  • Socialengine installation error

    I'm trying to install Socialengine (clean install, empty database, legal license key), but I ran into this error message at Step 3 of the installation: Step 3: Setup MySQL Database Mysqli statement execute error : Prepared statement needs to be re-prepared I found a troubleshooting artice about "Bug in MySQLi Extension Causes Apache 500 Error" at http://www.socialengine.net/blog/article?id=161&article=Bug-in-MySQLi-Extension-Causes-Apache-500-Error I uploaded the fixed file and try to install again, but it still doesn't work. It terminates at Step 3 again with the same error message. I would be very grateful if you could help me. Thanks.

  • Need Help to fix hmtl.sty not found error

    I installed texlive 2012 on ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64 bit machine following the instructions given in the following web How do I install the latest TeX Live 2012? After, a successful installation( I think), I got the following error when I do a pdflatex to compile a give tex file This is pdfTeX, Version 3.1415926-2.4-1.40.13 (TeX Live 2012/Debian) restricted \write18 enabled. entering extended mode (./user_guide.tex LaTeX2e <2011/06/27 Babel and hyphenation patterns for english, dumylang, nohyphenation, lo aded. (/usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/tex/latex/base/article.cls Document Class: article 2007/10/19 v1.4h Standard LaTeX document class (/usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/tex/latex/base/size12.clo)) ! LaTeX Error: File `html.sty' not found. Type X to quit or to proceed, or enter new name. (Default extension: sty) so would you help me in getting a solution? Thank you in advance

    Possible Duplicate: How can I increase the traffic to my site? I have done pretty nice SEO of my website , the website is made in php , anyone can submit article and the submitted articles are moderated by the moderators , the site is online from more then a month but still the user count is 10-20 only total impressions are 700 according to webmaster google , how much time does google webmaster takes to refresh the data , cause from 3 -4 days the impressions shown in the dashboard are 700 only , I am posting 2 article each day , please help me , I am very disappointed with all my effort and i really need a good motivation to carry on my work.   • What is "egoless programming"?

    I first heard this term about fifteen years ago. My understanding is similar to that described in the Wikipedia article and a TechRepublic article: you work with your colleagues in a "friendly, collegiate way in which personal feelings are put aside". It includes things like doing peer reviews with mutual respect and a desire to learn, and not feeling like you "own" code, so if somebody has a suggestion or says there's a bug or needs to change it, you don't get defensive about it. I've also thought it was largely about having an attitude that makes for good relations with other programmers with the goal of improving the code. So I haven't seen it as being incompatible with taking pride in the quality of your work or feeling regret if something you did caused your customer a problem. However, an answer to a recent question makes me think some other programmers have different understandings about "egoless programming". So what is the correct definition? And what are its implications?
