  Every week I keep wondering if there’s going to be enough activity in the community to keep doing these notes on a weekly basis and every week I’m reminded of just how awesome and active the XNA community is. There’s engines being made, tutorials being created, games being crafted.   Until few month ago i've been using IIS 6 where i could add different Default Documents to each websites which are physically same directory. Since II7 which adds Default Document value to web config i couldn't use such technique as web.config was changed for all the directory. • Is it possible to set Transmission to show list of files as collapsed by default?

  When downloading a torrent with a large folder hierarchy, I often find myself losing overview of the content of the torrent as Transmission shows the entire folder structure expanded under Properties > Files. Most annoyingly, if one collapses the tree and closes the dialog, the tree will be expanded again if one re-access it. Is it somehow possible to set Transmission to show torrent content as collapsed by default?

  I had hoped that solaar would help, but it seems to only work for the Logitech wireless devices that use Logitech's proprietary scheme. I have Bluetooth keyboard (K760). I know it can be told to use the function keys (rather than the media keys) by default because I can do it on under OS X with software from Logitech. Just remapping the keys won't work as F1, F2, and F3 are special in that they switch which Bluetooth device I connect to and the keys are not sent to the OS.

• Will default applications be automatically changed during release upgrade?

  Suppose LibreOffice and Banshee are set to replace OpenOffice and Rhythmbox in Natty Narwhal. Of course doing a fresh install will give me these new applications to be the default ones. However if I choose to upgrade via the update manager, will the old applications be uninstalled and the new ones installed automatically, or do I have to do these manually so that I get the same experience as a fresh install?

SSH connection was refused! This usually happens if the VM failed to boot properly. Some steps to try to fix this: First, try reloading your VM with `vagrant reload`, since a simple restart sometimes fixes things. I assume that I am missing something really simple or I need to do some parsing between source and destination. Any help will be much appreciated :)

I was able to create a VPN connection from another company that has the same internet service provider. The problem begins when I'm trying to connect from another ISP like Orange or Telekom. ASP.NET Menu control offers many possibilities, but together with jQuery, you can make very rich, interactive menu accompanied with animations and effects. • Best way to merge two identical ASPNET web sites?

  We have two websites which only diference is in the design (Diferent images, styles, layouts..etc) but the web structure of files and cs code is the same so we want to simplify its manteinance... The actual structure would be: DefaultA.aspx DefaultA.aspx.cs DefaultB.aspx DefaultB.aspx.cs LoginA.aspx LoginA.aspx.cs LoginB.aspx LoginB.aspx.cs One idea would be changing the design differencies at runtime depending of the origin website, but we dont like much this because performance, abstraction in designing them and url confusion... Another one is sharing the cs (both aspx inheriting and using the same cs) file but we never have done or seen it done in any website before so we wonder if its a good aproach... What do you think? Any other way better in terms of performance vs development-ease?

• Default shell for running scripts (w/o shebang) in macos?

  I have ZSH as default shell in MacOS, everything is working fine. ZSH is installed as brew package, Ive set default shell in my account, new shell is listed in /etc/shells... everything is set, like I've said. I have some shell scripts in which I use some commands from zsh, like print. When I execute the script from command line, the print command is not recognized and the script fails. This script does not have the shebang line. When I put the shebang line for zsh, then everything works; the print command is working. Since I am using only ZSH, is it possible to set default shell for running scripts, so I don't have to put shebang line in my .zsh scripts? Or is it possible to associate .zsh extension to ZSH shell execution?

• Is there a way to modify the default size of a new side note in OneNote 2010?

  I am a fan of OneNote, but there is one aspect of it that makes it less useful than it could be. When I make a new side note (i.e. by clicking the OneNote icon in the system tray or pressing WindowsKey + N), the size of the window of the resulting note that opens is far too large. It probably takes up 20% of my reasonably high-res screen by default. I have to click and drag to resize it, and that's a waste of my time. So, I have a two part question: Is there a way of modifying some settings somewhere (perhaps in the registry?) so that the default window size of a new side note is smaller than the default? I would prefer something more in line with the size of a new "sticky" note in OS X. If not, does anyone know of a fast way to shrink the size of a window using the keyboard? I'd appreciate any advice that anyone can give. Thanks.

  I have two subnets routed to my server from ISP. I have only one gateway ip. The gateway is on the same VLAN as my IP address. For example netowrk 1 is 1.0.0.0/24 and network 2 is 2.0.0.0/24. Both are routed to eth0 by my ISP. Gateway is 1.0.0.1. My host ip is 2.0.0.1/24 (eth0) So I can configure default gateway manually with ip route add default dev eth0 ip route add default via 1.0.0.1 and then internet connection works properly. How do I configure it in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 ? I tried to set GATEWAY=1.0.0.1 but it doesn't work. Tried to set GATEWAY and GATEWAYDEV in /etc/sysconfig/network and it does only what first command from listing above do.
