• ifstream Open function not working

  I've been all over the ifstream questions here on SO and I'm still having trouble reading a simple text file. I'm working with Visual Studio 2008. The Open method just won't work. I'm also having trouble debugging- should I not be able to set a watch on "infile.good()" or "infile.is_open()"? I keep getting "Error: member function not present." EDIT: Updated code listing with full code from .CPP file. UPDATE: The file was NOT in the Current Working Directory. This is the directory where the project file is located. Moved it there and it works when debugging in VS.NET.

  So I was just trying to setup a basic user authentication in Django and downloaded a django registration app with templates. Now when I run the server at 127.0.0.1:8000/accounts/register/ I get a basic registration page, I fill in the details and when I click submit I get this error "NoReverseMatch at /accounts/register/" Error during template rendering In template Users/sudhasinha/mysite/mysite/registration/templates/registration/activation_email.txt, error at line 4 'url' requires a non-empty first argument.   I am trying to login to a website and grab content from a page you must be authenticated to see. I have done some research and have seen some examples using both cURL and stream_context_create but I cannot get either way to work. I have the url for the page to login to, and the page that contains the data I need to get. Your help is much appreciated! I wonder if I have to write a decorator class that accepts the iterator object as an argument, and define an __exit__ method for it? • Problem with apostrophes and other special characters when using aspell in windows

  Hi there, We seem to be having a problem with the spell checker on our content management system where it marks the ve part of We’ve as a misspelling. The spellchecker uses aspell which is called from a script on the server which executes the cmd.exe and uses it to pipe a file into aspell (it's a long winded way I know, but our server side programming langauge (ColdFusion) doesn't support writing to stdin for executables). Aspell is called by executing: c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe /c type d:\path_to_file\file.txt | "C:\Program Files\Aspell\bin\aspell" --lang=en -a Where file.txt contains the text to be spelled e.g. ^Oh have We’ve (the carat is added to prevent piping problems I believe). In this file, it should execute a SQL command or a SQL file on my database, so I can create an index and see what the performance of that input is, but how do i do it? I create the connection to the database in the reads.py file, but it's hard to create the queries in there because I doesn't keep track of which file it has reached, it just execute commands from what the parameters are. I hope I've explained myself clear enough, otherwise please let me know. I just want to execute a SQL command or file which each query_read_0x.py file. Sincerely Mestika

• Are CMake GLOB and source_group compatible?

  I'm using CMake 2.8.0 (on Windows) with the "Visual Studio 10 Win64" generator. GLOB and source_group don't seem to work together. Is there a way to get this to work?   Hi this is a discussion between me and me to understand isolated storage issue. can you help me to convince me about isolated storage!! This is a code written in windows form app (reader) that read the isolated storage of another win form app (writer) which is signed. where is the security if the reader can read the writer's file, I thought only signed code can access the file! If all .Net applications born equal and have all permissions to access Isolated storage, where is the security then? If I can install and run Exe from isolated storage, why I don't install a virus and run it, I am trusted to access this area. but the virus or what ever will not be trusted to access the rest of file system, it only can access the memory, and this is dangerous enough. I cannot see any difference between using app data folder to save the state and using isolated storage except a long nasty path!! I want to try give low trust to Reader code and retest, but they said "Isolated storage is actually created for giving low trusted application the right to save its state".   On my 100TB cluster, I need to find dirs and files that have a "deny" ACE within their ACL, then remove that ACE on each instance. I guess that would need to be edited somehow. Any guidance on how to accomplish this?

• Using fgets to read strings from file in C

  I am trying to read strings from a file that has each string on a new line but I think it reads a newline character once instead of a string and I don't know why. I suppose I could read a dummy string to absorb that extra blank and then nothing would be shifted, but that doesn't help me understand the problem and avoid in the future.

  When I attempt to open a file to write to I get an Ada.IO_Exceptions.Name_Error. The procedure call is Ada.Text_IO.Open The file name is "C:\CC_TEST_LOG.TXT". This file does not exist. This is on Windows XP on an NTFS partition. The user has permissions to create and write to the directory.   when I Implemented chatting Function , I use Ajax to send messages between file to another . so , it is working well on local host . but , when I upload it in to remote server it doesn't work. can U tell me ,why ? is an Ajax need Special configuration ? there is my files that I used : Ajax .js file witch has "ajax_send" function that i used in chatbox.js file chatbox.js file wich consest of functions i used it to send data from php file to another one and it display the state (any user sign in or new sending message and so on ..) user.php file whitch responseble to write user name in the text file usersonline.txt and then display the online users in the online users column. send.php file that write on room1.text recive.php file that read room1.txt and then write the content into the chat box I beleve that the problem comes from the ajax code in Ajax.js File so please help me find out the problem and how to solve it. is ajax needs special server settings ? because it was working at the local host !

• Reading Data from DDFS ValueError: No JSON object could be decoded

  I'm running dozens of map reduce jobs for a number of different purposes using disco. My data has grown enormous and I thought I would try using DDFS for a change rather than standard txt files. I've followed the DISCO map/reduce example Counting Words as a map/reduce job, without to much difficulty and with the help of others, Reading JSON specific data into DISCO I've gotten past one of my latest problems. I'm trying to read data in/out of ddfs to better chunk and distribute it but am having a bit of trouble.
