  I've read about the ReSharper external sources feature in ReSharper 5. But when attempting to use it on a .NET 4.0 project, but my attempts to make it work / use it have failed. Whenever I attempt to navigate to "Sources from Symbol Files" - I just get the message that the symbols are not available. Are the debug symbols for .NET 4 not released yet or are they placed somewhere else? It works fine and downloads the proper symbols for .NET 3.5 projects.

• How to link latest stable version of libCURL using vc++2010

  On 2 separate machines in completely different environments (work, home) I've been unable to compile libCURL out of the box. Running nmake -f Makefile.vc mode=dll VC=10, I get an unresolved external symbol errors for _IdnToAscii and _IdnToUnicode. I believe the definitions are in Normaliz.lib, which is referenced in LFLAGS, but it either isn't finding it or the version I have doesn't have those functions. But I don't see any option to download this file...anyone have a good solution short of commenting out the 2 lines that use these functions?

  I'm trying to pass in both the field and the value in a find call: @employee = Employee.find(:all, :conditions => [ '? = ?', params[:key], params[:value].to_i) The output is SELECT * FROM `employees` WHERE ('is_manager' = 1) Which returns no results, however when I try this directly in mysqsl using the same call without the '' around is_manager, it works fine. My algorithm looks like: s = len(text) P = 1.0/s freqs = {} for char in text: try: freqs[char]+=P except: freqs[char]=P but I doubt that this dictionary-method is fast enough, because it depends on the underlying implementation of the dictionary methods. Is this the fastest method?
