    I basicly want to write a small packet sniffer in perl im using ubuntu 9 im basically looking to sniff all packets on my nic and return data such as source and destination address as well as the data i looked into Net::Write::Layer2 but i could never get it to run as it says it cannot find the required libs and i cannot find the dependents adn that lib is for writeing data and not accepting it ive read that i should use libpcap but no good examples are available i basicly just need to know what lib i should use and ill find a example/tutorial on using said lib Thanks in Advance

    I am using Lightbox 2 and I have followed the short tutorial on how to insert it in a webpage and it works perfectly but the close and refresh images don't show. They are replaced with the classic Mac OS X '?' box. I have checked the paths of these images in the lightbox.js file and they are correct. Thanks in advance!

    I have been following this tutorial http://tinyurl.com/327p325 which has been GREAT up until this point where I can't get his code to work. I get the list working with static items but I can't get it to work with the json items.     I'm atempting to learn xerces-c and was following this tutorial online. http://www.yolinux.com/TUTORIALS/XML-Xerces-C.html I was able to get the tutorial to compile and run through a memory checker (valgrind) with no problems however when I made alterations to the program slightly, the memory checker returned some potential leak bytes.     I'm wondering what the current state of art recommendation is regarding user authentication for a web application making use of JSF 2.0 (and if any components do exist) and JEE6 core mechanisms (login/check permissions/logouts) with user information hold in a JPA entity. The Sun tutorial is a bit sparse on this (only handles servlets). This is without making use of a whole other framework, like Spring-Security (acegi), or Seam, but trying to stick hopefully with the new Java EE 6 platform (web profile) if possible. Thanks, Niko

The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with Windows authentication. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 18452)" What steps do I need to take to fix this?
