    Hi, My string is mystring = "<tr><td><span class='para'><b>Total Amount : </b>INR (Indian Rupees) 100.00</span></td></tr>" My problem here is I have to search and get the total amount test = re.search("(Indian Rupees)(\d{2})(?:\D|$)", mystring) but my test give me None. How can I get the values and values can be 10.00, 100.00, 1000.00 Thanks

    I've looked all around and decided to make my own library for accessing the EVE API. Requests are sent to a server address such as /account/Characters.xml.aspx. Characters.xml.aspx requires two item be submitted in POST and then it returns an XML file.     Hello all, I'm just a beginner and I have a need to parse a NTFS partition for the purpose of extracting Security Descriptors. (I been trying to use the native functions of the Windows API, but my conclusion is that something is seriously wrong with the functions' behavior, or their documentation.) I was wondering if anybody here experienced with such requirement, and could give me few hints, references, guidance... where to begin? (I've found www.ntfs.com, seems to have NTFS structure information, but I'm afraid I'll need something more to get started...) My intention is to use it under Windows XP. I have created a swing application that basically has three input strings in JTextFields: loanAmount, interestRate and loanYears and a single submit button with the EventAction. I'm trying to use the java.util.Scanner to parse the input to primitive types that I can use in calculations.   • Parsing/executing C# code in C++ (on Linux)?

    I want to be able to add scripting functionality to my application. One of the language bindings I am considering is C# (and possibly VB.Net). The challenge is this: My application is developed in C++ My application runs on Linux I am aware of Mono, but I dont know (as yet), what is required to allow my C++ appliaction (running on linux), to be scriptable with .Net languages. Is this feasible? Am I crazy for even thinking of doing this? If I'm not crazy, can anyone provide some guidelines on how to go about implementing this? Help, tips, ideas, suggestions anyone?

  • Parsing string logic issue c#

    This is a follow on from this question My program is taking in a string that is comprised of two parts: a distance value and an id number respectively. I've split these up and stored them in local variables inside my program. All of the id numbers are stored in a dictionary and are used check the incoming distance value. Though I should note that each string that gets sent into my program from the device is passed along on a single string. The next time my program receives that a signal from a device, it overrides the previous data that was there before. Should the id key coming into my program match one inside my dictionary, then a variable held next to my dictionaries key, should be updated. However, when I run my program, I don't get 6 different values, I only get the same value and they all update at the same time.     I have a bunch of rows with a date and a dollar amount (expenses). I want to produce a list of the days of the month and what the balance of the expenses is. So, for example the 5th entry in the list would be 8/5/2008 and the sum of all the expenses that occurred on or before 8/5/2008. Approximately this is =sumif(D4:D30-A5,">0",E4:E30) but of course that doesn't work (where the source data is dates in D4:D30 and the expenses are in E4:E30). Notes source data can't be sorted for various reasons. must work in google spreadsheets, which is a fairly complete subset of excel's functions.

    I can't figure how to have cmd.exe not interpret something like %PATH% as an environment variable.     Re, One photo with exposure being 1/640 has the EXIF field of "ExposureTime" eq. "15625/10000000". I am not sure why some photos display this value in a readable format (e.g., "1/100"), but I need to convert this "15625" back to "1/640". How? :) Thanks.

So I was wondering what would be a good way to get that part of the string? I was thinking to use #include <regex.h> which I already have a procedure to match regexp's but not sure how the regexp in C will look like using the POSIX style notation. [:alpha:]+[:digit:] and if performance will be an issue. Or will it be better using strchr,strstr? Any ideas will be appreciate it

    Hi, I have this line of code: return (this.pretWithoutDiscount / Double.Parse(UtilsStatic.getEuroValue())).ToString("N2") + "€"; In debug mode i've tested and the values are: UtilsStatic.getEuroValue() = "4.1878" this.pretWithoutDiscount = 111.0 Can anyone explaing WHY: Double.Parse(UtilsStatic.getEuroValue()) = 41878.0 when it should be 4.1878 ?? Thanks... PS: UtilsStatic.getEuroValue returns a string.

    Hello, does anyone knows a file format for configuration files easy to read by humans? I want to have something like tag = value where value may be: String Number(int or float) Boolean(true/false) Array(of String values, Number values, Boolean values) Another structure(it will be more clear what I mean in the fallowing example) Now I use something like this: IntTag=1 FloatTag=1.1 StringTag="a string" BoolTag=true ArrayTag1=[1 2 3] ArrayTag2=[1.1 2.1 3.1] ArrayTag3=["str1" "str2" "str3"] StructTag= { NestedTag1=1 NestedTag2="str1" } and so on. Parsing is easy but for large files I find it hard to read/edit in text editors. I don't like xml for the same reason, it's hard to read. INI does not support nesting and I want to be able to nest tags. I also don't want a complicated format because I will use limited kind of values as I mentioned above. Thanks for any help.
