  • EBCDIC to ASCII conversion. Out of bound error. In C#.

    I tried creating a EBCDIC to ASCII convector in C# using this general conversion order(given below). Basically the program converted from ASCII to the equivalent integer and from there into EDCDIC using the order below. Now when I try compiling this in C# and try giving a EBCDIC string(got this from another file from another computer) it is showing 'Out of Bound' exception for some of the EBCDIC character. Why is this like this?? Is it about formating?? or C# ?? or windows? Extra: I tried just printing out all the ASCII and EBCDIC characters using a loop from 0..255 numbers but still its not showing many of the EBCDIC characters.     Is there any function in Objective-C to print a list of elements as unordered HTML elements. For ex - [@"a--b-c---d" htmlList: @"--"] returns @ "ab-c-d" the "--" is the delimiter to seperate the string of elements. I have used NSSArray to store the input string and function componentsSeperatedByString:@"--" to get the elements. How do I go ahead in adding the HTML tags li and /li between elements and ul and /ul at the end of the entire list? Please help, Im a beginner in objective -C

It's hard to put together a natural-sounding sentence to describe an item without using "a" or "an" - "a house is BIG", "an exclamation point is SMALL", etc. Is there any function, library, or hack i can use in PHP to determine whether it is more appropriate to describe any given noun with A or AN?

    I cannot see this behavior in JBoss 4.2.3. If I try to call addCookie() on HttpServletResponse and my cookie value has accented characters in it (ex. ç) I get this exception: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Control character in cookie value, consider BASE64 encoding your value Does anyone know what change in JBoss 5.1.0 could be causing these problems?

    array_key_exists is not working for large multidimensional array. For ex $arr=array( '1'=>10, '2'=>array('21'=>21, '22'=>22, '23'=>array('test'=>100, '231'=>231), ), '3'=>30, '4'=>40 ); array_key_exists('test',$arr) returns 'false' but it works with some simple arrays.
