  • Enforce link in Team foundation server bug work item for duplicates

    We have just started out with Team Foundation Server 2008 / Visual Studio Team System and we are pleased to find how we can export and modify work items to our needs. However, this last thing that would make the setup perfect for us has proved somewhat difficult: We have exported the Bug work item type and have made modifications to it to appear differently to different groups of users. We do, however, see a potential problem in non-developers reporting bugs which turn out to be duplicates. We would like to enforce that users who close a ticket with resolved reason:duplicate also creates a link to the bug which is perceived as the first bug report. I have looked at System.RelatedLinkCount, and put the rule <FIELD type="Integer" name="RelatedLinkCount" refname="System.RelatedLinkCount"> <WHEN field="Microsoft.VSTS.Common.ResolvedReason" value="duplicate"> <PROHIBITEDVALUES> <LISTITEM value="0" /> </PROHIBITEDVALUES> </WHEN> </FIELD> However, when I try to put anything in that scope, the importer tells me that System.RelatedLinkCount does not accept the rule, no matter what I put, but the rule above shows what I am trying to do (even though the most preferable rule would also check that the bug that I link to is not a duplicate as well, though this is overkill :P) Has anyone else tried to enforce rules like this in work items? Is there another approach to solving the same issue? I am thankful for any thoughts on the matter.

This work for '/index' and '/login' paths. But I'm getting 404 response for '/static/login' when invoked from the browser. I'm expecting that '/static/login/' and '/login' should behave the same. What could be wrong here? Would appreciate any help. Thanks!

    I'm having an issue on a HTML email in Word rendered Outlooks (2007, 2010, 2013) where I click an image link, and when the mouse is clicked, the image inverts... I have tried putting a text-decoration: none on the link. All the links are styled inline as well. This is the only image that it is having this issue on the email, so tried re-saving the image with no luck. The image is saved as a JPEG and SRGB from a Photoshop PSD. Any ideas? Thanks.

  • Statically checking a Java app for link errors

    I have a scenario where I have code written against version 1 of a library but I want to ship version 2 of the library instead. The code has shipped and is therefore not changeable. I'm concerned that it might try to access classes or members of the library that existed in v1 but have been removed in v2. I figured it would be possible to write a tool to do a simple check to see if the code will link against the newer version of the library. I appreciate that the code may still be very broken even if the code links. I am thinking about this from the other side - if the code won't link then I can be sure there is a problem. As far as I can see, I need to run through the bytecode checking for references, method calls and field accesses to library classes then use reflection to check whether the class/member exists. I have three-fold question: (1) Does such a tool exist already? (2) I have a niggling feeling it is much more complicated that I imagine and that I have missed something major - is that the case? (3) Do you know of a handy library that would allow me to inspect the bytecode such that I can find the method calls, references etc.? Thanks!

    I want to create an img that has four different states: State 1 over State 1 out State 2 over State 2 out Each state is a different image, and the user can toggle between states 1 and 2 by clicking on the image. To do this I change the src when the image is clicked and the onmouseover and onmouseout attributes of the img element. However when the attributes have been changed they become nulled and do nothing. How can I dynamically change these properties?   • jQuery adding a function to a link question

    Hello all, I have a dynamically created table which in the last <td> there is a hidden <div> which is shown when the user hovers over a link in the <td>. That all works fine but there are several links in the div that I want to fire a function based on the id of the link concat'd with an string captured from a <td> from the parent row. I can capture the the variables I need from the id and <td> but something is wrong with the click function I have created. I monitored the function in FireBug and the function appears to be firing on all of the links instead of the one that is clicked. In one scenario a particular column contains image tags. Since my table is editable (using jquery) the image cell also becomes editable and removes my content. I want some special behavior on double click of such cells like say upload an image. How do I accomplish this with a jquery? Here is the following code : each user in users - if (user.valid == 1) tr(style="color:green;") - else tr(style="color:red;") td = user.mail td = user.lastIp td = user.token td = user.valid My problem is that the tds are created only in the else case. if the if (user.valid == 1) is true, then it creates an empty tr. Is there a way I can create my tr with this condition, and then only fill them ? Thanks :)

    I have the following scenario. I show the user some audio files from the server. The user clicks on one, then onFileSelected is eventually executed with both the selected folder and file. What the function does is change the source from the embedded object. So in a way, it is a preview of the selected file before accepting it and save the user's choice. A visual aid. Why does Safari prevent me from changing the <embed> source and how can I circumvent this?

I need to get its parent (Actual) location i.e. $/Link/file1 and $/Link/File2 Is there any way to find Link files location using SourceSafeTypeLib?

  • Make joomla blog link to inner pages(or blog roll post actual)

    So i was told to create a blog for client in Joomla and, i have minimal knowledge of Joomla inner workings. I made the blog as seen here http://www.assurancepower.com/about-us/blog.html But the problem is that, the headers/titles for each story in that blog roll cant be clicked. Im wondering is there a way i can make this happen? Essentially this page is a collection of the stories and i want to be able to click on a particular one (any of them) and be taken to its inner page/full version of the story. Not exactly sure what im supposed to do/search for. Im not sure if joomla has a wordpress like functions.php or for example, is there somewhere i can instert a....maybe something like how wordpress does it with permalinks like so: <?php permalink(); ?> //title link here to the actual story. or something like <?php bloginfo('url');?>// this relative link for WP. Etc, All i want is to be able to have these titles in this story be active links to their full counterpart. Not sure what to look for/how to go about fixing this. Thanks in advanced.
