  • XSLT: Get node where one certain value is present

    Hi there I have the following XML: <data> <page id="1118"> <itms> <values> <value>1104</value> </values> </itms> </page> <page id="1177"> <itms> <values> <value>1273</value> <value>1215</value> </values> </itms> </page> </data> I need to get the @id from the < page , where a certain value is present in one of the < value -tags. The id that need to be in the < value is kept in this: $itm/@id. This means that if my $itm/@id is equal to 1273, I need to get 1177 returned. I'm not quite sure how to achieve this. Actually I could have XML that looks like this as well: <data> <page id="1118"> <itms> <values> <value>1104</value> </values> </itms> </page> <page id="1177"> <itms> <values> <value>1273</value> <value>1215</value> </values> </itms> </page> <page id="1352"> <itms> <values> <value>1242</value> <value>1273</value> </values> </itms> </page> </data> If that's the case, I need the latest id, so this means that if the $itm/@id matches values in more < page 's, then I need to grab the value from the latest page. I the above case that would be 1352. Hope this makes sense to you guys. And by the way, I work with Umbraco CMS if that does any difference. Best Regards, Kim

    i have a deeply nested structure (actually parsing out xhtml, so lots of nasty), like so: <tr> <td> <font id="blah"> stuff </font> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> more stuff </td> </tr> and this repeats in a long table. i need an xpath expression that will select the second font tag (or rather it's text()). i was looking at the preceding-sibling axis, but something isn't quite working right. something along the lines of (and pardon me if this is ridiculous, my xpath is rusty) //tr[preceding-sibling::tr/td/font/b]/td/text()

    Hi there, guys. I would really appreciate to get your help on this, as I can't seem to detect and solve the problem I'm having with an AJAX functionality on a site that I'm currently developing. I have a webform that makes an asynchronous call to a handler (.ashx) that delivers a XML response that is later processed by a Javascript client-side function that places it's contents into the user-interface. I'm attaching an example of the response generated by my handler, and what I would like to know is how can I get all the <body> element innerHTML (with the text and child nodes) contents to append it to a <span> element on the user-interface.     my script.php returns this XML <all> <item> <field1>value1</field1> <field2>value2</field2> </item> <item> <field1>value1</field1> <field2>value2</field2> </item> </all> The HTTPService uses the default resultFormat="object" but I don't declare it since it's the default. Then I bind it to a List dataProvider="{getDataHTTP.lastResult.all.item}" I get no problems when the number of item returned is more than 1. But when it's only 1 item I get an error cannot convert XMLList to mx.collections.IList. I tried different solutions including trying to cast it as XMLListCollection but it still gives an error for single items. Does anyone know of a way to possibly solve this?

    I have a C# (2008/.NET 3.5) class library assembly that supports WPF (based on http://dotupdate.wordpress.com/2007/12/05/how-to-add-a-wpf-control-library-template-to-visual-c-express-2008/). I've created several windows, and am now attempting to create a common style set for them. However, as it's a class library (instead of a WPF app), I don't have an app.xaml (and its contained Application & corresponding Application.Resources) in which to store these styles for global access. So: How can I create a top-level set of style definitions that'll be seen by all xaml files in the assembly, given that I do not have app.xaml (see above)? And/or is it possible to add a working app.xaml to a class library? FYI, I did try creating a ResourceDictionary in a ResourceDictionary.xaml file, and include it in each window within a "Window.Resources" block. That turned out to solve the styling of Buttons, etc... but not for the enclosing Window. I can put 'Style="{StaticResource MyWindowStyle}"' in the Window's opening block, and it compiles and shows up in the VS Design window fine, but during actual runtime I get a parse exception (MyWindowStyle could not be found; I'm guessing Visual Studio sees the dictionary included after the line in question, but the CRL does things more sequentially and therefore hasn't loaded the ResourceDictionary yet).

    Hello, I want to create a website where the main pages will be served from CodeIgniter. I will use Wordpress in the /blog/ sub-directory to host the blog. Thats it! I want nothing else. Just to make sure that: example.com/somepage/ calls a CI controller where as example.com/blog/some-post/ is handled by Wordpress.   • asp.net and Visual studio root directory question

    I am seeing something very odd and thought I would ask the Stackoverflow community if they knew the answer. I have an asp.net project that runs fine in one environment, but couldn't figure out what happened to the styles in another environment. In the first environment (Windows 2008 Server), the following link worked fine: <link href="/Styles/09/style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> but in the other environment (it's a Windows 7), I had to change it to work: <link href="../Styles/09/style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> Notice that the directories seemed to shift ahead one directory in the Win7, what's going on? It's like the "running" directory seems now be the \bin directory instead of the home! Which environment is configured correctly? How do I determine execution directory level? My concern going forward is pushing to a prod environment and guessing which configuration is correct. Any insight would be appreciated!

    Hey guys, I have been working on a p2p namespace for some of my programs. I created a system to encrypt/decrypt the packets send/received with the class. I was using the basic public private key system: 1) encrypt the data with Symmetric encryption 2) encrypt the symmetric key with RSA. Then do the opposite when you decrypted.. I was wondering though, how would you verify if the packet was coming from where it said it was. I was going to use a basic certificate system (where you encrypt with your private RSA key, then they decrypt it with your public key), but I don't know how to do this with C#. I am using the RSACryptoServiceProvider class. Does anyone know how do this? Thanks, Max
