• Reverse geocode street name and city as text

  Hello, I have been having some trouble finding a good way to output just the street name and city as text (Infinite Loop, Cupertino shown here) that can be displayed in my iPhone app. This needs to be able to dynamically change as you change streets and city. I don't have the slightest idea of how to do this, I hope someone can help. I have attached a very rough image of what I am trying to acheave. I have found this (http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/javascript/services.html#Geocoding) for google maps about how to reverse geocode using javascript, but what I do not understand is how this would be done in a iPhone development setting. I work in web design and I see how it would be done in HTML but I am very new to iPhone development and don't have the slightest clue of how it would be done here. If someone could spell out how to do this I would be extremely grateful. I cannot seem to find what I am looking for by searching Google. • Best practice to test a web application, regarding domain name and integration with external service

  I have run into these problems several times and was never able to find a comfortable solution. Let's say my website has the domain name MyDomain.com. When I run the tests on the test machine (a continuous integration server), I will modify the HOSTS file on this machine so the MyDomain.com is mapped to this local machine instead of the real production server. This doesn't work very well for many situations. For example, my application will create subdomain names user1.MyDomain.com dynamically but this is difficult to keep the testing flexible. Another problem is my web application will interact with Amazon S3, and sometimes other service like Amazon Simple Message Queue. I am only comfortable to include these interaction in my tests but I am never happy with my solution for mixing testing and production on Amazon services. Could somebody offer some tips on these issues? I would like to make my testing framework clean and flexible. I am sure this is a common question for all web applications and there must be a mature way to deal with these. Thanks!

  I need to use a variable to indicate what database to query in the declaration of a cursor. • Unpredictable CCK field name in returned View data

  I'm using views_get_view_result to directly access the data in a view. I've stumbled upon this odd behavior where cck fields are prefixed with the first field name as a query optimization. Explained here. What's bizarre though is that fields are named differently depending on whether I retrieve that data as Anonymous or as Admin. I'm pretty sure all my permissions are set up, and the view itself has no restrictions. What is going on here? This is a big problem since I can't know how to retrieve a field. • JVM to ignore certificate name mismatch

  I know there were a lot of questions/answers about how to ignore SSL error in the code. On our dev region dev.domain.tld we have configured a app server over SSL. The certificate that is displayed is for somedev.domain.tld. There is no way to change the certificate, it will always be a domain mismatch. So when I deploy a web-service to https://dev.domain.tld and try to connect/call my webservice I get an exception: Caused by: java.security.cert.CertificateException: No name matching dev.domain.tld found And I have the somedev.domain.tld CERT in my trust store. Now, I saw a lot of samples how to change that in the code (using a Trust Manager that accepts all domains), but how do I specify to the JVM to ignore the domain mismatch when connecting to the server? Is there a -Djavax.net.ssl argument or something? Thank you! UPDATE: Or, since I am using Spring-WS, is there a way to set some property in Spring for that? • Problem with inner classes of the same name in Visual C++

  I have a problem with Visual C++, where apparently inner classes with the same name but in different outer classes are confused. The problem occurs for two layers, where each layer has a listener interface as an inner class. B is a listener of A, and has its own listener in a third layer above it (not shown). The structure of the code looks like this: A.h class A { class Listener { Listener(); virtual ~Listener() = 0; } [...] } B.h class B : public A::Listener { class Listener { Listener(); virtual ~Listener() = 0; } [...] } B.cpp B::Listener::Listener() {} B::Listener::~Listener() {} I get the error B.cpp(49) : error C2509: '{ctor}' : member function not declared in 'B' The C++ compiler for Renesas sh2a has no problem with this, but then it is more liberal than Visual C++ in some other respects, too. If I rename the listener interfaces to have different names the problem goes away, but I'd like to avoid that (the real class names instead of A or B are rather long). Is what I'm doing correct C++, or is the complaint by Visual C++ justified? Is there a way to work around this problem without renaming the listener interfaces?

I just remembered it and I'm now wondering if this is really part of the language grammar (which I highly doubt) or if it's a compiler bug.   I am thinking of a "naive" timekeeping system of the sort I believe would be likely to be implemented by non-specialists. A day is exactly 24 hours. An hour is exactly 60 minutes. A minute is exactly 60 seconds. No exceptions (i.e. no Daylight Saving or leap seconds). A leap year occurs exactly once every four years: if the year modulo 4 equals 0, it is a leap year. The month lengths are the normal 31 days for January, 28 or 29 days for February, etc., that you would expect to find on a wall calendar. Days of the week, if they are used, are what you would get by taking your contemporary (late 1900's / early 2000's) wall calendar and, using the above rules for leap years and month lengths, extrapolating in both directions: if the calendar goes far back enough, February 29, 1900 exists and is a Wednesday; and if the calendar goes far forward enough, February 29, 2100 exists and is a Monday. What name, if any, is used to describe precisely this system?

  I have a long string that contains multiple css classes. With regex I would like to match every class name as I then need to replace these class names like so: <span>CLASSNAME</span> I have tried for hours to come up with a solution and I think I am close however for certain class names I am not able to exclude closing curly brackets from the match. Here is a sample string I have been carrying out testing on: #main .items-Outer p{ font-family:Verdana; color: #000000; font-size: 50px; font-weight: bold; }#footer .footer-inner p.intro{ font-family:Arial; color: #444444; font-size: 30; font-weight: normal; }.genericTxt{ font-family:Courier; color: #444444; font-size: 30; font-weight: normal; } And here is the the regex I came up with so far: ((^(?:.+?)(?:[^{]*))|((?:\})(?:.+?)(?:[^{]*))) Please look at the screenshot I am attaching as it will show more clearly the matches I get.   When working with Crystal Report Field Objects and attempting to set "EnableSuppress" to False or alter the position or width of a field object is generating an "Invalid Object Format Name" error. The debugger shows all my code running without error until attempting to actually load the report. At that point, it will run the first couple without problem, then it fails when messing with a field object, and none of the rest will run. The code is shown below. Everything that generates an error is a FieldObject, but not all fieldObjects generate errors. In the code below, everything in Section2 is a TextObject and everything in Section3 is a FieldObject. • Shell Scripting: Generating output file name in script and then writing to it

  Hello, I have a shell script where a user passes different sizes as command line arguments. For each of those sizes, I want to perform some task, then save the output of that task into a .txt file with the size in the name. How can I take the command line passed and make that part of a stringname for the output file? I save the output file in a directory specified by another command line argument. Perhaps an example will clear it up. In the foor lop, the i value represents the command line argument I need to use, but $$i doesnt work. ./runMe arg1 arg2 outputDir [size1 size2 size3...] for ((i=4; i<$#; i++ )) do ping -s $$i google.com >> $outputDir/$$iresults.txt done I need to know how to build the $outputDir/$$iresults.txt string. Also, the ping -s $$i doesnt work. Its like I need two levels of replacement. I need to replace the $[$i] inner $i with the value in the loop, like 4 for ex, making it $4. Then replace $4 with the 4th command line argument! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  I created a web service using JAX-WS in RSA 7.5 and Websphere 7 using bottom-up approach. When I open the WSDL in SOAP UI, then the arguments section is appearing like this: <!--Optional--> <arg0> <empID>?</empId> </arg0> <!--Optional--> <arg1> <empName>?</empName> </arg1> <!--Optional--> <arg2> <empAddress>?</empAddress> </arg2> <!--Optional--> <arg3> <empCountry>?</empCountry> </arg3> The service method takes the above 4 elements as the parameters to return the employee details. 1) I want to rename this arg0, arg1, and so on with some valid names. 2) I want to remove the <!--optional--> present above the arg tags. (For removing the <!--optional--> from elements name, I used @XMLElement(required=true)). But I am not sure where exactly to use this annotation in this case :( Please help. Regards,

What are the mechanics of find/grep that cause file name to print when /dev/null is inserted into the mix? PS - yes, I know I can do "grep -H"

  I have been struggling with this for some times.. I searched around but didnt get a solution yet. This is only an issue on production server. In my development environment, everything works just fine. I am using JQuery/Ajax to update product information based on product's Color attribute. for example, a product has A and B color, the price for color A is different from color B. When user choose different color, the price information is updated as well.   Hello; I'm developping a web application with spring mvc, i started by developping the web application after i'm trying to add spring security; but i have this message, and i don't find a solution, • SSIS DTS Package flat file error - "The file name specified in the connection was not valid"

  I have a pretty basic SSIS package that is attempting to read a file hosted on a share, and import its contents to a database table. The package runs fine when I run it manually within SSIS. However, when I set up a SQL Agent job and attempt to execute it, I get the following error: Executed as user: DOMAIN\UserName. Started: 10:14:17 AM Error: 2010-05-03 10:14:17.75 Code: 0xC001401E Source: DataImport Connection manager "Data File Local" Description: The file name "\10.1.1.159\llpf\datafile.dat" specified in the connection was not valid. End Error Error: 2010-05-03 10:14:17.75 Code: 0xC001401D Source: DataAnimalImport Description: Connection "Data File Local" failed validation. End Error DTExec: The package execution returned DTSER_FAILURE (1). Started: 10:14:17 AM Finished: 10:14:17 AM Elapsed: 0.594 seconds. The package execution failed. The step failed. This leads me to believe it's a permissions issue, but every attempt I've made to fix it has failed. What I've tried so far: Run as the SQL Agent account (DOMAIN\SqlAgent) - yields same error. DOMAIN\SqlAgent has "Full Control" permissions on both the share and the uploaded file. Set up a proxy account with a different account's credentials (DOMAIN\Account) - yields same error. Like above, "Full Control" permissions were given over the share to that account. Gave "Everyone" full control permissions over the share (temporarily!). Yielded same error. Manually copied the file to a local path and tested with the SQL Agent account. Worked properly. Added an ActiveX script task that would first copy the remotely hosted file to a local path, and then have the DTS package reference the local file. Gave a completely nondescriptive (even by SSIS standards) error when trying to run the script. Set up a proxy account, using my own personal account's credentials - worked correctly. However, this is not an acceptable solution as there are password policies in place on my account, as well as being a bad practice to set things up this way in general. Any ideas? I'm still convinced it's a permissions issue. However, what I've read from various searches more or less says giving the executing account permissions on the share should work. However, this is not the case here (unless I'm missing something obscure when I'm setting up permissions on the share).

This number can change from time to time. What i Need is to grab the "Variant"-tag with the right number. In the above case I need to get the value from the "Variant5"-tag (93.9). Tomorrow the "OverRepresentedVariant"-value might have changed to 3, this would mean that I should now grab the "Variant3"-value instead. So this is what I got. I have a variable called $btOver which contains the above XML. I also have a variable called $btId which contains the "OverRepresentedVariant"-value like this: <xsl:variable name="btId" select="$btOver/OverRepresentedVariant" /> So now I need some help finding the Variant-tags with the right ID. The tags that I need will always be named "Variant" followed by an id. So how can I get the right tag? Thanks a lot in advance folks. /Kim Andersen

• Building a QueryExpression where name field is either A or B

  I'm trying to build a Dynamics CRM 4 query so that I can get calendar events that are named either "Event A" or "Event B". A QueryByAttribute doesn't seem to do the job as I cannot specify a condition where the field called "event_name" = "Event A" of "event_name" = "Event B". When using the QueryExpression, I've found the FilterExpression applies to the Referencing Entity. I don't know if the FilterExpression can be used on the Referenced Entity at all. The example below is something like what I want to achieve, though this would return an empty result set as it will go looking in the entity called "my_event_response" for a "name" attribute. It's starting to look like I will need to run several queries to get this but this is less efficient than if I can submit it all at once.
