  • Insert dependencies dynamically in View (Javascript and CSS Files)

    Friends, I am willing to follow the rules of the W3C where it is recommended that javascript and CSS files should be in individual files and not within the page. Good, following this rule, and not wanting to overload the master page, I would like to embed the dependencies dynamically. So how could I insert the libraries dynamically? I think the bigger problem is the Ajax requests. Example: <script type="text/javascript" src="http://sstatic.net/so/js/master.js?v=6523"></script> I tried using the JavascriptResult, but he writes the content on the page, and do not run as "Stream." Any help is welcome. Thanks

    hi, I am kind of stuck on this one. im not a java or oracle guru, so please give detailed answers :) i've a web-service that inserts something into DB. the web-service is hosted on axis. the db is oracle with following properties: NLS_LANGUAGE AMERICAN NLS_TERRITORY AMERICA NLS_CHARACTERSET ZHS16GBK the web-service is hosted on windows server 2008, english version but i have changed the locale of the system to chinese now the data after insert has encoding problem and shows strange characters like ????,exxk?? the jws file has GBK encoding. and the data that is inserted into the DB is hard-coded in the file [we are not reading it from REQUEST]

    I would like to add an additional parameter in my url, the use case is the following: When user do their login they also specify a 'company' name and from that moment on, all urls should map to: /$company/$controller/$action/$id The main idea is to have the current company name available in all url's, have it bookmarkable, and not to have to pass the company name everywhere as a request parameter. Also, once users are logged in it is acceptable to have the chosen company name in session scope. What is the right way of inserting this parameter in all our urls? I tried to modify my UrlMappings mapping, but I didn't found a way to insert the company name. Thanks,

    so i have a list where i need to add new values constantly but when i do i need to increment it and insert it in between two values. List<int> initializers = new List <int>(); initializers.Add(1); initializers.Add(3); so initializers would have 1, 3 values. i would then process a new set of numbers. the initializers will need to have the values. 1, 5, 3, 7 and if i process another set of numbers it should become 1, 9, 5, 13, 3, 11, 7, 15 i know how to properly generate the new values inserted, i just need some help on inserting it in between the existing values of the initializers without having to add 2 or 3 more loops to move the values' positions.

    Hi all, I have two questions about Google's dense_hash_map, which can be used instead of the more standard unordered_map or hash_map: How do I use an arbitrary binary data memory segment as a key: I want a buffer+length pair, which may still contain some NUL (\0) characters. I can see how I use a NUL-terminated char * string , but that's not what I want. How do I implement an operation where I look if a key exists, and if not - insert it and if it does return the pointer to the existing key and let me know what actually happened.     I am using ODP.NET for loading data into Oracle. I am bulking inserts into groups of a 1000 rows each call. Is there any performance benefits in calling my load method asynchronously? So say I want to insert 10000 rows, instead of making 10 calls synchronously I make 10 calls asynchronously. My database is using ASSM right now but otherwise plenty of freelists are used of course. The database server has several cores as well. My initial tests seem to point to a performance increase, but maybe there is something I cannot see? Potential deadlock or contention issues? Of course, there is added complexity in handling transactions and such doing my load this way.

    I just can't understand why is my database (mysql) behaving like this! My console shows that the record is created properly (please, notice the "remote_id" value): Tweet Create (0.3ms) INSERT INTO `tweets` (`remote_id`, `text`, `user_id`, `twitter_account_id`) VALUES (12325438258, 'jamaica', 1, 1) But when I check the record, it shows that the remote_id is 2147483647 intead of the provided value (12325438258 in the example above)... This table has many entries, but this field is always written with 2147483647... It was supposed to fill this space with an unique id (which I guarantee you is being generated properly).

    After renaming one of my MySQL MyISAM tables from test_tablename to tablename, I have found that if I try to execute an INSERT (or REPLACE) query, I get the following message: 1146: Table 'dbname.test_tablename' doesn't exist I have triple-checked my database abstraction code, and verified this by running the query directly on the server. According to the MySQL server, the CREATE TABLE syntax is tablename, as expected, and when I run SHOW TABLES, it lists tablename as expected. Is there any reason for this to happen? More importantly, is there an easier way to fix this than dumping, dropping, re-creating, and reloading the table?

  • Hibernate inserting into join table

    I got several entities. Two of them got a many-to-many relation. When I do a bigger operation on these entities it fails with this exception: org.hibernate.exception.ConstraintViolationException: could not insert collection rows: I execute the operation i a @Transactional context. I don't do any explicit flushing i my daos. The flush is triggered by a query. In the queue are 15 elements (all of the same structure). one of them always fails (but it's always a different one (I checked) and always at a different position). Does anybody have a hint for me for what I might do wrong? My Mapping: @ManyToMany(targetEntity = CategoryImpl.class) protected Set<Category> categories = new HashSet<Category>();
