  • Meta tag og:title inside Facebook Application is ignored

    I have a Facebook Application with an iframe based canvas that contains a like button (also iframe), in the head of my iframe i've specified the standard meta tags (og:title, og:url, og:site_name) and they seem to work fine (the information is displayed correctly in the profile wall) except for the title. I've tested various links of the app with the Facebook URL Linter and the ug:title tag is ignored completly. Have any of you had any trouble with the open graph tags inside facebook applications? Any ideeas are apreciated, thanks.

  • Understanding the Microsoft Public License (MS-PL)

    I'm looking at using a few open source products in a commercial software application I'm working on. One of them is licensed under MIT, which I understand as allowing commercial software linking. However, the other open source product is licensed under MS-PL but I don't understand if that license is fully compatible with commercial software. So the question is, can I use MS-PL licensed OSS in a commercial/proprietary/for-sale application? Thanks.

    Is there any movie that actually works in iPhone/iPad safari using the video tag? We tried so many formats and code snippets. I've heard that mp4/h264 should work, but not for us. Can anyone point me to a working example online? If you know the code or specs/formats for the videotag on iphone, that would be great.

He noted that back in 2007, German police forces said that they couldn't tap into Skype calls because of of its strong encryption and complicated peer-to-peer network connections; in fact, Skype bluntly stated at the time that, due to its encryption and architecture techniques, it couldn't conduct wiretaps.     Hi, I want to develop an application that uses QtWebKit and JQuery. What I need to know is, is there any difference between reading JQuery from a file and evaluateJavaScript it, or embedding it as a script tag within the "page" that is displayed within the widget? If there is a difference, I am curious if anyone could explain why it would be. As far as I understood it, evaluateJavaScript() would feed the script parameter to the JavaScript interpreter, which interprets it in the current page's context. Thanks.
