  • Custom keys with NERDComment plugin and remapped Leader?

    I'm trying to set up the NERDComment plugin in vim, but I'm having some trouble with the keys. I'd like to set the basic toggle functionality (comment a line if it's uncommented, uncomment if it's commented) to be c. The problem is that I've remapped the Leader to be ,, which is the same key that NERD wants for all of it's hotkeys. Anyone have any idea as to how to set this up?

I'd like to get: * at least keyboard and mouse input * on at least the big three operating systems * Small/fast * C or C++ * permissive licensing gpl2/mit/free/etc. So far I've seen: * OIS (used in Ogre) http://sourceforge.net/projects/wgois/ * SDL (used everywhere it seems, might be a clue) http://www.libsdl.org/index.php * Allegro http://www.talula.demon.co.uk/allegro/readme.html Has any one used any of these, or know of something else that might be good?   • Arrow keys with NSTableView

    Is it possible to navigate an NSTableView's editable cell around the NSTableView using arrow keys and enter/tab? For example, I want to make it feel more like a spreadsheet. The users of this application are expected to edit quite a lot of cells (but not all of them), and I think it would be easier to do so if they didn't have to double-click on each cell.

  • jQuery 1.4.2 and IE6: change event not firing first time using keyboard

    I've done a good amount of research on this and found a bunch of reported problems and solutions but the general consensus seems that all change problems in IE6 were fixed in jQuery 1.4.2. I'm having an issue where a change event is not firing in jQuery 1.4.2, but it did fire successfully in jQuery 1.3.2. This is in IE6. I'm about to submit a bug for this, but for my sanity I wanted to post it here first to see if there's something dumb I'm missing. I don't understand why this is working this way... <HTML> <HEAD> <TITLE>jQuery 1.4.2 Problem </TITLE> <script src="jquery-1.4.2.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script> $(document).ready( function() { $("#firstBox").change(function() { alert("CHANGE"); }); // ONLOAD of document autofocus into the first element... $("form").find(":input:visible:first").focus() }); </script> </HEAD> <BODY> <form> <select id="firstBox"> <option value="" selected="selected">--</option> <option value="1">One</option> <option value="2">Two</option> </select> <br><br> <input size="10" id="secondBox"> </form> </BODY> </HTML> Simple enough, right? Onload of the page, give the first element focus. Onchange of the first element, alert. If you use the mouse, it works as expected. The page loads, the focus is in the drop down, you change the option, you get the alert. The problem is if you use the keyboard. The page loads, the focus is in the drop down, you press the down arrow. The option changes. Tab off the field, no alert. Weird. To make it even weirder, if you tab back into the field and change it again (all using the keyboard), the change event DOES fire after tab out this time. Any ideas?

  • Doctrine: String keys with Array hydration

    According to their documentation, you should use Array hydration rather than record hydration when retrieving data for read-only purposes. However, this means I have to access the attributes of the retrieved object using arrays and string keys: $user['Phonenumbers'][0]['number'] instead of the OO style: $user->PhoneNumbers[0]->number Now I'm kinda new to PHP, but in other languages I've worked with the 2nd notation would be preferable because typos would be caught at compile time while typos in string literals would not be noticed until runtime. Does this apply to PHP/Doctrine?

    Are there any repercussions using Negative Primary Keys for tables (Identity Increment -1, Identity Seed -1 in SQL Server 2005)? The reason for this is we're creating a new database to replace an existing one. There are similar tables between the two databases and we'd like the "source" of the information to be transparent to our applications. The approach is to create views that unions tables from both databases. Negative PKs ensures the identities don't overlap.

  • Filter entire NSDictionaries out of NSArray based on multiple keys

    Hi, I have an NSArray of NSDictionary objects which I would like to be able to return a new array of NSDictionaries from, where every NSDictionary has "Area == North" (for example). The closest example I have found so far is http://stackoverflow.com/questions/958622/using-nspredicate-to-filter-an-nsarray-based-on-nsdictionary-keys but this just returns the unique values for a given key, not the dictionary that has that key. Is there any way to perform a similar operation, and to return the entire dictionary?

  • Upgrading Entity Framework 1.0 to 4.0 to include foreign keys

    Currently I've been working with Entity Framework 1.0 which is located under a service façade. Below is one of the save methods I've created to either update or insert the device in question. This currently works but, I can't help feel that its a bit of a hack having to set the referenced properties to null then re-attach them just to get an insert to work. The changedDevice already holds these values, so why do I need to assign them again. So, I thought I'll update the model to EF4. That way I can just directly access the foreign keys. However, on doing this I've found that there doesn't seem to be an easy way to add the foreign keys except by removing the entity from the diagram and re-adding it. I don't want to do this as I've already been through all the entity properties renaming them from the DB column names.
