  Hi, I need to add a image to a custom toolbar/menu item which is create through VBA. My toolbar is initializing at the workbook load up event. I noticed that the image is loading to the toolbar button, but in a fraction of second it disappears and only item text is displayed. My image is 16x16 pixel bmp one. Any help appreciate to get around this problem Thank you

• Rails is not passing the "commit" button parameter

  Reinstalling a Rails app on a new server. Part of the app can fork in one of two directions based on the button the user selects. This part isn't working, and when I look at the log I see the values that I gave the form, execept for the commit portion of the params hash. This seems to be why the app isn't working as expected (since there's nothing in params[:commit], but I have no idea why commit would not be passed in; the request is definitely a POST request, and all of the other parameters are there.

  as a user requirement I have to disable the backspace button from navigating back in the history. I cannot bind the input types as exceptions because the content editor in sharepoint allows to modify the text in div or paragraph elements etc. The solution is not working in IE8 because the event.target returns the element that is on mouseover when there's no controls that has the focus. All tips will be appreciated. Thanks!!

  Hi, I'm trying to do some automation of windows applications. To do whatever I want to do, I need the window handles of some controls. Before, I would accomplish this with a combination EnumWindows, EnumChildWindows and GetWindowText. But now, some newer programs no longer have toolbar with buttons on it. Instead, they have a ribbon. This didn't seem like much of a problem to me at first, but now I notice that the buttons on the ribbon don't show up in EnumChildWindows! Or at least GetWindowText does not return the same text as the one seen on the screen. So to make a long story short: Can anybody tell me how I can programatically find the handle of a button on a ribbon? Thanks. Regards, ldx

  Hey Guys, I am using ThickBox 3.1 one one page. Now, there is one problem, i am using one form to open thickbox on the button click event. And i am using yahoo text editor on that form. And in the yahoo rich text editor there is one link of image insert.. but i don't know why its not opening. on click of it. the image insert dialog is not opening. all things are working properly. • Android: Prompt user to save changes when Back button is pressed

  I have an activity that contains several user editable items (an EditText field, RatingBar, etc). I'd like to prompt the user if the back/home button is pressed and changes have been made that have not yet been saved. After reading through the android documentation, it seems like this piece of code should go in the onPause method. I've tried putting an AlertDialog in the onPause however the dialog gets shown and then immediately tears down because nothing is there to block the pause from completing. • Force reload/refresh when pressing the back button

  I will try my best to explain this. I have an application that show the 50+ projects in my view page. The user can click the individual project and go to the update page to update the project information. Everything works fine except that after user finish updating the individual project information and hit 'back' button on the browser to the previous view page. The old project information (before update) is still there. The user has to hit refresh to see the updated information. It not that bad, but I wish to provide better user experience. Any idea to fix this? Thanks a lot.

• Soundboard app: Play sound as long as the user is pressing the button

  I am making a soundboard app and i am using sounds with over 30sec duration. I am playing the sound by connecting in IB my action with a "touch down" event, however the sound keeps playing once started. I connected in the some button a "touch cancel" & "touch up outside" event that is supposed to stop the sound but for some reason it doesn't. • Graphical Submit button doesn't 'post' in Firefox or IE

• Get drop down selection from GridView on button press

  I have an ASP.NET GridView that has four columns. The first three are typical BoundField elements bound to a DataTable. The forth is a TemplateField element that I create a DropDownList in on the OnRowCreated event for the GridView. What I'm attempting to do is walk down the data source for the GridView when a button is pressed. I really just need to get the values for columns one and four of each row. The first three columns have data as expected but the forth is displaying as empty. Is this because it wasn't a part of the DataTable originally? Is there any way to get the value for each drop down as I've described it, or will I need to rework this so each drop down list is a part of the DataTable?

  I am working on a widget that is a lot like twitters widget where there is a list of postings and a view more button. I can get it to work with using ID variables but I would like to sort by popular posts. Here is my mysq code: $sql = "SELECT id, title, category, icon_normal, status, description, views_monthly FROM posts WHERE views_monthly<=".$lastPost." AND status='1' ORDER BY views_monthly DESC LIMIT 9" So the problem that I am having is it shows the first 9 just fine. When it gets to the point where views_monthly = 0 then it just loads the same 9 post over again. How do it get it to switch to using ID when it reaches Views_monthly = 0 and load fresh posts?
