• How do I calculate the week number given a date?

  If I have a date, how do I calculate the week number for that date within that year? For example, in 2008, January 1st to January 6th are in week 1 and January 7th to the 13th are in week 2, so if my date was January 10th 2008, my week number would be 2. An algorithm would be great to get me started and sample code would also help - I'm developing in C++ on Windows. Related: Getting week number off a date in MS SQL Server 2005?

• Cross-Domain iframe communication

  I have an iframe being created on a page, and the page's domain is being explicitly set to 'xyz.com' but the iframe's domain is defaulting to 'dev.xyz.com', which is the actual domain i'm developing for. The problem is, when I try to access that iframe via iframe.contentWindow.document, it fails due to the difference in domain. I've tried setting the iframe's src to a file with document.domain = 'xyz.com' but that doesn't seem to be doing the trick... Any ideas?

  Well, i´m developing a webpage that contains two tags (program and events), that shows two different contents. When I click the program button(it´s a tag), it´s ok, it´s shows the table on the div´s. But, when I click the events button, again it´s shows the program tag contents, and I want to show the events table content. I´ve read de solution for this question on this site, but not happens, when i change my JS file, the content of both tags disapears. Please, somebody help me!...Thank´s

• Are Ms-PL and Apache License Version 2.0 Compatible?

  I need to use two libraries in a commercial product that i'm developing at work. One library is under the Ms-PL license and the other is under Apache License Version 2.0. I know that Ms-PL is not compatible with GPL according to the FSF, and that the Apache License Version 2.0 is only compatible with GPLv3 (and not with GPLv1 or GPLv2). But i don't know if both licenses are compatible. Any help would be appreciated, even if it is that it is impossible :)

  HI all, I'm just getting started with developing for Android. I'm looking to port one of my iPhone applications, but I'm kind of at a loss for how to draw a view at runtime (a view not declared in the XML). Basically, I want to draw a simple rectangle, but then be able to manipulate its frame after being drawn.   I am trying to introduce the hstore type into the database of a project I'm developing. But the problem is that I have a slightly newer version of the Postgres server installed on my development machine than there is on the production machine. While I can simply execute the CREATE EXTENSION command locally, this command is unavailable on the production machine. Is there a way to create a script that will install hstore both on 9.1 and 9.0?
