  • Store NSArray In Core Data Sample Code?

    Ey guys, I have been searching for some sample code on how to store an NSArray in Core Data for awhile now, but haven't had any luck. Would anyone mind pointing me to some tutorial or example, or better yet write a simple sample as an answer to this question? I have read this but it doesn't show an example of how to go about implementing a transformable attribute that is an NSArray. Thanks in advance!

The template thingy in VS does not make the field to go with it. Just looking for something a little bit better.     I execute a core data fetch which specifies a predicate as follows: NSPredicate *predicate = [NSPredicate predicateWithFormat:@"identifier IN %@", favoritesIDs]; When there are duplicate items in the favoriteIDs array, the fetch request only returns 1 managed object. How can I ensure that more than one instance is fetched? Thank you.

  • Restoring and passing data to an already running instance of a .NET application

    The goal is to have an application that runs in the system tray and can either accept user input from its actual GUI (which isn't the actual issue) OR accept command line parameters (that would actually be done via a context menu in windows explorer). Now, while I'm aware that the command line parameters are not exactly possible once the application has started, I need a way to pass data to the already running application instance via some form of handler. I'm thinking maybe define and raise some sort of event? Thanks in advance.

I can pass my NSMutableArray easily using : DetailViewController *detailNote = [self.storyboard instantiateViewControllerWithIdentifier:@"detailNote"]; detailNote.ArrayItem = [allAnotacionsEntries objectAtIndex:indexPath.row]; [self.navigationController pushViewController:detailNote animated:YES]; but I want to pass additional NSMutableArray to the view and i don´t know how to do it.   • Created Custom Report in Google Analytics, Primary Account Doesn't See It?

    A client shared access with me to their Google Analytics account. I created a custom report which shows up under Custom Reporting for me. I assumed they would also see this report since it was in their account but they sent me a screen shot showing there's no custom report listed. I have already sent them the shortcut link to the custom report configuration. This seems to be the way to share custom reports along with dashboards in GA now. Do custom reports only appear to the accounts (email) that created them? I would think everyone who had access to the account would see the custom report.

  • Java template classes using generator or similar?

    Is there some library or generator that I can use to generate multiple templated java classes from a single template? Obviously Java does have a generics implementation itself, but since it uses type-erasure, there are lots of situations where it is less than adequate. For example, if I want to make a self-growing array like this: class EasyArray { T[] backingarray; } (where T is a primitive type), then this isn't possible. This is true for anything which needs an array, for example high-performance templated matrix and vector classes. It should probably be possible to write a code generator which takes a templated class and generates multiple instantiations, for different types, eg for 'double' and 'float' and 'int' and 'String'. Is there something that already exists that does this? Edit: note that using an array of Object is not what I'm looking for, since it's no longer an array of primitives. An array of primitives is very fast, and uses only as much space a sizeof(primitive) * length-of-array. An array of object is an array of pointers/references, that points to Double objects, or similar, which could be scattered all over the place in memory, require garbage collection, allocation, and imply a double-indirection for access. Edit2: good god, voted down for asking for something that probably doesn't currently exist, but is technically possible and feasible? Does that mean that people looking for ways to improve things have already left the java community? The datastructure is int[][][] It contains no duplicates The range of integers that are contained in it is defined. Let's say it's 0..1000, the maximal integer is definitely not greater than 10000. Big problem is that this hash function should also be very fast. Is there a way to create such a hash function? Maybe at run time depending on the integer range?

As I understand it when using LINQ to SQL the view code will know which field is the primary key. Is there a way that I can an attribute to the property (or class) that will let the View Generator know that the ID property if the primary key?

    I have a DB schema composed of MYISAM tables, i am interested to delete old records from time to time from some of the tables. I know that delete does not reclaim the memory space, but as i found in a description of DELETE command, inserts may reuse the space deleted In MyISAM tables, deleted rows are maintained in a linked list and subsequent INSERT operations reuse old row positions. I am interested if LOAD DATA command also reuses the deleted space? UPDATE I am also interested how the index space reclaimed?
