• Installation doesn't recognize SQL server 2008 saying Server components not found

  Please answer these 2 questions: Our installation is not recognising the SQL server 2008 and if we try to create a DB, its telling Server components not found. Please tell what may be the issue and why it's not recognising. But our installation proceeds as client installation(if i point to the same instance with DB already created) without any issues. Can we install SQL express 2005 in a machine where SQL server 2008 is already installed. Please clarify.

• Why are my arrow keys getting stuck? CodeRush/VS2010

  I have VS2010 and CodeRush Express installed on my machine. Occasionally I am hitting some key combination (inadvertently, don't know what I am hitting) that is causing my up/down arrow keys to get "stuck", they stop moving the cursor up and down. Restarting the dev env fixes the problem.

  OK, i have a strange problem. I have this piece of code: int *p; int test; p=&test; In Visual C++ express, in my exsisting project, I get this error: missing type specifier - int assumed. 'p' : 'int' differs in levels of indirection from 'char *' 'initializing' : cannot convert from 'char *' to 'int' But when i create new project, same code is fine. Whats the problem please?

  Hello. I have a simple Silverlight program that displays a bunch of images. I modified it do display more images, but it when I hit "run without debugging" is keeps running the old build with fewer images. When I copy the code into a new project and run it, it works fine for the first time, but then each subsequent change is not displayed. What could be the problem?
