  • Is there a true all-in-one solution for PHP Development?

    - by Alex R
I'm looking for a "SINGLE INSTALLER" solution for PHP Development. Is there anything out there which will give me a nice IDE, Web Server, Debugger, Database, etc, on a single install image (*.msi or *.exe)? This of course would be completely opposite of Eclipse PDT, which requires you to search and locate a bunch of additional components which never quite work together.

  • How do I set up PHP profiling on Eclipse?

    - by kalengi
I have set up Eclipse PDT on Galileo. I'm able to run and debug PHP sites that are set up on XAMPP. The thing is, I want to profile one of the sites, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to set this up. There is a profiling menu when I right-click the PHP project, but no indication of how to proceed from there. BTW I'm using Xdebug as the debug engine.

  • Postfix on Snow Leopard unable to send MIME emails, including header contents in message body

    - by devvy
    I configured postfix on snow leopard by adding the following line to /etc/hostconfig: MAILSERVER=-YES- I then configured postfix to relay through my ISP's SMTP server. I added the following two lines in their respective places within /etc/postfix/main.cf: myhostname = 1and1.com relayhost = shawmail.vc.shawcable.net I then have a simple PHP mail function wrapper as follows: send_email("[email protected]", "[email protected]", "Test Email", "<p>This is a simple HTML email</p>"); echo "Done"; function send_email($from,$to,$subject,$message){ $header="From: <".$from."> "; $header.= 'MIME-Version: 1.0' . " "; $header.= 'Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1' . " "; $send_mail=mail($to,$subject,$message,$header); if(!$send_mail){ echo "ERROR"; } } With this, I am receiving an e-mail that appears to be improperly formatted. The message header is showing up in the body of the e-mail. The raw message content is as follows: Return-Path: <[email protected]> Delivery-Date: Tue, 27 Apr 2010 18:12:48 -0400 Received: from idcmail-mo2no.shaw.ca (idcmail-mo2no.shaw.ca [64.59.134.9]) by mx.perfora.net (node=mxus2) with ESMTP (Nemesis) id 0M4XlU-1NCtC81GVY-00z5UN for [email protected]; Tue, 27 Apr 2010 18:12:48 -0400 Message-Id: <[email protected]> Received: from pd6ml3no-ssvc.prod.shaw.ca ([10.0.153.149]) by pd6mo1no-svcs.prod.shaw.ca with ESMTP; 27 Apr 2010 16:12:47 -0600 X-Cloudmark-SP-Filtered: true X-Cloudmark-SP-Result: v=1.0 c=1 a=VphdPIyG4kEA:10 a=hATtCjKilyj9ZF5m5A62ag==:17 a=mC_jT1gcAAAA:8 a=QLyc3QejAAAA:8 a=DGW4GvdtALggLTu6w9AA:9 a=KbDtEDGyCi7QHcNhDYYwsF92SU8A:4 a=uch7kV7NfGgA:10 a=5ZEL1eDBWGAA:10 Received: from unknown (HELO 1and1.com) ([24.84.196.104]) by pd6ml3no-dmz.prod.shaw.ca with ESMTP; 27 Apr 2010 16:12:48 -0600 Received: by 1and1.com (Postfix, from userid 70) id BB08D14ECFC; Tue, 27 Apr 2010 15:12:47 -0700 (PDT) To: [email protected] Subject: Test Email X-PHP-Originating-Script: 501:test.php Date: Tue, 27 Apr 2010 18:12:48 -0400 X-UI-Junk: AutoMaybeJunk +30 (SPA); V01:LYI2BGRt:7TwGx5jxe8cylj5nOTae9JQXYqoWvG2w4ZSfwYCXmHCH/5vVNCE fRD7wNNM86txwLDTO522ZNxyNHhvJUK9d2buMQuAUCMoea2jJHaDdtRgkGxNSkO2 v6svm0LsZikLMqRErHtBCYEWIgxp2bl0W3oA3nIbtfp3li0kta27g/ZjoXcgz5Sw B8lEqWBqKWMSta1mCM+XD/RbWVsjr+LqTKg== Envelope-To: [email protected] From: <[email protected]> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 Message-Id: <[email protected]> Date: Tue, 27 Apr 2010 15:12:47 -0700 (PDT) <p>This is a simple HTML email</p> And here are the contents of my /var/log/mail.log file after sending the email: Apr 27 15:29:01 User-iMac postfix/qmgr[705]: 74B1514EDDF: removed Apr 27 15:29:30 User-iMac postfix/pickup[704]: 25FBC14EDF0: uid=70 from=<_www> Apr 27 15:29:30 User-iMac postfix/master[758]: fatal: open lock file pid/master.pid: unable to set exclusive lock: Resource temporarily unavailable Apr 27 15:29:30 User-iMac postfix/cleanup[745]: 25FBC14EDF0: message-id=<[email protected]> Apr 27 15:29:30 User-iMac postfix/qmgr[705]: 25FBC14EDF0: from=<[email protected]>, size=423, nrcpt=1 (queue active) Apr 27 15:29:30 User-iMac postfix/smtp[747]: 25FBC14EDF0: to=<[email protected]>, relay=shawmail.vc.shawcable.net[64.59.128.135]:25, delay=0.21, delays=0.01/0/0.1/0.1, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 ok: Message 25784419 accepted) Apr 27 15:29:30 User-iMac postfix/qmgr[705]: 25FBC14EDF0: removed Two other people in the office have followed the exact same process and are running the exact same script, version of snow leopard, php, etc. and everything is working fine for them.   • LightDM will not start after stopping it

    - by Sweeters
I am running Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot", and in trying to install the nvidia CUDA developer drivers I switched to a virtual terminal (Ctrl-Alt-F5) and stopped lightdm (installation required that no X server instance be running) through sudo service lightdm stop. Re-starting lightdm with sudo service lightdm start did not work: A couple of * Starting [...] lines where displayed, but the process hanged. (I do not remember at which point, but I think it was * Starting System V runlevel compatibility. I manually rebooted my laptop, and ever since booting seems to hang, usually around the * Starting anac(h)ronistic cron [OK] log line (not consistently at that point, though). From that point on, I seem to be able to interact with my system only through a tty session (Ctrl-Alt-F1). I've tried purging and reinstalling both lightdm and gdm, as well as selecting both as the default display managers (through sudo dpkg-reconfigure [lightdm / gdm] or by manually editing /etc/X11/default-display-manager) through both apt-get and aptitude (that shouldn't make a difference anyway) after updating the packages, but the problem persists. Some of the responses I'm getting are the following: After running sudo dpkg-reconfigure lightdm (but not ... gdm) I get the following message: dpkg-maintscript-helper:warning: environment variable DPKG_MATINSCRIPT_NAME missing dpkg-maintscript-helper:warning: environment variable DPKG_MATINSCRIPT_PACKAGE missing After trying sudo service lightdm start or sudo start lightdm I get to see the boot loading screen again but nothing changes. If I go back to the tty shell I see lightdm start/running, process <num> but ps -e | grep lightdm gives no output. After trying sudo service gdm start or sudo starg gdm I get the gdm start/running, process <num> message, and gdm-binary is supposedly an active process, but all that happens is that the screen blinks a couple of times and nothing else. Other candidate solutions that I'd found on the web included running startx but when I try that I get an error output [...] Fatal server error: no screens found [...]. Moreover, I made sure that lightdm-gtk-greeter is installed but that did not help either. Please excuse my not including complete outputs/logs; I am writing this post from another computer and it's hard to manually copy the complete logs. Also, I've seen several posts that had to do with similar problems, but either there was no fix, or the one suggested did not work for me. In closing: Please help! I very much hope to avoid re-installing Ubuntu from scratch! :) Alex @mosi I did not manage to fix the NVIDIA kernel driver as per your instructions. I should perhaps mention that I'm on a Dell XPS15 laptop with an NVIDIA Optimus graphics card, and that I have bumblebee installed (which installs nvidia drivers during its installation, I believe). Issuing the mentioned commands I get the following: ~$uname -r 3.0.0-12-generic ~$lsmod | grep -i nvidia nvidia 11713772 0 ~$dmesg | grep -i nvidia [ 8.980041] nvidia: module license 'NVIDIA' taints kernel. • How to set up dual quadro cards on RHEL 5.5?

    - by Alex J. Roberts
I have a RHEL 5 workstation with 2 nvidia Quadro FX4500 cards, with one display attached to each card. After doing a clean install of RHEL 5.5, the second display doesnt work (it worked ok in RHEL 5.2). Neither separate X screens nor Xinerama are working. The kernel version is 2.6.18-194.el5 I've tried nvidia drivers 185.18.36 (the ones that i was using on 5.2) and the latest 260.19.36 and neither works. • Eclipse on mac: how comes that everytime I install an Eclipse plug-in on my mac I always get this er

I'm using Eclipse for several projects on Leopard OSX. I've installed several versions (Classic, PDT, etc). When I install a new plug-in using the Help Install New Software functionality and I restart it, I always get the same error and I cannot anymore use it: !ENTRY org.eclipse.equinox.launcher 4 0 2010-04-20 17:32:42.540 !MESSAGE Exception launching the Eclipse Platform: !STACK java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.eclipse.core.runtime.adaptor.EclipseStarter at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:200) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:188) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:317) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:252) at org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.Main.invokeFramework(Main.java:556) at org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.Main.basicRun(Main.java:514) at org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.Main.run(Main.java:1311) What is causing the error? How can I get these plugins to work? Thanks

  • eMail with Conflicting Headers not blocked in MS365

    - by John Meredith Langstaff
On occasion, a company receives eMail with two header fields (“Received” and “From”) containing data that contradict each other drastically. Should they not expect their anti-spam system to flag or block items with contradictions in these fields? For example, they received an eMail which contained [almost exactly] these two headers: Received: from [107.52.51.26] by web315204.mail.ne1.yahoo.com via HTTP; Mon,28 Oct 2013 04:28:04 PDT From: Barry Smith [email protected] Obviously, eMail from an @att.net address isn’t coming from a server on the domain yahoo.com, and Yahoo isn’t forwarding AT&T’s eMail. There were no other headers indicating that the item was sent “OnBehalfOf”, or “Forwarded-by”, or “By_Proxy” or any other such. Should I write a utility to scan incoming eMail for such conflicts, or look more closely at their spam filtering to block this kind of eMail? Their eMail system is Hosted Exchange on MS-365. My central question is, where specifically do I look in MS-365 to get this type of conflicted eMail blocked?

I need files ending with ".pdf" or ".png"; here's my attempt: find /Users/robottinosino/Desktop/_PublishMe_ -type f -regex '.*[pdf|png]' this incorrectly includes files ending with "Apdf", "Zpdf", etc. (missing literal dot before file extension) I tried adjusting the pattern to: find /Users/robottinosino/Desktop/_PublishMe_ -type f -regex '.*\.[pdf|png]' but then no results are returned. Escaping the . with a backslash does not work. Why? So far I've successfully launched the configure, but when I type make, I get the following error, after some time (there's a lot which compile successfully): ld: unknown/unsupported architecture name for: -arch i686 /usr/bin/libtool: internal link edit command failed make[2]: *** [libgcc_s.dylib] Error 1 make[1]: *** [libgcc.a] Error 2 make: *** [all-gcc] Error 2 Is there a way to tell gcc not to compile itself for the i686 architecture? Here's my uname -a if it can help: Darwin Frizlabs-Computer.local 12.2.0 Darwin Kernel Version 12.2.0: Sat Aug 25 00:48:52 PDT 2012; root:xnu-2050.18.24~1/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64 PS: I know gcc-4.0 is ancient, but I do need it.

  • Lock manager stops responding (lockd/nfslock), but shows as running

    - by dwaynehoov
Essentially, lock manager stops responding (lockd/nfslock), but shows as running as a kernel process. If I bounce portmap and nfslock, it has no effect. Doesn't show up in the portmapper registered services rpcinfo -p .. doesn't show nlockmgr. it just shows portmapper and status If I manually remount the drives, it fixes the issue. I'm assuming that the service (lockd) goes stale or hangs when there is no NFS activity? It seems like issuing a mount for NFS volumes "awakens" it and things work once that happens. Please help me nail this down for point me to somewhere to get more information on what might be happening. System info: Linux xxx.yyy.com 2.6.32-300.38.1.el5uek #1 SMP Thu Oct 18 11:51:13 PDT 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux cat /etc/redhat-release Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.8 (Tikanga) cat /etc/oracle-release Oracle Linux Server release 5.8 Thanks
