  • Simple, Custom Parsing with c++

    Hi! I have been reading SO for some time now, but I truly cannot find any help for my problem. I have a c++ assignment to create an IAS simulator. Here is some sample code... 0 1 a 1 2 b 2 c 3 1 10 begin 11 . load a, subtract b and offset by -1 for jump+ 11 load M(0) 12 sub M(1) 13 sub M(3) 14 halt Using c++, I need to be able to read these lines and store them in a "memory register" class that I already have constructed... For example, the first line would need to store "1 a" in register zero. How can I parse out the number at the line beginning and then store the rest as a string? I have setup storage using a class that is called using mem.set(int, string);. int is the memory location at the beginning of the line and string is the stored instruction.

    Is it possible to specify VNC port number in built-in VNC client of Mac OS X? I'm trying to connect to Xen VPS machine with Finder's built-in VNC client. I used address like this. vnc://server:port But it fails because it uses another port, and Finder's built-in VNC cannot handle port number. As I know it handles the number after colon as display-number, not a port number. Is there a way to specify port number on the VNC client? Or any workaround for this? (port forwarding??? I have no idea about it...)

  • Firefox: How to get my home page in new tabs, instead of the recent sites 'tiles' thing :(

    In Firefox 25 (running on Windows 7), I have the following Startup settings: When Firefox starts = 'Show my home page' Home Page = (URL of the site I want) So when I click on the Home button, I get the right page. That's all good. However, when I open a new tab, I get the 'recently visited websites tiles' screen, i.e. this: Screenshot. How do I get Firefox to show my Home Page in new tabs as well?? Note: when I open a new Window, it works OK. I'm getting the Home Page there. The problem is just with New Tab!

  • Join two tables with same # of row but sorted for NULL

    I need to join two tables with the same number of rows. Each table has 1 column. There is NO CONNECTING COLUMN to reference for a join. I need to join them side by side because each table was sorted separately so that numeric values are at the top in descinding order. The Table Earners has income values from say 200K down to 0. I cannot just select using 2 cases, because then I will have my first row with Incomes above 100K, but the first 20 or so entries in the second row are NULL. I want the second row to also be sorted descending. I looked up using ORDER BY within CASE but there is no such thing. I have tried to read about row_number() but none of the examples seem to match or make sense. drop table #20plus select case when Income >= 20000 AND Income < 100000 then Income end as 'mula' into #20plus from Earners order by mula desc drop table #100plus select case when Income >= 100000 then Income end as 'dinero' into #100plus from Earners order by dinero desc Select A.dinero, B.mula FROM #100plus as A JOIN #20plus as B ON A.????? = B.????? I tried to find equivalent of function that would give me file name (under File column) if I know disk number. Any idea which function that might be?

    I wrote a T-SQL query which includes a test for valid EmployeeNo. If the EmployeeNo is not valid, I do the following: RAISERROR(5005, 10, 1, N'Invalid Employee No') return @@Error Back in VB.Net I test the sql exception and found that when the Employee No is invalid the error.number is not 5005 as I would expect, but 2732. What is the explanation for this? Thank you.
