  • Foreign key problem linking tables in phpMyAdmin

    I'm using phpMyAdmin (PHP & MySQL) and I'm having a lot of trouble linking the tables using foreign keys. I'm getting negative values for the field countyId (which is the foriegn key). However, it is linking to my other table and cascading fine. When I go to add data there will be a drop selection for the CountyId and the values will look something like this: " -1 1- " Here is my alter statement: ALTER TABLE Baronies ADD FOREIGN KEY (CountyId) REFERENCES Counties (CountyId) ON DELETE CASCADE

    I have a Linux router (Debian 6.x) where i forward some ports to internal services. Some tcp ports (like 80, 22...) are OK. I have one Application listening on port 54277udp. No return is coming from this app, i only get Data on this port.     When I click an e-mail address in Adobe Reader X, an Outlook e-mail window opens, even though Thunderbird is my standard e-mail client and assigned to the mailto: protocol. How can I make Adobe Reader X open e-mail links in Thunderbird? I'm using Windows 7. How to Change the Email Client in Adobe Reader doesn't seem to apply to this version of Adobe Reader, I don't see the drop-down menu of step 6.

  • How to stop a ICMP attack?

    We are under a heavy icmp flood attack. Tcpdump shows the result below. Altough we have blocked ICMP with iptables tcpdump still prints icmp packets. I've also attached iptables configuration and "top" result. Is there any thing I can do to completely stop icmp packets?     I recently bought a new monitor which has a resolution of 2048 x 1152. However, this resolution is not on in the options list. I have tried installing ATI Catalyst but to no avail. I am running the monitor on the VGA cable. How can I add the resolution to the settings drop down? Additional info: VGA is through a splitter cable from DVI The outputs on my grahics card are DVI and VGA Monitor only has VGA input

    When I select Any Printer in the Format For: drop down box for a Pages '09 document, the next time I reopen the document it reverts to formatting for the specific printer that was originally selected. Why isn't the Format For: selection persistent? I know for certain that this problem exists on documents that I originally created in an earlier version of Pages. I have not yet confirmed if it also happens in documents originally created in Pages '09.

  • Sendto shortcuts not working on Vista

    I'm trying to customize my sendto shortcut following instructions posted on a How-To Geek article. The problem is that any shortcut I drop into the sendto folder doesn't appear as a shortcut when I right-click-sendto. If I copy the actual application (say, Notepad) into the Sendto folder, it will appear as an option but it will not run. If I create a shortcut by copying the actual application and pasting a shortcut, it doesn't appear. Anyone run into this problem before?

  • Mac OS X bug: Desktop & Screen Saver: image alignment preference is ignored.

    I have my desktop background set to rotate through a folder of images. Even though I have the alignment drop-down list set to "Center", the images still render as "Fill to Screen". When I change the list value to something else, then back to "Center", OR I manually click on a different image to display, well, that image is rendered as "Center". But all images that follow (via the "Change picture every x minutes" checkbox) are rendered as Fill to Screen. Any fix to this bug?

    When you use standard windows open file dialog and start typing it puts files whose name starts with what you type to drop down list. But on another pc with same Windows 7 it also puts first of them into input box in which you type - like FF does with URLS, allowing you to immediately press Enter (without pressing 'Down' to select file). I don't know why this behavior is different, but I want suggested file name shown in input box. How could it be achieved? Thanks.

    Hello, I'm trying to setup a site to site VPN, with a Cisco ASA 5505 at one end. The documentation tells me to use the Ipsec VPN wizard but under the wizards drop down menu there's nothing VPN related there. I have a 'base' license, is that the issue? or am I being stupid? The versions I have are: Cisco Asa 5505 with ASA 8.2(1) and ASDM 6.2(1), the firewall was already setup when I got it (I'm leasing a dedicated server). Thanks for your help

  • How can I export PDF from InDesign so that transparency renders properly on all platforms?

    Gradients, including drop shadows, all show up as solid blocks when I view my document on an Android phone. I tried different PDF compression and compatibility settings in an attempt to flatten and rasterize all the graphics, but it's clearly not working, as the Android viewer still identifies the outlines of transparent shapes instead of the blended pixels. Is there any way to truly flatten these PDF graphics, so that it doesn't matter whether a PDF viewer supports transparency, while keeping the text as text?

    I know there is a similar topic on syncing between computers, but I'm looking for an application to run on one computer that will sync a "document/file" folder with a folder on my secondary/external USB drive. What would be the best solution? I know I could use Dropbox & Live Mesh, but they use up bandwith which isn't very good when I drop in a lot of large files. I'm running Windows 7, but I assume any solution for Windows Vista would work just fine.

  • Excel 2007: what happened to the Auto Expand Selection tool?

    Older versions of Excel had a icon that would expand the selection to include any non-empty cells in all directions. It was an X shape with four arrowheads. You can still write VBA code to do this, but I really miss this tool. Did they just drop it from Excel 2007? In older versions you had to go get it from the Customize menu because it wasn't on any toolbar by default.

    I can't change Firefox's menu background color using userChrome.css on Windows 7. menubar, menubutton, menulist, menu, menuitem { color: red !important; background-color: orange !important; } This seems to work as the menubar changes to red and orange. But the background-color on the actual drop down menu stays the same (that Windows 7 menu look), although the text color does change to red. Any ideas??
