    I want to build an upload-centric app using Django. One way to do this is with nginx's upload module (nonblocking) but it has its problems. Node.js is supposed to be a good candidate for this type of application. But how can I make node.js act as an upload_handler() for Django (http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/1.1/topics/http/file-uploads/#modifying-upload-handlers-on-the-fly) I'm not sure where to look for examples?

  • Chaining IQueryables together

    I have a RIA Services based app that is using Entity Framework on the server side (possibly not relevant). In my real app, I can do something like this. EntityQuery<Status> query = statusContext.GetStatusesQuery().Where(s => s.Description.Contains("Foo")); Where statusContext is the client side subclass of DomainContext that RIA Services was kind enough to generate for me. The end result is an EntityQuery<Status> object who's Query property is an object that implements IQueryable and represents my where clause. The WebDomainClient is able to take this EntityQuery and not just give me back all of my Statuses but also filtered with my where clause. I am trying to implement this in a mock DomainClient. This MockDomainClient accepts an IQueryably<Entity> which it returns when asked for. But what if the user makes the query and includes the ad hoc additional query? How can I merge the two together?   • Zoom to fit region for all annotations - ending up zooming in between annotations

I have a problem with fitting all my annotations to the screen... sometimes it shows all annotations, but some other times the app is zooming in between the two annotations so that none of them are visible...   • ERROR_SEM_TIMEOUT when using WinUSB WritePipe

    I often get ERROR_SEM_TIMEOUT errors using the WinUSB WritePipe function. This would seem to indicate that there is a timeout, but if I wait a period of time and try again I'm never able to write. I'm writing in 64 byte chucks to the USB device and often don't have problems. Once I start getting the error, I may have to unplug the usb and and close my app before trying again. Has anybody experienced this problem?

    I have a UIImageView that starts off with an image (loading.png) specified in IB. When my app starts, a new image is downloaded from the internet to replace the existing one. I do the following to replace the image: if(object.imageView.image != nil){ [object.imageView.image release]; object.imageView.image = nil; } object.imageView.image = [UIImage imageNamed:@"downloadedimage.png"]; Is this the right way to re-set an image? I am getting EXC_BAD_ACCESS when doing so.

    When I create a form and add a WebBrowser control to it and have it navigate to http://www.adobe.com/flashplatform the flash area says I need Adobe Flash Player installed. This is already installed in IE, but apparently not in the WebBrowser control. Is there are way to have the WebBrowser control run flash without having to manually go to the flash site and install. Flash is already installed the normal IE browser, just not the WebBrowser control in the forms app.
