    Does anyone have experience developing with ESQL/C for INFORMIX-SQL, as in calling C funcs within "Perform" screen generator and "ACE" report writer? I have ISQL without ESQL/C. I experimented compiling a perform screen, where in the instructions section I put "ON BEGINNING CALL userfunc() END" and although I don't have ESQL/C, the Perform screen successfully compiled without errors!.. Apparently, the compiler didn't reject the C call even though there's no ESQL/C or C program linked.

  • Import Data from text file into sql DB using CSLA

    I am trying to import data from ~ Delimited Text file into SQL Server using CSLA. My text file has 92,000 records in it. Here are the issues i am having with the import When i create a BusinnessListBase .new and add all my records to it, it gives me a "Out of meory exception". So to fix it i create a new bussinessbase object and save it. this works fine and is much faster too. It takes 15 minutes I have to run my program again and check for any changes and hence update them, this is where it takes too much time. Is there any alternative way to speed up my import?

Details: Error parsing near 'The server rejected '. actually is not giving me error on localhost, i have uploaded it on 2 other different server on 1 server its working fine but on other server its giving me above error.   • How to make selection color be "on top" when background color for any text element is set in Visual

    Faced problem while setting background color for any element in Visual Studio 2010 editor. Selection color doesn't override this background color. So then it's very inconvenient to work with selections in editor. Case when only string literal is selected it's almost impossible to distinguish colors and see what part of string is selected. Is there any possibility to fix the problem by changing some options? Or it's a Visual Studio bug?

    iam using GET command to get the content of a page.When i write the same command on shell prompt it gives correct result but when i use that in PHP file then sometimes its giving correct result but sometimes it gives only half of the content i.e. end-half portion only. Iam using following command in shell script :- GET http://www.abc.com/ -H "Referer:http://www.abcd.com/" and following in PHP file :- $data=exec('GET http://www.abc.com/ -H "Referer:http://www.abcd.com/"'); echo $data; Now please tell why this command is not giving full content of the page when im using it in php file.

    I have got a table which contains 5 column and query requirements: update row no 8 (or id=8) set its column 2, column 3's value from id 9th column 2, column 3 value. means all value of column 2, 3 should be shifted to column 2, 3 of upper row (start from row no 8) and value of last row's 2, 3 will be null For example, with just 3 rows, the first row is untouched, the second to N-1th rows are shifted once, and the Nth row has nulls. id math science sst hindi english 1 11 12 13 14 15 2 21 22 23 24 25 3 31 32 33 34 35 The result of query of id=2 should be: id math science sst hindi english 1 11 12 13 14 15 2 31 32 23 24 25 //value of 3rd row (col 2,3) shifted to row 2 3 null null 33 34 35 This process should run for all rows whose id 2 Please help me to create this update query I am using MS sqlserver 2005

What im concerned about is that how will my php file will fetch these parameters ??     i have more than two tables in my database and all of them contains same field names like table A table B table C field1 field1 field1 field2 field2 field2 field3 field3 field3 . . . . . . . . . . . . I have to write a SELECT query which gets almost all same fields from these 3 tables.Iam using something like this :- select a.field1,a.field2,a.field3,b.field1,b.field2,b.field3,c.field1,c.field2,c.field3 from table A as a, table B as b,table C as c where so and so. but when i print field1's value it gives me the last table values. How can i get all the values of three tables with the same field names??? do i have to write individual query for every table OR there is any ways of fetching them all in a single query????

    I have an ivar like this declared on interface: BOOL controllerOK; I have to use this ivar inside a block that resides itself in a block. Something like myBlockl = ^(){ [self presentViewController:controller animated:YES completion:^(){ if (controllerOK) [self doStuff]; }]; }; If I try to do that, I see an error capturing self strongly in this block is likely to lead to a retain cycle for the if (controllerOK) line. This does not appear to be one of those blocks problems that you create another variable using __unsafe_unretained before the block starts. First because this instruction cannot be used with a BOOL and second because the ivar controllerOK has to be tested on runtime inside the block. Another problem is that the block itself is declared on the interface, so it will be used outside the context where it is being created. How do I solve that?

    My SMTP server got 100's of errors when sending lots of emails. Now have lots of .BAD files each one containing an error message and somewhere in the middle, the actual email address it was supposed to be sent to. What is the easiest way to extract from each file "just" the "email address", so that I can have a list of the actual failed emails? I can code in C# and any suggestion will be truly welcomed.
