  Hi I'm using axis1.4 and wss4j. When I define in client-config.wsdd for WSDoAllSender and WSDoAllReceiver different signaturePropFiles where I have different key stores defined with different certificates, I'm able to have different certificates for sending and receiving. But when I use the same signaturePropFiles' with the same keystore. • Rspec-rails doesn't seem to find my models

  Hi - I'm trying out rspec, and immediately hit a wall when it doesn't seem to load db records I know exist. Here's my fairly simple spec (no tests yet). require File.expand_path(File.dirname(__FILE__) + '../spec_helper') describe SomeModel do before :each do @user1 = User.find(1) @user2 = User.find(2) end it "should do something fancy" end I get an ActiveRecord::RecordNotFound exception, saying it couldn't find User w/ ID=1 or ID=2, which I know for a fact exist. I set both test and development databases to point to the same schema in database.yml, so this shouldn't be database mixup. I also ran script/generate rspec after installing the gems (rspec, rspec-rails), and gem.config both environment.rb and test.rb. Any idea what I'm missing? thanks. EDIT Seems I was running the tests with rake spec:models, which emptied the db and thus no records were found. When I used % spec spec/models/some_model_spec.rb, everything worked as expected.

• How to find two most distant points?

  This is a question that I was asked on a job interview some time ago. And I still can't figure out sensible answer. Question is: you are given set of points (x,y). Find 2 most distant points. Distant from each other. For example, for points: (0,0), (1,1), (-8, 5) - the most distant are: (1,1) and (-8,5) because the distance between them is larger from both (0,0)-(1,1) and (0,0)-(-8,5). The obvious approach is to calculate all distances between all points, and find maximum. The problem is that it is O(n^2), which makes it prohibitively expensive for large datasets. There is approach with first tracking points that are on the boundary, and then calculating distances for them, on the premise that there will be less points on boundary than "inside", but it's still expensive, and will fail in worst case scenario. Tried to search the web, but didn't find any sensible answer - although this might be simply my lack of search skills.

  Hi everybody! I am having a general problem finding a good algorithm for generating each possible assignment for some integers in different arrays. Lets say I have n arrays and m numbers (I can have more arrays than numbers, more numbers than arrays or as much arrays as numbers). As an example I have the numbers 1,2,3 and three arrays: { }, { }, { } Now I would like to find each of these solutions: {1,2,3}, { }, { } { }, {1,2,3}, { } { }, { }, {1,2,3} {1,2}, {3}, { } {1,2}, { }, {3} { }, {1,2}, {3} {1}, {2,3}, { } {1}, { }, {2,3} { }, {1}, {2,3} {1}, {2}, {3} So basically I would like to find each possible combination to assign the numbers to the different arrays with keeping the order. So as in the example the 1 always needs to come before the others and so on... I want to write an algorithm in C++/Qt to find all these valid combinations. Does anybody have an approach for me on how to handle this problem? How would I generate these permutations?

  Hello, I'm using a Treeview control in a .NET 3.5 c# project and I'm noticing inconsistencies in the checked property when I use the find method of the Treeview control. I'll check some leaves (nodes with no children) and then click a button. Inside the button click I'm using the find method of the treeview control to locate the node and interrogate the value of the checked property. On screen the leaf will be checked but according to the checked property of the node returned from the Find method its not checked. Has anyone else run into this? Thanks

Does this imply that I cannot rely on shift to reliably assign to $_? Imagine a coworker implements the wtf function and doesn't know that it's called from a File::Find wanted sub.   I am trying to find and process 'java-style' comments within a string in objective-C. I have a few regex snippets which almost work but I am stuck on one hurdle: different options seem to make the different styles work. For example, I am using this to match: NSArray* matches = [[NSRegularExpression regularExpressionWithPattern:expression options:NSRegularExpressionAnchorsMatchLines error:nil] matchesInString:string options:0 range:searchRange]; The options here allow me successfully find and process single line comments (//) but not multiline (/* */), if I change the option to NSRegularExpressionDotMatchesLineSeparators then I can make multiline work fine but I can't find the 'end' of a single line comment. I suppose really I need dot-matches-line-separators but I need a better way of finding the end of a single line comment? The regexp I have so far are: @"/\\*.*?\\*/" @"//.*$" it's clear to see if dot matches a line separator then the second one (single line) never 'finishes' but how do I fix this? I found some suggestions for single line that were more like: @"(\/\/[^"\n\r]*(?:"[^"\n\r]*"[^"\n\r]*)*[\r\n])" But that doesn't' seem to work at all! Thanks in advance for any pointers.

• Can't find .js file in my mainBundle?!

  This is driving me crazy as I cannot figure out what in the world is going on. I load up files form you main bundle all the time, xml files, html files, etc. But, now I am trying to get the contents of a javascript file but it can never find it. I am using: NSData *jsData = [NSData dataWithContentsOfFile:[[NSBundle mainBundle] pathForResource:@"global" ofType:@"js"]]; if (jsData) { NSLog(@"%@", jsData); } else { NSLog(@"Can't find file"); return; } Even checking the [[NSBundle mainBundle] pathForResource:@"global" ofType:@"js"] string returns null. My globaly.js file is in my Resources folder, the exact location where my other files are location that work totally fine using the above method. Why can't it find my js file?

  In cake php I can grab a model's fields by using the find() method. What if I wish to apply a transformation function to the fields? Is there a way to directly accomplish this task? Suppose I have a model called RaceTime with the fields racerId and timeMillis RaceTime +------------+ | Field | +------------+ | id | | racerId | | timeMillis | +------------+ timeMillis is an int specifying how long the race took in milliseconds. Obviously saying a race took 15651 milliseconds isn't very useful to a human reader, and I would wish to convert this to a human readable format. Is there a way to accomplish this directly in find()? Or is the only option to loop through the results after find() finishes?
