When I have multiple selections in a Word 2007 document, such as after selecting all instances of a style, how can I move from one selection to the next? When you issue the select all instances command, the view snaps to the next instance of the style, but how can I find the other instances? Any cursor key will unselect everything. Using the mouse to scroll through the document is not feasible for large documents, plus the selection could be a single character -- very easy to miss!
I have an html email (email.html) formatted and ready to go. How can I paste the html code (Using Outlook 2007) into a new message and keep the html formatting?
Why do I get the error: "General Failure. The application cannot be found.", whenever I click on a link in a message in Outlook 2007?
Actually, it is not I who have the problem, but my colleague. Thanks.
I want to create a following macro in PowerPoint 2007:
Add specific animation to selected object, pressing hotkey.
I already enabled Developer page, but I can't find how to record my actions and assign hot key.
Anyone knows where one could find a Latex reference sheet for usage in Word 2007? I'm interested in some which mostly deals with writing math. Formulas, text formatting and page layout are of lesser importance.
My Word 2007 spell-check seems to work fine, except that when I paste in text from somewhere else, it won't detect any misspellings in that pasted text...no matter what I try.
If it makes any difference, when I paste in text, the formatting is preserved (size color etc). I've tried doing a past-special and trying the different options there, but it's still bringing the formatting over.
Any ideas on what to try?

I understand that the Windows 7 jump list for Outlook 2007 should look something like the one on the left, whereas mine, on the right contains only the three basic items and an ICS file I imported recently. I would like to have access to the commands for creating new items from my jump list. Can anyone explain why I don't get the other commands and what I might be able to do to enable them?
When inserting a text box using the developer tab in Word 2007, by default the inserted text box says "Click here to enter text".
How can I change this to something different?
Thanks.
Hi all
In Word 2007 I have a Page which had to be changed to vertical mode. Now when I look at the page it's vertical but the header/footer are still horizontal is there a way to change them to the existing alignment?
How do I change the font used by numbers, or numerics, in a Word 2007 document?
For the rest of the document, they would be using another font for the letters and such, but I would like the numbers to be in a different font altogether.
If this is possible, how do I set it?
Using Microsoft Word 2007, is it possible to replace the newline character (\n) with some other character?
What about vice versa? (That is replace a character with the newline character).
Outlook 2007 is slow to load messages...Why is this, and what can I do to speed it up?
Currently have about 850 messages in the Inbox folder, and the preview pane turned off, thus I view messages by double-clicking. This is where it gets slow, when I double click, it brings up a new window with everything but the actual message loaded, which then takes several more seconds to appear.
Solutions?
Thanks!
(running Windows 7)

Just wanna ask if there is a setting in MS Access 2007 to ignore all error messages, when i ran my application in MS Access 07 there are annoying messages that pop-ups. All I want is to ignore all those message without changing my code.. Thanks
In previous versions of Outlook it was possbile to write some VBA and assign a shortcut to do this. I can't see how to do this in 2007, if indeed it is possbile.
Note - the following thread is relevant but only for earlier versions

How do I prevent a style from changing the font color. I have "Automatic" selected as the font color (and the "Default" button under "Font" is disabled by the way), but whenever I apply the style, the font color changes to black.
Using Word 2007
I have added some advanced properties into my Microsoft Word 2007 document. These were created by doing the following:
Click the Office button - Prepare - Properties. Under the Document Properties drop-down menu, select Advanced Properties. In the Custom tab, add properties as needed.
My question is how do you insert these custom properties into the Word document so that they are in text form and gets updated when you update the properties in that one spot?
Thank you!
When doing an alignment in Powerpoint 2007 (say, Align Center), is there any way to select which object will be aligned to? It seems to pick one of the objects, but I'm not sure how it decides which one to pick and how to change it. Order of selection and front/back ordering seems to have no effect.
Anyone have any ideas?
There is a permanent yellow bar under the toolbar in Outlook 2007 saying "Click here to enable instant search".
When I click on it, the following message appears:
I click No, and the annoying yellow bar is still there. How can I get rid of it? I don't want to install Instant Search feature.
