  • cvs to mercurial conversion gets tags wrong

    I've tried all the recommended conversion techniques Mostly they manage to get the latest version of the files right, but every one of them trashes my history. Many (most?) of the tags from my cvs project have at least one file in error when I run "hg up $tag" My cvs repo is not all that complicated. Why can't anything convert it? I'd like to dump cvs and convert to mercurial, but not without history. To recap my frustration: I tried hg convert (tried --branchsort,--timesort, fuzz=0) I tried cvs2svn and then hg convert. tailor does not work with recent versions of mercurial fromcvs disappeared from the face of the earth hg-cvs-import has been abandoned for 4 years and doesn't work with recent versions of hg I have tried using the two most recent versions of mercurial ( 1.5 and 1.5.1 ).

  • Daemon program that uses select() inside infinite loop uses significantly more CPU when ported from

    I have a daemon app written in C and is currently running with no known issues on a Solaris 10 machine. I am in the process of porting it over to Linux. I have had to make minimal changes. During testing it passes all test cases. There are no issues with its functionality. However, when I view its CPU usage when 'idle' on my Solaris machine it is using around .03% CPU. On the Virtual Machine running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.8 that same process uses all available CPU (usually somewhere in the 90%+ range). My first thought was that something must be wrong with the event loop. The event loop is an infinite loop ( while(1) ) with a call to select(). The timeval is setup so that timeval.tv_sec = 0 and timeval.tv_usec = 1000. This seems reasonable enough for what the process is doing. As a test I bumped the timeval.tv_sec to 1. Even after doing that I saw the same issue. Is there something I am missing about how select works on Linux vs. Unix? Or does it work differently with and OS running on a Virtual Machine? Or maybe there is something else I am missing entirely? One more thing I am sure sure which version of vmware server is being used. It was just updated about a month ago though. Thanks.

Page.ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptBlock(typeof(Page), "showVideo", sScript, true); is appending to body but js codes are always requesting some js files didn't load or some functions are below of the script.     Hello, I have the following Groovy+SwingBuilder code. In one panel I generate checkboxes and in another panel I want to access the values of the checkboxes. When I press "show values" I get an error message: org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.typehandling.GroovyCastException: Cannot cast object 'foo' with class 'java.lang.String' to class 'java.lang.Class' How could I access the checkboxes for my action in the second panel by using the checkbox ids from optionsmap?   • PHP PDO SQL Server Select statement not replacing question marks

    Awhile ago I wrote a database class which uses PDO in order to connect to SQL Server databases and also to MySQL databases. It has always replaced the question marks fine when using it on the MySQL databases, but for the SQL Server database I had to create a work around which basically replaces the question marks manually. Here is the code for that. if($this->getPDODriver() == 'odbc' && !empty($values_a) && substr_count($query_s, "?") > 0) { $query_s = preg_replace(array_fill(0, substr_count($query_s, "?"), '/\?/'), $values_a, $query_s, 1); $values_a = NULL; } Now, I understand that this completely defeats the purpose of the question marks and PDO, but it has been working fine for me. What I would like to do now though, is find out why the question marks are not getting replaced in the first place, and remove this workaround. If I have a select statement like the following SELECT * FROM database WHERE value = ? That is what the query looks like when I go to prepare it, but when I display the query results, it is a blank array. Just remember, this class is working fine with MySQL, and it is working fine with the work around above. So I know it has something to do with the question marks.

    A html page has paging links, 1 set at the top of the page and another on the bottom of the page. Using HtmlUnit, I am currently getting the HtmlAnchor on the page using getByAnchorText("1"); There is a problem in some of the links on the top, so I want to reference the bottom links using XPath. nextPageAnchor = (HtmlAnchor) page.getByXPath(""); How can I reference the 2nd link on the page, with using xpath? I need to reference the link using the AnchorText, so a link like: <a href="....">33</a> The href has random text, and is a javascript function so I have no idea what it will be. Is this possible with xpath?

  • ObjectDataSource.Select with Parameters Time Out

    I'm using an ObjectDataSource with a 2008 ReportViewer control and Linq to CSV. The ODS has two parameters (the SQL is spelled out in an XSD file with a table adapter). The Reportviewer takes a very long time to render the output after a button is clicked to generate the report. That's my first problem. Even though it works (most of the time), the processing time worries me, and subsequent requests don't seem to be changing the results shown on the screen. The next issue is that when I go to export the ODS to CSV I'm getting a time out exception on the select method of the ODS (shown below). This works for ODS without parameters, but it seems like now that I've added parameters that it doesn't want to cooperate.   • Help needed in Javascript + Image + HREF

    Hi, <a href="#"><img src="http://www.google.com/intl/en_ALL/images/logo.gif" onClick="alert('hi')"/></a> In the above code, i am appending a javascript onclick method to the image tag. When I click the image once and I press back, it should go back to the page it came from. Instead its staying on the same page. Is there any way I can avoid that? (probably set something else instead of href="#"). The reason I set href="#" is to make my cursor turn into hand, other than that it has no use. This is occuring in FIREFOX, IE it works fine Please help. Thanks.

    I would like to create a non-VBA based solution to the following question: How do I create a multi-series chart that will allow a user to select from a dropdown to change the data being graphed? I can do this already when the data series is contiguous; however, I'd like to be able to do it for non-contiguous data. Is this possible? Also, I was getting an error: cannot convert IEnumerable to bool. I've read several questions about performing a linq query on a list of arrays, but I can't quite get what is going wrong with this. Any help? Edit Apologies for not being clear in my intentions with the implementation. I intend to select the DrawObject that currently contains the mouse location.

However, whenever I put anything between that text it gets converted into a tag: &lt;xxx&gt; converts to <xxx></xxx> How do I stop that?I am trying to enter sample HTML into TinyMCE so I can document some XML. There must be a standard way of doing this I imagine.
