    I have php script on hosting, which receive big data with ajax/post. Just now, after some works on hosting, I see that script is broken. I checked with curl: file temp1: user_avatar=&user_baner=&user_sig=.... 237 chars total, and curl -H "X-Requested-With: XMLHttpRequest" -X POST --data @temp1 'http://host/mypage.php' works perfect. But with file temp2: name=%D0%9C%D0%B5%D0%B1%%B5%D0%BB%D1%8C%D0%A4%%B0%D0%B1%D1%80%D0%B8%D0%BA%D1%8A&user_payed=0000-00-00&...positions%5B5231%5D=on total chars: 65563 curl -H "X-Requested-With: XMLHttpRequest" -X POST --data @temp2 'http://host/mypage.php' curl return nothing. Looks like a problem with apache/php/php.ini or something like that. I check .htaccess php_value post_max_size 20M Which other parameters I should check? Is it possible that %BO encode kill php/apache? Or total number of parameters (about 2800) ?

    I'm using myphpadmin to manage the databases and I'm new to SQL in general. Am I suppose to keep an open anonymous user on localhost so things like drupal can access mySQL? It seems like having a non-passworded root on my server's hostname is retarded but I don't know what I'm doing with this in general. The user who's name starts with a b is the one I use to login and do things like make a database.

  • Customize autoindent settings in VIMRC file

    I have autoindent enabled in my .vimrc file but have run into an annoying bug/feature. For example, when I'm tabbed in 3 times, and I hit return, the new line is also tabbed in 3 times. Then when I hit enter again, that new line is also indented 3 times, as it should. The problem occurs when I go back up to the previous line (the first of the 2 new lines). VIM automatically removes the whitespace because it saw it as an empty line. Is there a way to disable this from happening? I'd like to be able to back to coding like this: function test(){ <return> <return> } <up> <right> Thanks!

    Hello All, I am banging my head against the wall on this one. I followed the MX setup tutorials for Google Mail and it didn't work. Currently, after deleting those records and adding the ones google suggested I have domain.com. 86400 IN MX 10 ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.com. domain.com. 86400 IN MX 20 ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.com. domain.com. 86400 IN MX 20 ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.com. domain.com. 86400 IN MX 30 ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.com. domain.com. 86400 IN MX 30 ASPMX5.GOOGLEMAIL.com. domain.com. 86400 IN MX 30 ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.com. domain.com. 86400 IN MX 30 ASPMX4.GOOGLEMAIL.com. according to the output of my dig command for my particular "domain". I can send email from google apps mail but I can not recieve any email. It gives me the following error: Technical details of permanent failure: Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 #5.1.0 Address rejected [email protected] Now I already tried following the slicehost MX article instructions straight as well and they did not work out for me. The domain has already been verified by google and it says the email is activated from their end. Any help would be appreciated : )

  • Nginx, HAproxy, Unicorn, Rails and Node settings

    Our application is currently only a "regular" web app, with no fancy things like streaming HTTP or websockets. It's mostly a Rails app, served by a few (20 on 2 machines) Unicorn workers, proxied by a venerable nginx server which deals with load balancing. This has been working quite well for the past year and the app now serves between 400 and 800 requests per second at any point during the day. We're soon releasing 2 new APIs, which are both served by a Node application : a websocket one, as well as a long polling HTTP one. (the fancy thing like the Twitter streaming API where HTTP connections never end). They both use the same port on node and since the node app is stateless, we can certainly deploy a few of them to handle the traffic. The app (node) is now deployed in 5 instances and are now listening on 5 different 'private' ports on the same host. We need to put something in front of them to load balance, but also something that is able to deal with sockets (either websocket or HTTP streaming) which are intended to stay 'up' for days. The question is then : what? I read somewhere that HAProxy does a better job than Nginx at this. What do you recommend?

However, the server address that the server returns with autodiscover is wrong, as it points to the internal domain (.local) - and not the external address. How do I change this? Here's an image to describe what I mean: It is the upper field that is wrong. I dont want users to enable the RPC over HTTP-thing, as the users know barely nothing about computers. Every time I run this app, a popup appears asking if I want to allow it access to the network, even though I've got it added in the application list for allowed apps.     We have 2 XP pro VMs (Citrix) that both have problems with logout prompts appearing during logout. Users are closing the rdc before these appear: The Microsoft solution involves the creation of the KeepProgressLevel registry entry along with a value of 1 for "pause on errors." I have implemented this across the domain for this problem, yet these 2 VM's continue to have the prompts. Today, I experimented by changing the KeepProgressLevel option to 0. This is not one of the options given by MS, yet I stopped getting the prompts. Can anyone tell me what I've done by setting the value to 0? Have I basically turned off the feature as if the KeepProgressLevel entry is gone? If so, why no more prompts? I did notice during logoff that there is a red x and error message, yet no prompt.

  • TeamViewer: How to disable color dithering for low-bit-depth screen settings

    I am using Terminal Services and TeamViewer a lot to access other computers, partly over slow networks. The problem described below is not affected by which of the two remote access services I am using. When accessing Windows 7 Professional machines, a great deal of text is hard to read as the background is dithered. Even for exactly the same colors, Windows 2003 does not seem to dither at all, but to choose the closest available color. I strongly prefer the latter, as I don't care for the exact colors, I just want to be able to read easily. I am not sure whether this is operating system-related. The programs on the remote systems do not allow me to change the color choices for the various backgrounds to anything sane. Is there a way to disable this color dithering using some target operating system setting that will do the trick for both Terminal Services and TeamViewer?

    Hi Guys, AMD PC Motherboard - ASUS M3A78-EM (installed VGA drivers from ASUS website - AMD_VGA_V863200_XPVistaWin7.zip) It has VGA and HDMI inbuilt ports (ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics 256MB) VGA is connected to my ViewSonic Monitor. HDMI is connected to LG LCD TV OS - Windows 7 x64 Ultimate Sometimes, when I reboot/start my PC, my ViewSonic display resolution changes and does not show the recommended value(1440x900) in Resolution Settings. The HDMI display works well always. But after multiple reboots/starts, the problem gets fixed automatically and I get back my recommended resolution on ViewSonic display. I am not making any changes to the existing drivers. It sometimes work well, and sometimes doesn't work. Can someone assist me resolving this permanently.

    from what i can gather the mailbox bit of the web interface works fine.. when any of the users go to options (top right) and try to use some of the features such as the Organise Mail Delivery Reports to find messages etc... it comes up with a message ..   • Outlook Web Access, reverse proxy and browser

    Hi SF'ers! We recently moved an exchange server behind a reverse proxy due to the loss of a public IP. I've managed to configure the reverse proxy (httpd proxy_http). But there is a problem for the SSL configuration. When accessing the OWA interface with Firefox, all is ok and working. When accessing with MSIE or Chrome, they do not retrieve the good SSL Certificate. I think this is due to the multiples virtual host for httpd. Is there a workaround to make sure MSIE/Chrome request the certificate for the good domain name like FF does?     I have an Ubuntu 12.04 server virtual box where basically the installed software and configuration are the default ones, plus the installation of a jetty 6 server which servers a few websites. To keep things simple I didn't install apache httpd and used iptables for exposing jetty (which runs on the 8080 port) to the port 80. This thing works, but sometimes I have an explosion of sockets that stay permanently in CLOSE_WAIT state. I know about what this state means, but since I didn't write the code that manages servlets (they are handled by jetty) I can't fix the problem by patching my code. Eventually the amount of CLOSE_WAIT sockets builds up and makes the server not responsive, so I have to restart jetty. I've looked around for similar problems wth CLOSE_WAIT, and only found cases related to the programmer's code, or problems with Tomcat, not Jetty. I was wondering whether they could be related to a partially broken iptables configuration (the alternative is a bug in Jetty 6, but I first want to exclude other possible causes). Thanks.

    I am building a SaaS product. When a user signs up for an account they must select an alias for their site --------.getlaunchpoint.com. Right now I have an A record *.getlaunchpoint.com that points to the ip address server. However, with Azure I am not given an IP address. The suggested implementation is to make use of a CNAME. I need to create a CNAME for *.getlaunchpoint.com - getlaunchpoint.cloudapp.net GoDaddy does not support CNAME wildcards. Searching on Google I'm getting conflicting information... is CNAME wildcard a bad practice? I run into the same problem with Amazon EC2 if I want to make use of load balancers because you cannot tie a public IP address to an Amazon Load Balancer. Amazon also suggests the use of a CNAME. Any help would be appreciated.

Since, I want to do it regularly I need some batch file code or program to alter this settings in a click or using shortcut keys. The reason I am doing this because I want to change my screen to black and white from color since b/w will make my eyes less tired then a colored display.   • Is there an application that can automatically set Graphics Properties when docking?

    I have a dual display setup with my laptop (Dell, with integrated graphics, WinXP). The problem is that whenever I hook up the laptop to the monitor I have to go to Graphics Properties (Intel Graphics Media Driver for Mobile) and set the display resolution, window position, etc. Note that this screen is different than the built-in one you usually see in WinXP. 1) Is there an app that can save display settings properly so they will come back when I dock again? 2) Barring this, run a script or a macro to automatically set up the display the way I want it. 3) Or, can I write a .Net program that does this for me? Extra points if there is an Open source app that can do this.

    Possible Duplicate: How do I sync grouped Windows Store apps between devices? Is there a way for me to copy/save/transfer my "start menu" configuration, meaning the grouping and ordering of the elements on the Start screen, between user profiles? Is it in the registry? I am open to manual or "coded" suggestions. UPDATE: I'd like to VETO this closing. I am aware of the "roaming" profile behavior. I want to COPY my configuration BETWEEN profiles on the same machine.... DIFFERENT profile DIFFERENT person. I like the way my start screen is set up. i want to set my wife up with the same layout.
