    A powershell question: I want to extract each line in a character stream produced by an application that matches a certain pattern which in pseudo-code would be something like this: PS <a_ps_command> <the_application_command_for_outputting_the_text_stream> | <my_filter > output_file.txt In my case the application is a CM-tool that outputs the change history of a source file and the (psuedo)pattern should be something like: <a couple of numbers><a name><a time stamp><a line of characters> Cheers, Christian

    Hi, I have an issue where in I have defined dependancies in ivy.xml on our internal corporate svn. I am able to access this svn site without any proxy task in ant. While my dependencies resides on ibiblio, that’s something outside our corporate, and needs proxy inorder to download something. I am facing problem using ivy here: I have following in build.xml <target name="proxy"> <property name="proxy.host" value="xyz.proxy.net"/> <property name="proxy.port" value="8443"/> <setproxy proxyhost="${proxy.host}" proxyport="${proxy.port}"/> </target> &lt;!-- resolve the dependencies of stratus --&gt; &lt;target name="resolveTestDependency" depends="testResolve, proxy" description="retrieve test dependencies with ivy"&gt; &lt;ivy:settings file="stratus-ivysettings.xml" /> &lt;ivy:retrieve conf="test" pattern="${jars}/[artifact]-[revision].[ext]"/&gt;<!--pattern here specifies where do you want to download lib to?--> </target> <target name=" testResolve "> <ivy:settings file="stratus-ivysettings.xml" /> <ivy:resolve conf="test" file="stratus-ivy.xml"/> </target> Following is the excerpt from stratus-ivysettings.xml <resolvers <!-- here you define your file in private machine not on the repo (e.g. jPricer.jar or edgApi.jar)-- <url name="privateFS" <ivy pattern="http://xyz.svn.com/ivyRepository/[organisation]/ivy/ivy.xml"/ </url . . . <url name="public" m2compatible="true" <artifact pattern="http://www.ibiblio.org/maven2/[organisation]/[module]/[revision]/[artifact]-[revision].[ext]"/ </url . . . I don’t need proxy while getting ivy.xml (as if I have proxy, ivy wont be able to find ivy file behind proxy from within the network), and I just need it when my resolver goes to public url.

  • In Objective C, what's the best way to extract multiple substrings of text around multiple patterns?

    For one NSString, I have N pattern strings. I'd like to extract substrings "around" the pattern matches. So, if i have "the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog" and my patterns are "brown" and "lazy" i would like to get "quick brown fox" and "the lazy dog." However, the substrings don't necessarily need to be delimited by whitespace. I have a hunch that there's a very easy solution to this, but I admit a disturbing lack of knowledge of Objective C string functions.

    Kohana 3.2 was designed to support the HMVC design pattern. The HMVC pattern consists of nested MVC-triads. Yet as far as I can tell, Kohana's cascading file system requires all Models and Controllers to be placed within a top 'classes' directory, and Views into a top 'views' directory. If Model/Controllers are thus separated from Views at the top level of the file system, then how are we supposed to implement nested MVC-triads?

    Hi Everyone, I use this pattern to test for undefined and null values in ActionScript/Flex : if(obj) { execute() } Unfortunately, a ReferenceError is always thrown when I use the pattern to test for child objects : if(obj.child) { execute() } ReferenceError: Error #1069: Property child not found on obj and there is no default value. Why does testing for child objects with if statements throw a ReferenceError? Thanks!

    I'm using a jQuery plugin called InfiniteScroll (https://github.com/paulirish/infinite-scroll) and I have a URL with this pattern: '/category/2/', when I paged the result I use the following pattern: "/category/2?page=2". When Infinite Scroll makes de request, he increments the wrong number, in the case above, the request is: "/category/3?page=2" in place of "/category/2?page=3". Anyone knows how workaround this?

  • PHP preg_replace without eval

    Am trying to use something like: $newdata = preg_replace($pattern, $replacement, $data); Now my replacement is something like $pattern = "/START(.*?)END/is"; $replacement = "START $config END"; Now, $config contains contents like array('Test\\\'s Page') The problem is that after I write the content, $newdata becomes START array('Test\\'s Page') END As you see above a single \ goes missing because it gets evaluated. How do I avoid that?

("admin" is constant here - name of the bundle) I tried that: homepage: pattern: / defaults: { _bundle: HelloBundle, _controller: Hello, _action: index } default: pattern: /:controller/:action/* defaults: { _bundle: HelloBundle } But it doesn't work, even for the first rule.
