  • MVC 3 ModelView passing parameters between view & controller

    I've been playing with MVC 3 in a test project and have the following issue. I have Group & Subscriber entities and those are coupled through a SubscriberGroup table. Using the DetailView of Group I open a view of SubscriberGroup containing all subscribers. This list has the option to filter. So far it all works, however when I call the AddToGroup method on the controller it fails. Specifically it goes into the method but doesn't pass the subscriberCheckedModels list. Am I doing something wrong?     I'm working on a Django timesheet application and am having trouble figuring out how to include aggregate sums that equal zero. If I do something like: entries = TimeEntry.objects.all().values("user__username").annotate(Sum("hours")) I get all users that have time entries and their sums. [{'username': u'bob' 'hours__sum':49}, {'username': u'jane' 'hours__sum':10}] When I filter that by a given day: filtered_entries = entries.filter(date="2010-05-17") Anyone who didn't enter time for that day is excluded. Is there a way to include those users who's sums are 0? Thanks

  • opacity in ie using absolutely positioned divs not working

    I've been banging my head against the wall for a few hours how trying to sort this out. I'm trying to position one div on top of another for the purpose of fading one in on top of the other. The divs will have an image and some other html in them. I cannot get opacity to work in ie8. Google currently says that I cannot filter on 'votes' because I order by 'date.' I don't see a way that I can do this the way I want to, so I'd appreciate any advice.

  • How do I get the "bucket id" that winqual uses if I have a minidump file or exception structure? (Windows c++)

    There are a few related questions on SO - but have not found the answer - I would like to generate a "signature"/bucket id to report a minidump/crash back to our issue tracking system. Since MS already does this with "bucket ids" I figured I could just re-use their bucket/signature generation. Can I get that ID from either a top level filter or the _EXCEPTION_POINTERS object I have inside the filter or the _MINIDUMP_EXCEPTION_INFORMATION structure or from the minidump itself? This is a C++ application.

    In what cases would a call to java.sql.ResultSetMetaData.isSearchable(int col) return false for an Oracle database? The documentation for the method doesn't really answer the question: "Indicates whether the designated column can be used in a where clause." I can think of only one case - when the column is the result of an aggregate function (in which case it would have to be part of a HAVING filter, not a WHERE filter). Are there any other cases?

If you delete a line z-index:0, in css class test1, the ie will perform correctly. In my project , the z-index must be set greater than zero, so I couldn't delete the line.     I have an app that so far consists of two Activities: The Main Menu Activity. The Game Activity The Main Menu Activity contains a button that starts the Game Activity with the following code: public void onClick(View clickedButton) { switch(clickedButton.getId()) { case R.id.buttonPlay: Intent i = new Intent("apple.banana.BouncingBallActivity"); startActivity(i); break; } When the user is done with the Game Activity, he presses the back button. This calls the onPause() method first, which pauses the animation thread of the game. It then calls the onStop() which calls finish() on the activity altogether. The user is returned to the Main Menu activity.   • Does ModSecurity 2.7.1 work with ASP.NET MVC 3?

    I'm trying to get ModSecurity 2.7.1 to work with an ASP.NET MVC 3 website. The installation ran without errors and looking at the event log, ModSecurity is starting up successfully. I am using the modsecurity.conf-recommended file to set the basic rules. The problem I'm having is that whenever I am POSTing some form data, it doesn't get through to the controller action (or model binder). I have SecRuleEngine set to DetectionOnly. I have SecRequestBodyAccess set to On. With these settings, the body of the POST never reaches the controller action. If I set SecRequestBodyAccess to Off it works, so it's definitely something to do with how ModSecurity forwards the body data.
