    What I want to do: The report parameter that the user can select from is a subset of the data available in a dimension. I have a query to retrieve this subset and it works fine. I am then trying to use the selection as a filter in a dataset. In the dataset properties, you can add a parameter based on the ones you have specified on the report, but when you look in the filters pane, there seems to be no way to select this. If I try and select something in there, it creates a whole new parameter and dataset. How can I get a dataset to consume and filter by a parameter that the user has selected?

    I got a HttpResponse.Filter filter that replaces text in the HTML. I've created a class that derives from Stream and implemented the Write method: public override void Write(byte[] buffer, int offset, int count) I read all bytes from buffer and store them in a private StringBuilder, then I replace the text, and write the string back to the Stream. But how can I determine when the stream is at the end of the stream. I.e. how do I determine when to write back the html (string) to the stream?

    I have a table (that relates to a number of other tables) where I would like to filter ONE of the columns (RequesterID) - that column will be a combobox where only people that are not sales people should be selectable. Here is the "unfiltered" query, lets call it QUERY 1: SELECT RequestsID, RequesterID, ProductsID FROM dbo.Requests If using a separate query, lets call it QUERY 2, to filter RequesterID (which is a People related column, connected to People.PeopleID), it would look like this: SELECT People.PeopleID FROM People INNER JOIN Roles ON People.RolesID = Roles.RolesID INNER JOIN Requests ON People.PeopleID = Requests.RequesterID WHERE (Roles.Role <> N'SalesGuy') ORDER BY Requests.RequestsID Now, is there a way of "merging" the QUERY 2 into QUERY 1? (dbo.Requests in QUERY 1 has RequesterID populated as a Foreign Key from dbo.People, so no problem there... The connections are all right, just not know how to write the SQL query!)

    Hi, in Drupal I have used CCK to add a datetime field to my custom data type. It inserts start date and end date fields. That is what I want. Now, I want Views to filter and show only the items that have the daterange (start date and end date) overlapping today's date. Any ideas on how to set it up on Views? What I think is strange is that the date fields of my custom content type don't seem to appear on the Views list when I am trying to add a filter. Thanks.

I wanted to filter the rows to get only the minimum number in the second column. This fixed it: SELECT id, min((tbl2.date_modified - tbl1.date_submitted)/86400), max(some_value) FROM tbl1, tbl2, tbl3 WHERE tbl1.id = tbl2.fid AND tbl1.id = tbl3.fid GROUP BY tbl1.id so I got: 275 72.87368055555555555555555555555555555556 foo 70 113 77.06431712962962962962962962962962962963 foo 80 How can I change it to do the same but not include rows where the are other rows with some_value=90 ?   • Java Security filter together with thickbox pop-ups

    Hi, I have a java application that uses a security filter to protect certain resources. If there is no user logged on, it will keep in session the request path and redirect to a logon page. After a successful logon, user is redirected to the original requested page. I have now added some thickbox (ajax bases pop-up) popups to the application. Unfortunately, when I get now a popup that is "secure" the filter redirects to a logon page (which is not a popup) and makes the whole application messy. Anyone with ideas on how to solve this? So I have the following models: class Team(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length=60) class Game(models.Model): home_team = models.ForeignKey(Team,related_name='home_team') away_team = models.ForeignKey(Team,related_name='away_team') class SeasonStats(models.Model): team = models.ForeignKey(Team) Ok, so my problem is the following. There are a lot of teams, but Stats are just managed for my Club. So if I use "list_display" in the admin backend, I'd like to modify/overwrite the queryset which builds the sidebar for filtering, to just display our home teams as a filter option. Is this somehow possible in Django? I already made a custom form like this class SeasonPlayerStatsAdminForm(forms.ModelForm): team = forms.ModelChoiceField(Team.objects.filter(club__home=True)) So now just the filtering is missing. Any ideas?

    I have a Cursor that returns rows I use with a SimpleCursorAdapter to populate a ListView. I would like to filter some of the rows so they don't get displayed in my ListView. I use the data from the rows elsewhere in my Activity so I don't want to change my SQL to filter them with a WHERE clause. What is the best way to keep a row from being displaying in my ListView? Ideally I would check a column in my row and then only add rows to the ListView that satisfy a condition.

  • Problem with input filter using doxygen 1.6.3 on windows XP

    I am trying to use doxygen to generate documentation for some matlab classes I have written. I am using the doxygen-matlab package, which includes a perl script to kludge matlab .m files into c++ style commented files, so that doxygen can read them. In my doxyfile, I have set (according to the instructions) FILTER_PATTERNS = *m=C:/doxygenMatlab/m2cpp.pl However, when the code runs, rather than running the script on the input files, it appears to just open the script using whatever the default windows setting for .pl is. IE, if I associate .pl with notepad, the script is opened by notepad once for each input file doxygen is trying to parse. If I associate .pl with perl.exe, the script runs and throws the no argument error Argument must contain filename -1 at C:\doxygenMatlab\m2cpp.pl line 4. The doxygen documentation says Doxygen will invoke the filter program by executing (via popen()) the command <filter> <input-file> So I am wondering if there is some problem with popen() and windows that I could fix.

Is this filter drop downs something customizable or is it a feature only available for system entities (like acitivity)? Is this functionality provided because Activity entity have N:1 relationship with Type of Behavior = System? can we provide the same or similar functionality by using Type of behavior = Parental!?!?     Hello: I have two tables with a column 'date'. One holds (name, date) and the other holds (date, p1, p2). Given a name, I want to use the date in table 1 to query p1 and p2 from table two; the match should happen if date in table one is within two seconds of date in table two. How can you accomplish this using SQLAlchemy? I've tried (unsuccessfully) to use the between operator and with a clause like: td = datetime.timedelta(seconds=2) q = session.query(table1, table2).filter(table1.name=='my_name').\ filter(between(table1.date, table2.date - td, table2.date + td)) Any thoughts?

  • Dreamweaver recordset filter - Display all records as default

    I am trying to create a simple search form to filter the results in the dynamic table. The search form is on the same pages as the results and posts to itself. I get the search string from the post variable. It is working, but I can't figure out how to set the default value to display all results. Dreamweaver automatically sets the default value to -1, and therefore no results are displayed on the initial load. How do I change this to display ALL records as default and the filter only if there is search string defined.

    Is there a way in eclipse to filter/hide empty directory trees in the package explorer view? This is different than filtering directories like '.svn' or maven's target, or filtering empty packages. It's more trying to clean up empty directories trees that show up as a result of filter rules. Context- We have a generic project in our workspace that uses filters to ignore non text based files(mp3s, jpgs, etc). It allows us to quickly edit our files in eclipse. The problem is because of the filters there are a lot of empty folders present. If eclipse can ignore any empty folders due to filters it would make the project cleaner.

  • Cleanest way to store lists of filter coefficients in a C header

    I have many (~100 or so) filter coefficients calculated with the aid of some Matlab and Excel that I want to dump into a C header file for general use, but I'm not sure what the best way to do this would be. I was starting out as so: #define BUTTER 1 #define BESSEL 2 #define CHEBY 3 #if FILT_TYPE == BUTTER #if FILT_ROLLOFF == 0.010 #define B0 256 #define B1 512 #define B2 256 #define A1 467 #define A2 -214 #elif FILT_ROLLOFF == 0.015 #define B0 256 #define B1 512 // and so on... However, if I do that and shove them all into a header, I need to set the conditionals (FILT_TYPE, FILT_ROLLOFF) in my source before including it, which seems kinda nasty. What's more, if I have 2+ different filters that want different roll-offs/filter types it won't work. I could #undef my 5 coefficients (A1-2, B0-2) in that coefficients file, but it still seems wrong to have to insert an #include buried in code.

    So far I know that FileSystemWatcher can look into a folder and if any of the files inside that folder is changed,modifies,.etc... then we can handle it. But I am not sure which filter and event I should use in my scenario: Watch for a Folder, If a file is added to that folder, do XYZ ... So In my scenario I don't care if an existing file is changed,etc..those should be ignored...only do XYZ if and only if a new file has been added to that Folder... Which event and filter do you recommended for this scenario?

    I'm in the process of migrating a computer from Windows To Ubuntu. I followed these instructions to move my Thunderbird emails over. The emails that I moved show up, but when I try to check for new emails I get this message: Sending of password did not succeed. Mail server pop.windstream.net responded: [IN-USE] account is locked by another session or for maintenance, try again. I click OK and another box pops up saying: Login to server pop.windstream.net failed. With 3 options: "Enter new password" (I'm SURE the one I'm typing is correct) "Cancel" "Retry" I've tried all 3. Retyping my password, clicking "Retry", same result. While I was typing this, I got a toast that said: Thunderbird's attempt to connect to pop.windstream.net has timed out. What is causing this and how can I fix it?

I am able to relay email from ubuntu through office365 using postfix; the configuration works. It only works as one of the users; more specifically the user who authenticates against office365 is the only valid "from" More details follow. I have a machine in Amazon's cloud on which I run a bunch of jobs and would like to have statuses mailed over to me. I use office365 at work so I want to relay mail through office365. I'm most familiar with postfix so I used that as the MTA. Configuration is ubuntu 12.04LTS; I've installed postfix and mail-utils. For this example, let me say my company is "company.com" and the machine in question (through an elastic IP and a DNS entry) is called "plaything.company.com". hostname is set to "plaything.company.com", so is /etc/mailname On plaything, I have the following users registered alpha, bravo, and charlie. In office365, I setup [email protected] as having another email address of [email protected]. Then, I made the following sender_canonical [email protected] [email protected] I created a sasl_passwd file that reads: smtp.office365.com [email protected]:123456password123456 let's just say that the password for [email protected] is 1234...456 With all this setup, login as alpha and mail [email protected] Cc: Subject: test test and the whole thing works wonderfully. email gets sent off by postfix, TLS works like a champ, authenticates as daemon@... and [email protected] in Office365 gets an email message. The issue comes up when logged in as bravo to the machine. sender is [email protected] and office365 says: status=bounced (host smtp.office365.com[132.245.12.25] said: 550 5.7.1 Client does not have permissions to send as this sender (in reply to end of DATA command)) this is because I'm trying to send mail as bravo@... and authenticating with office365 as daemon@.... The reason it works with alpha@... is because in office365, I setup [email protected] as having another email address of [email protected]. In Postfix Relay to Office365, Miles Erickson answers the question thusly: Don't send mail to Office365 as a user from your Office365-hosted e-mail domain. Use a subdomain instead, e.g. [email protected] instead of [email protected]. It wouldn't hurt to set up an SPF record for services.mydomain.com or whatever you decide to use. Don't authenticate against mail.messaging.microsoft.com as an Office365 user. Just connect on port 25 and deliver the mail to your domain as any foreign SMTP agent would do. OK, I've done #1, I have those records on DNS but for the most part they are not relevant once Office365 recognizes that I own the domain. Here are those records: CNAME records: - msoid.plaything.company.com - autodiscover.plaything.company.com MX record: - plaything.company.com (plaything-company-com.mail.protection.outlook.com) TXT record: - plaything.company.com (v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all) I've tried #2 but no matter what I do, office365 just blows away the connection with "not authenticated". I can try even a simple telnet to port 25 and attempt to send and it doesn't work. 250 BY2PR01CA007.outlook.office365.com Hello [54.221.245.236] 530 5.7.1 Client was not authenticated Connection closed by foreign host. Is there someone out there who has this kind of a configuration working where multiple users on a linux machine are able to relay mail using postfix through office365? There has to be someone out there doing this who can tell me what is wrong with my setup ...
