  I want to pass a number value to a Timer. How do I do this? My number and integer values for other variables work fine. Error I get null object reference and coercion of value, because I'm not passing to 'timer' properly. I don't want to say my variable's a number, I want to say it has a number value. • Parsing every part of an HTTP header field-value

  Hi all. I'm parsing HTTP data directly from packets (either TCP reconstructed or not, you can assume it is). I'm looking for the best way to parse HTTP as accurately as possible. The main issue here is the HTTP header. Looking at the basic RFC of HTTP/1.1, it seems that HTTP header parsing would be complex. The RFC describes very complex regular expressions for different parts of the header. Should I write these regular expressions to parse the different parts of the HTTP header? The basic parsing I've written so far for HTTP header is for the generic HTTP header: message-header = field-name ":" [ field-value ] And I've included replacing inner LWS with SP and repeating headers with the same field-name with comma separated values as described in section 4.2. However, looking at section 14.9 for example would show that in order to parse the different parts of the field-value I need a much more complex parsing scheme. How do you suggest I should handle the complex parts of HTTP parsing (specifically the field-value) assuming I want to give the parser users the full capabilities of HTTP and to parse every part of HTTP? Design suggestions for this would also be appreciated. Thanks.

  One of my data sources produces a collection of values which are typed to the following interface public interface IData { string Name { get; } FrameworkElement VisualElement { get; } } I'd like to use data binding in WPF to display a collection of IData instances in a TabControl where the Name value becomes the header of the tab and the VisualElement value is displayed as the content of the corresponding tab. Binding the header is straight forward. I'm stuck though on how to define a template which allows me to display the VisualElement value. I've tried a number of solutions with little success.   I have a value in a properties file that I want to increment while the build is running. The goal is to copy a set of files and append a number to the front of each in order to maintain the order in which they were copied into the directory. • Choose a XML node in SQL Server based on max value of a child element

  I am trying to select from SQL Server 2005 XML datatype some values based on the max data that is located in a child node. I have multiple rows with XML similar to the following stored in a field in SQL Server: <user> <name>Joe</name> <token> <id>ABC123</id> <endDate>2013-06-16 18:48:50.111</endDate> </token> <token> <id>XYX456</id> <endDate>2014-01-01 18:48:50.111</endDate> </token> </user> I want to perform a select from this XML column where it determines the max date within the token element and would return the datarows similar to the result below for each record: Joe XYZ456 2014-01-01 18:48:50.111 I have tried to find a max function for xpath that would all me to select the correct token element but I couldn't find one that would work. I also tried to use the SQL MAX function but I wasn't able to get it working with that method either. If I only have a single token it of course works fine but when I have more than one I get a NULL, most likely because the query doesn't know which date to pull. I was hoping there would be a way to specify a where clause [max(endDate)] on the token element but haven't found a way to do that. • Get a selected radio button value after POST to set other fields enabled/disabled

  I have an MVC application with a simple control to all selection of All Dates or selecting a Date Range. The radio buttons have an onclick handler to enable/disable the dat pickers. All work well so far. When I try to set the correct context state for the datepickers after doing a POST I cannot get the jQuery selector to return the radio buttons checked value. How can this be done? I just don't know the appropriate way to tie the two together (new to js and jQuery). There is a counter which I would like to increase the value of using jQuery (so that the page does not need to refresh) when the button is clicked. What i want to do is, all the info will shows off on the TextBox when the user click the button. The searching node will be based on the pid. Next button will adding 1 value of pid (let's say pid=2) and it will search on the node that have the same value of pid=2. it also will show the name for the pid=2. (showing name=abc) Same goes to the previous button where it will reduce 1value of pid (pid=1).   I know that it isn't possible to set the value of an input type="file" for security reasons... My problem is: I needed to style an input type="file" so what I did was have a button and hide the file input. like: <a href="#" onclick="$('input[name=&quot;photo1&quot;]').click(); return false;" id="photo1-link"></a> <input type="file" name="photo1" class="fileInput jqtranformdone validate[required]" id="photo1" /> These works great in all browsers except IE which gives me an access denied error on submitting through ajax. I'm using the ajaxSubmit jquery plugin (malsup.com/jquery/form/) So after reading for a while I tried to do: var photo1Val = $('#photo1').val(); var clone1 = $('#photo1').clone().val(photo1Val); $('#photo1').remove(); clone1.appendTo('form'); console.log(photo1Val) //prints the right value C:/fakepath/blablabla.jpg $('form').ajaxSubmit(options); The problem is that after this the value of $('#photo1') is empty... Than as a default I am loading one of the values in drop down which is '10'. It loads too as default value. • Hide/Show Text Field based on Selected value - ROR

  I am new to ROR. I am trying to show a "Others" text field only if the selected value is "others". I am trying to make hide/show function to be as general as possible, since I will need it in many controller. If anyone can help enlightening me, I will really appreciate it. This is what I see from the console when I changed the value of selection to "Others". • invalid scalar hex value 0x8000000 and over

  Hi. I found a problem getting hex value from yaml file. It couldn't get hex value 0x80000000 and over. • Toggle image based on cookie value

  Im using a couple of JS functions to set a cookie named 'visible' with the value of either yes or no. Essentially Im using these values to decide if a <div> is visible or hidden. I've only just added the cookie, previously I had been using two images 1. Show 2. Hide as a button to hide and show the <div> like this: HTML: <img class="show" title="Show" alt="Show" src="images/show.png" /> <img class="hide" title="Hide" alt="Hide" src="images/hide.png" /> JQUERY: $("#tool").click(function() { $(".help").slideToggle(); $("#wrapper").animate({ opacity: 1.0 },200).slideToggle(200, function() { $("#tool img").toggle(); }); }); However I have now added the Cookie into the mix: $("#tool").click(function() { if(get_cookie('visible')== null) { set_cookie('visible','no'); } else { delete_cookie('visible'); } $(".help").slideToggle(); $("#wrapper").animate({ opacity: 1.0 },200).slideToggle(200, function() { $("#slider img").toggle(); }); }); So the .toggle() no longer matches the state of the <div> When the cookie value = no the show.png should be visible When the cookie value = yes then the hide.png should be visible Can anyone suggest how i can ammend this?

• Replacing a word in a text file with a value using python

  I have been trying to replace a word in a text file with a value (say 1), but my outfile is blank.I am new to python (its only been a month since I have been learning it). My file is relatively large, but I just want to replace a word with the value 1 for now. Here is a segment of what the file looks like: NAME SECOND_1 ATOM 1 6 0 0 0 # ORB 1 ATOM 2 2 0 12/24 0 # ORB 2 ATOM 3 2 12/24 0 0 # ORB 2 ATOM 4 2 0 0 4/24 # ORB 3 ATOM 5 2 0 0 20/24 # ORB 3 ATOM 6 2 0 0 8/24 # ORB 3 ATOM 7 2 0 0 16/24 # ORB 3 ATOM 8 6 0 0 12/24 # ORB 1 ATOM 9 2 12/24 0 12/24 # ORB 2 ATOM 10 2 0 12/24 12/24 # ORB 2 #1 #2 #3 I want to first replace the word ATOM with the value 1. Next I want to replace #ORB with a space. • Can't make HREF change based on PHP value

  I want to retrieve the user's location and then show a link that points to an URL that changes according to that location. I just want to place the user's city name at the end of the HREF. I need this work on my wordpress site, on a static page. I use a plugin called Exec-php which let's me run PHP in pages. I have a plugin that provides me the user's city through the shortcode "[mmjs-city]". I tried to make it work through different paths but I never get the link to work. Here I tried assigning that shortcode to a value, <?php $city= "[mmjs-city]"; echo $city; echo "<a href='?s=" . $city ."'>Search for your city</a>"; ?> I added the first two lines to check whether the shortcode is working or not and if it's correctly assinged to the value $city. That part works. Then it creates the link and put's the value $city at the end of it. But when trying it instead of taking me to: /?s=new+york It takes me to: /?s=%3Cscript%20language=%22javascript%22%3Edocument.write(geoip_city());%3C/script%3E I have no idea what to do. I would be really thankful for any info on how to make it work, it's really an important feature for my site. Please ask for any further info or idk anything. • Add a value to an element in a list of sets

  Hello. I'm using python, and I have a list of sets, constructed like this: list = [set([])]*n ...where n is the number of sets I want in the list. I want to add a value to a specific set in the list. Say, the second set. I tried list[1].add(value) But this instead adds the value to each set in the list. This behaviour is pretty non-intuitive to me. Through further tests, I think I've found the problem: the list apparently contains 10 instances of the same set, or ten pointers to the same set, or something. Constructing the list through repeated calls of list.append(set([])) allowed me to use the syntax above to add elements to single sets. So my question is this: what exactly is going on in my first list-construction technique? It is clear I don't understand the syntax so well. Also, is there a better way to intialize an n-element list? I've been using this syntax for a while and this is my first problem with it.

• DataGridView update datasource directly after changed Checkbox value

  I have a System.Windows.Forms DataGridView that is bound to a List<MyObject>. The class MyObject contains a boolean property that is bound to DataGridViewCheckboxCell within the DataGridView. public class MyObject { public decimal DefaultValue {get; set; } public bool HasCustomValue {get;set; } public decimal CustomValue {get;set; } public decimal CurrentValue { get { return HasCustomValue ? CustomValue : DefaultValue; } } If I change the value of HasCustomValue another (readonly) property CurrentValue changes it's value, too. That is done by implementing the INotifyPropertyChanged event (I left that part in the source example for simplicity) If I changed HasCustomValue from outside the DataGridView, the column bound to CurrentValue gets updated immediately. Howevery, If the users enables/disables the checkbox, HasCustomValue is not changed in the underlying datasource unless he leaves the column by clicking with the mouse or pressing the TAB key. Is there a way to force the grid to update the datasource directly after changing a checkbox value? If I bind a Control Property I have the ability to set the DataSourceUpdateMode to Windows.Forms.DataSourceUpdateMode.OnPropertyChanged but I haven't found anything like that in a DataGridView
