    I was considering using Google Sites to host some webpages with HTML5 and JavaScript experiments I'm trying out, but it seems that they don't allow JavaScript. Does anybody have any good suggestions for a free web hosting service where I can upload simple HTML/CSS & JavaScript experiments? I don't have large bandwidth needs, nor do I need a WYSIWYG editor. Ideally I'd like to just upload the HTML, CSS, and JS files directly.

  • Ubuntu 9.10 server requires frequent reboots to free up memory

    I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 on my server. It works fine, it's just that over time (usually a couple of days) the memory usage just grows and grows until it invariably runs out and needs to be rebooted. It's running Apache, Samba, ProFTPd, Postfix, Munin & Webmin. Is there anything that can be done to free up the memory that it doesn't need anymore?

    I have a shared hosting where I got used to using cPanel for managing my domains and stuff Now I am moving to a (unix based) VPS hosting, and the plan that I have chosen comes without cPanel.     We are running two physical servers both Windows 2003, not virtualized. What is the best free (if any) windows software to take a full image backup of the entire drives? If possible, while the image is taking place, it should not bring the hosts to their knees with excess CPU or I/O usage. The servers have RAID mirroring, but after hearing a few horror stories about hacked systems, we need to have weekly full image backups, so we can simply revert to a pre-hacked image. Thanks.
