    Hello, I've recently started learning PHP, but I have a wide knowledge on C++. I've been wondering how to make a web bot and now, I would greatly like to make one. I won't be using this robot for spamming or anything, just as a test of what PHP/C++ can do online.     Its my first time to use web service in iOS. REST was my first choice and I use code igniter to form it. This URL : http://localhost:8888/restApi/index.php/sample/user always give me an error like this: This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below. <xml> <status/> <error>Unknown method.</error> This is my Users model <?php class Users extends CI_Model { function __construct() { parent::__construct(); } function get_all_users() { $this->load->database(); $query = $this->db->get('users'); return $query->result(); } function insertAUser(){ $this->load->database(); $data = array('name'=> "Sample Name", 'age'=>"99"); $this->db->insert('users', $data); } } ?> What is the work around for my _put method why am I not inserting anything? Here is my question though, This will enable me to program and test through localhost. How can I set this up so anyone on the web can access my .php pages from any Internet capable device, and they will still interact with my local database, etc?

    Hello It seems the most common aproach to web design is to use HTML/XHTML & CSS in conjunction with other technologies or languages like Javascript or PHP. On a theoretical level, I'm interested to know what other languages or technologies could be used to build an entire site without using a single HTML tag or CSS style for styling/positioning? Could a website be made only using XML or PHP alone, including actual styling and positioning? Presumably Flash sites are till embedded in HTML tags? Thanks

    Is there any recent developments in web based printing? I know using @media print in CSS, PDF based solution or iTextSharp but they are not really easy (except @media print) but alignment is little tricky if receipt contains barcodes or if I have to format for A5 etc., Is there anything new in HTML5 which will support this? I would like to print receipts from a Django based webapplication. Any tips? Thanks.

The state of the week will be saved as a 'varbinary' with a length of 168 which will represent every hour of everyday of a week.
