    Bonjour à tous, Actuellement, je suis à Berlin, au Cafe Moskau pour assister aux Qt DevDays 2012. Comme chaque année, la première journée est réservée aux formations. J'assiste à la formation appelée "Modern OpenGL with Qt5" réalisée par Sean Harmer de KDAB. Nous avons passé les deux heures de la matinée à voir la création et l'initialisation d'une fenêtre OpenGL dans Qt 5 (il y a quelques changements mineurs par rapport à Qt 4) et l'affichage d'un joli triangle en OpenGL moderne.

  • Sortie de Joomla! 3.0.0, responsive design, installation simplifiée et nouveau module de statistiques

    Voilà qui est fait, six mois après la sortie de Joomla! 2.5 : la version 3. Tout d'abord, un mot sur le release cycle : la version 2.5 est une LTS (long term support), pas la 3.0. Cette dernière permet de casser pas mal de choses et ne sera donc pas supportée à long terme : il faudra attendre la 3.5 pour cela (au rythme d'une version mineure tous les six mois). La 2.5 sera supportée jusqu'à la sortie de la 3.5, au moins : il est toujours sûr de l'utiliser, elle sera toujours supportée? mais ne verra pas d'évolution technique. Avec la sortie de cette version 3.0, par contre, c'est le support de la vieillissante 1.5 qui est arrêté. La migration de la 2.5 vers la 3.0 devrait se passer sans heurts, sauf en cas d'utilisation intensive d'extensions (quelques modifications...

  • XP Deploying issues due to msvcr90.dll trying to load FlsAlloc

    I have an application build with VS2008 SP1a (9.0.30729.4148) on Windows 7 x64 that does not want to start under XP. The message is The application failed to initialize properly (0x80000003). Click on OK to terminate the application.. I checked with depends.exe and found that msvcr90.dll does try to load FlsAlloc from KERNEL32.dll - and FlsAlloc is available only starting with Vista. I'm sure it is not used by the application. How to solve the issue?     Hi I'm learning templates in C++ so I decied to write matrix class which would be a template class. The key part seems to be this... /usr/include/c++/4.4/bits/stl_algobase.h:313: error: no match for ‘operator=’ in ‘__result.std::insert_iterator::operator* [with _Container = std::set, std::allocator ]() = __first.std::_List_iterator::operator* [with _Tp = std::basic_string, std::allocator ]()’ ...which I interpet to mean that the assignment operator needed is not defined. I took a look at the source code for insert_iterator and noted that it has overloaded the assignment operator. The copy algorithm must uses the insert iterators overloaded assignment operator to do its work(?). I guess that because my input iterator is on a container of strings and my output iterator is on a container of MyContainers that the overloaded insert_iterator assignment operator can no longer work. This is my best guess, but I am probably wrong. So, why exactly does this not work and how can I accomplish what I am trying to do?

  • Using enum values to represent binary operators (or functions)

    I'm looking for an elegant way to use values in a Java enum to represent operations or functions. My guess is, since this is Java, there just isn't going to be a nice way to do it, but here goes anyway. My enum looks something like this: public enum Operator { LT, LTEQ, EQEQ, GT, GTEQ, NEQ; ... } where LT means < (less than), LTEQ means <= (less than or equal to), etc - you get the idea. Now I want to actually use these enum values to apply an operator. I know I could do this just using a whole bunch of if-statements, but that's the ugly, OO way, e.g.: int a = ..., b = ...; Operator foo = ...; // one of the enum values if (foo == Operator.LT) { return a < b; } else if (foo == Operator.LTEQ) { return a <= b; } else if ... // etc What I'd like to be able to do is cut out this structure and use some sort of first-class function or even polymorphism, but I'm not really sure how. Something like: int a = ..., b = ...; Operator foo = ...; return foo.apply(a, b); or even int a = ..., b = ...; Operator foo = ...; return a foo.convertToOperator() b; But as far as I've seen, I don't think it's possible to return an operator or function (at least, not without using some 3rd-party library). Any suggestions?

  • Avoiding SQL Injection in SQL query with Like Operator using parameters?

    Taking over some code from my predecessor and I found a query that uses the Like operator: SELECT * FROM suppliers WHERE supplier_name like '%'+name+%'; Trying to avoid SQL Injection problem and parameterize this but I am not quite sure how this would be accomplished. Any suggestions ? note, I need a solution for classic ADO.NET - I don't really have the go-ahead to switch this code over to something like LINQ.

So if theres a constructor for string, long and double but no bool how do i have this one line work for all of these support types? If you were to change seq.sort(lambda x,y: cmp(x.xxx, y.xxx)), which is preferable: seq.sort(key=operator.attrgetter('xxx')) or: seq.sort(key=lambda a:a.xxx) I would also be interested in comments on the merits of making changes to existing code that works.
