I'd like to have some tool which analyzes the source code and produces some graphviz-like drawing and allows me to follow dependencies.     For some reason this function confused me: def protocol(port): return port == "443" and "https://" or "http://" Can somebody explain the order of what's happening behind the scenes to make this work the way it does. I understood it as this until I tried it: Either A) def protocol(port): if port == "443": if bool("https://"): return True elif bool("http://"): return True return False Or B) def protocol(port): if port == "443": return True + "https://" else: return True + "http://" Is this some sort of special case in Python, or am I completely misunderstanding how statements work?

    I know that the static objects in .Net managed world are loaded in Loader Heap which is never going to be garbage collected. What happens to the instance reference parameters passed to a static methods. Are they get garbage collected once the static function executed completely Or they are going to live forever as those instance reference variables are once passed to static method?     I'm bit confused. I've been building my sites with my own session system, but i'm not sure how secure the php's own session system is. My session system usually just has user id and quite harsh hash, which does not include user name or password for generation. I save the hash in the user database and as a cookie to confirm the user session on every page load. So my question is should i keep using my own systems or try out php sessions?
