I include TinyMCE in my admin text area editor by adding a admin template to folder media in my templates with filename base_site.html Now when I add a image with filebrowser, tiny_mce adds a leading ../../../../ before /media/uploads/etc/image.jpg Any ideas why? I guess its some URL thats not set correct. But im not sure if its tiny_mce or filebrowser.

  • NULL ForeignKeyTo property in Subsonic 3/ASP.NET MVC?

    - by chad
Issue: the primary key of the base table is named differently than the the key in the fk table. Subsonic 3 does not know how to handle that, which is fine, its beta. So I was going to change the Html.ControlFor logic to just grab the table and use the pkname from that: var fk = db.FindTable(col.ForeignKeyTo.FriendlyName); However the .ForeignKeyTo is null. Where in the templates does that ITable get populated?

  • T4 Controller Template to trigger View Generation

    - by DrydenMaker
I have been using some customized MVC templates that really improve my productivity. However, I would like to take it to the next level. I generate a controller template for each table in my app. The controller has Edit, List, Details, and Delete actions. What I would like to do, is at the same time trigger the generation of the views for those actions. Does anyone have a reference or have suggestions on how this can be done?

  • What features would you like to see removed from C++?

    - by Justin Ethier
This question was inspired by what-features-would-you-like-to-see-added-to-c. anBasically, C++ is a great general-purpose language. But perhaps too general and feature-rich... multiple inheritance, operator overloading, manual memory management, templates, smart pointers, virtual destructors, legacy frameworks (think MFC), and I could just go on. Is there any one feature / aspect of C++ that you would like taken away, to make our lives easier as C++ developers? One feature per answer, please.

  • How to add a context processor from a Django app

    - by Edan Maor
Say I'm writing a Django app, and all the templates in the app require a certain variable. The "classic" way to deal with this, afaik, is to write a context processor and add it to TEMPLATE_CONTEXT_PROCESSORS in the settings.py. My question is, is this the right way to do it, considering that apps are supposed to be "independent" from the actual project using them? In other words, when deploying that app to a new project, is there any way to avoid the project having to explicitly mess around with its settings?

  • WPF: Why all the love for the Grid control?

    - by Eduardo Molteni
Seen various examples of WPF applications I've seen the use of the Grid control for almost anything, even simplest things with only 1 column or row. Also, the WPF templates start with an empty grid. For me, using StackPanel or DockPanel is less verbose and are better for maintenance (think adding a row later and having to add +1 to all the other rows) Why is Grid better or what I am missing?

  • What's the best free and opensource PHP ecommerce solution? (and why?)

    - by Andrea Ambu
I'd like to avoid coding one from scratch, so I'd like to see what the open-source community can offer :-) Required features: Easy way to insert items with photo and description Templates easy-to-create Multi language (at least Italian and English) Shopping cart User managment PayPal support (not required but really appreciated :D) I'm going on PHP and MySQL because of the hosting service I can't change, so please don't talk to me about alternatives :P I'd like to know what's the one you like the most and why should it be better than the others UPDATE: I need also multi language, Italian and English are a must.

  • SubSonic template with MySQL

    - by jstevenson86
When I run the custom tool to create the cs files for SubSonic all the templates now inject a letter g to the top of the cs files. To get this to compile I need to remove the g from the ActiveRecord.cs, Struts.cs, Context.cs and StoredProcedures.cs. Anyone else run into this? I am using MySQL.

  • How to transform a cached XML via XSL?

    - by TruMan1
    I have a PHP script that caches a remote XML file. I want to XSL transform it before caching, but don't know how to do this: <?php // Set this to your link Id $linkId = "0oiy8Plr697u3puyJy9VTUWfPrCEvEgJR"; // Set this to a directory that has write permissions // for this script $cacheDir = "temp/"; $cachetime = 15 * 60; // 15 minutes // Do not change anything below this line // unless you are absolutely sure $feedUrl="http://mydomain.com/messageService/guestlinkservlet?glId="; $cachefile = $cacheDir .$linkId.".xml"; header('Content-type: text/xml'); // Send from the cache if $cachetime is not exceeded if (file_exists($cachefile) && (time() - $cachetime < filemtime($cachefile))) { include($cachefile); echo "<!-- Cached ".date('jS F Y H:i', filemtime($cachefile))." -->\n"; exit; } $contents = file_get_contents($feedUrl . $linkId); // show the contents of the XML file echo $contents; // write it to the cache $fp = fopen($cachefile, 'w'); fwrite($fp, $contents); fclose($fp); ?> This is the XSL string I want to use to transform it: <xsl:template match="/"> <kml xmlns="http://www.opengis.net/kml/2.2"> <Document> <xsl:apply-templates select="messageList" /> </Document> </kml> </xsl:template> <xsl:template match="messageList"> <name>My Generated KML</name> <xsl:apply-templates select="message" /> </xsl:template> <xsl:template match="message"> <Placemark> <name><xsl:value-of select="esnName" /></name> <Point> <coordinates> <xsl:value-of select="latitude" />,<xsl:value-of select="longitude" /> </coordinates> </Point> </Placemark> </xsl:template> I want to actually transform XML input and save/return a KML format. Can someone please help adjust this script? This was given to me and I am a little new to it.

  • Pros and cons of escaping strategies in symfony

    - by zergu
I am still not sure in that matter. While turned on we're quite safe but some other problems appear (with passing template variables or counting characters). On the other hand we have magic turned off, everything is clear, but we have to manually escape every variable (that come from untrusted source) in templates. By the way, non-magic solution is used in Ruby-on-Rails. So the question is: when starting a new project in symfony do you disable escaping_strategy and why?

    - by drupality
I am using Django built in view for user login: url(r'^user/login/$', 'django.contrib.auth.views.login', {'template_name': 'users/templates/login.html'}, name='user-login'), After login when I goto user/login again I can login second time. Why framework want to redirect to this url?

  • avoiding the tedium of optional parameters

    - by Kyle
If I have a constructor with say 2 required parameters and 4 optional parameters, how can I avoid writing 16 constructors or even the 10 or so constructors I'd have to write if I used default parameters (which I don't like because it's poor self-documentation)? Are there any idioms or methods using templates I can use to make it less tedious? (And easier to maintain?)

  • Is there an existing template for a new C++ Open Source project

    - by esavard
I want to start a new C++ (Qt) Open Source project and I'm wondering if there is an existing template somewhere for files usually found in an Open Source project but that are not purely source code (README, LICENSE, CHANGELOG, etc.) I could probably find a popular Open Source project for inspiration but if there is some existing generic templates, I will use that instead. Thanks.

  • List all form related errors in django

    - by Mridang Agarwalla
Hi, Is there a direct way of listing out 'all' form errors in Django templates. I'd like to list out both field and non-field errors and any other form errors. I've found out how to do this on a per-field basis but as said earlier, I'd like to list out everything. The method I'm using doesn't seem to list out everything. {% for error in form.errors %} {{ error|escape }} {% endfor %} Thanks.

  • How do I write a single-file Django application?

    - by obvio171
I want to write a very small Django application in a single file, requiring all the appropriate modules and stuff, and then be able to run that as a normal Python script, like this: $ python myapp.py You can assume I won't render HTML, so I don't need templates (I'll return JSON or some other auto-generated string).

  • Renaming nodes and values with xslt

    - by T.K.
    Hello world, I'm new to xslt, and have a task that I'm not really sure where to go with. I want to rename nodes, but maintain the format all node declarations. In the actual context I'll be applying this to, I'll be doing a series of renames like this, but for the sake of brevity, the sample I've written up only involves renaming one node. I am using XSL 1.0. Input: <variables> <var> <RENAME> a </RENAME> </var> <var RENAME='b'/> <var> <DO_NOT_TOUCH> c </DO_NOT_TOUCH> </var> <var DO_NOT_TOUCH='d'/> </variables> Desired Output: <variables> <var> <DONE> a </DONE> </var> <var DONE='b'/> <var> <DO_NOT_TOUCH> c </DO_NOT_TOUCH> </var> <var DO_NOT_TOUCH='d'/> </variables> My xslt: <xsl:template match="RENAME"> <RENAMED> <xsl:apply-templates select="@*|node()"/> </RENAMED> </xsl:template> <xsl:template match="@*|node()"> <xsl:copy> <xsl:apply-templates select="@*|node()"/> </xsl:copy> </xsl:template> Current Output <variables> <var> <RENAMED> a </RENAMED> </var> <var RENAME="b"> </var> <var> <DO_NOT_TOUCH> c </DO_NOT_TOUCH> </var> <var DO_NOT_TOUCH="d"> </var> </variables>
