• 403 Forbidden When Using AuthzSVNAccessFile

  I've had a nicely functioning svn server running on windows that uses Apache for access. In the original setup every user had access to all repositories, but I recently needed the ability to grant a user only access to one repository. I uncommented the AuthzSVNAccessFile line in my httpd.conf file and pointed it to an accessfile and setup the access file, but I get a 403 Forbidden when I go to mydomain.com/svn . If I recomment out this line then things work again. I also made sure I uncommented the LoadModule authz_svn_module and verified that it was point to the correct file. Below is the Location section of my httpd.conf and my svnaccessfile httpd.conf (location section only) <Location /svn> DAV svn SVNParentPath C:\svn SVNListParentPath on AuthType Basic AuthName "Subversion repositories" AuthUserFile passwd Require valid-user AuthzSVNAccessFile svnaccessfile </Location> (I want a more complex policy in the long run but just did this to test the file out) svnaccessfile [svn:/] * = rw I have also tried just the below for the svnaccessfile. • Strange Apache Webdav situation (OSX Will connect, Ubuntu will not)

  So basically my situation is that I have an Apache 2.2 webserver running on Linux on another box, and I have it configured to serve up webdav. Now here's the weird part, I can access the server just fine on my Mac using the "Connect to Server" dialog (even moved like 5GB of files over the connection). On my Ubuntu desktop cadaver will connect as well and allow me to browse. However when I try to use Xmarks (BYOS Edition) or the GNOME "Connect to Server" dialog, it gives me a 403 Forbidden error. My server does digest authentication if that makes any difference. • Is Subversion(SVN) supported on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 32bit?

  I've setup subversion on Ubuntu 10.04, but can't get authentication to work. I believe all my config files are setup correctly, However I keep getting prompted for credentials on a SVN CHECKOUT. Like there is an issue with apache2 talking to svnserve. If I allow anonymous access checkout works fine. • LDAP Authentication fails with 500 or 401 depending on bind for Apache2

  I'm setting up LDAP authentication for our Subversion repository hosted through Apache on a RHEL 5 system. I run into two different issues when I try to authenticate against Active Directory. <Location /svn/> Dav svn SvnParentPath /srv/subversion SVNListParentPath On AuthType Basic AuthName "Subversion Repository" AuthBasicProvider ldap AuthLDAPBindDN "cn=userfoo,ou=Service Accounts,ou=User Accounts,dc=my,dc=example,dc=com" AuthLDAPBindPassword "mypass" AuthLDAPUrl "ldap://my.example.com:389/ou=User Accounts,dc=my,dc=example,dc=com?sAMAccountName?sub?(objectClass=user)" NONE Require valid-user </Location> If I use the above configuration it continually prompts me with the Basic prompt and I have to eventually select Cancel, which returns a 401 (Authorization Required). If I comment out the bind parts it returns 500 (Internal Server Error), griping that authentication failed: [Mon Nov 02 12:00:00 2009] [warn] [client x.x.x.x] [10744] auth_ldap authenticate: user myuser authentication failed; URI /svn [ldap_search_ext_s() for user failed][Operations error] When I perform the bind using ldapsearch and filter for a simple attribute it returns correctly: ldapsearch -h my.example.com -p 389 -D "cn=userfoo,ou=Service Accounts,ou=User Accounts,dc=my,dc=example,dc=com" -b "ou=User Accounts,dc=my,dc=example,dc=com" -w - "&(objectClass=user)(cn=myuser)" sAMAccountName Unfortunately I have no control or insight into the AD part of the system, only the RHEL server. • SVN Authentication with LDAP and Active Directory

  I am having a few problems getting SVN authentication to work with LDAP / Active Directory. My SVN installation works fine, but after enabling LDAP in my apache vhost, I just can't get my users to authenticate. I can use a selection of LDAP browsers to successfully connect to Active Directory, but just can't seem to get this to work. • SVN checkout returns 400 error

  I'm trying to download the http://code.opencv.org/svn/opencv/trunk/ repository of all of the OpenCV source code - as specified in an OpenCV installation tutorial. In the tutorial, the repository https://code.ros.org/svn/opencv/trunk/ is used, but they moved it to http://code.opencv.org/svn/opencv/trunk/, and now you need a password to access the code.ros.org repository. Anyway, I'm using TortoiseSVN to download the SVN repository. (I get the same error with http://sourceforge.net/projects/win32svn/) I get this: Checkout from http://code.opencv.org/svn/opencv/trunk, revision HEAD, Fully recursive, Externals included Server sent unexpected return value (400 Bad request. Method Unknown) in response to REPORT request for '/svn/opencv/!svn/vcc/default' On the TortoiseSVN site I found something about this 400 error: You're behind a firewall which blocks DAV requests. Most firewalls do that. Either ask your Administrator to change the firewall, or access the repository with https:// instead of http:// like in https://svn.collab.net/repos/svn/ That way you connect to the repository with SSL encryption, which firewalls can't interfere with (if they don't block the SSL port completely). Also some virus scanners (i.e. Kapersky) are known to interfere and cause this error. The code.ros.org repository is https://, so I would be able to access it, but I need a password, so I can't. I made an account on ros.org, but it seems that I still need a password (which I don't know) to access the code repository. My username-password combination does not work. I unblocked all of the TortoiseSVN programs in my firewall settings. Nothing changed. I temporarily stopped my firewall to see if it was interfering with my request. I got the same error. How can I do an svn checkout http://code.opencv.org/svn/opencv/trunk/opencv/ so that I don't get this error? Is there any way to make it https://? Any help would be appreciated!

I'm trying to authorize users via AD so each user have access to repo if he is a member of corespondent group in AD. • Nginx fails upon proxying PUT requests

  Hi. I have an arbitrary web server that supports the full range of HTTP methods, including PUT for uploads. The server runs fine in all tests with different clients. I now wanted to set this server behind an nginx reverse proxy. However, each PUT request fails. The entity body is not forwarded to the backend web server. The header fields are sent, but not body. I searched the nginx proxy documentation and find several hints that PUT might not be supported. But I also found people running svn/ web dav stuff behind nginx, so it should work. Any ideas? Here is my config: server { listen 80; server_name my.domain.name; location / { proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Host $host; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Server $host; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for; proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:8000; } } Client == HTTP PUT ==> Nginx == HTTP Proxy ==> Backend Server The error.log shows no entries concerning this behaviour. • Subversion error: Repository moved permanently to please relocate

  I've set up subversion and apache on my server. If I browse to it through my webbrowser it works fine (http://svn.host.com/reposname). However, if I do a checkout on my machine I get the following error: Command: Checkout from http://svn.host.com/reposname, revision HEAD, Fully recursive, Externals included Error: Repository moved permanently to 'http://svn.host.com/reposname/'; please relocate I checked apache's error log, but it doesn't say anything. (it does now - see edit) My repositories are stored under: /var/www/svn/repos/ My website is stored under: /var/www/vhosts/x/... Here's the conf file for the subdomain: <Location /> DAV svn SVNParentPath /var/www/svn/repos/ AuthType Basic AuthName "Authorization Realm" AuthUserFile /var/www/svn/auth/svn.htpasswd Require valid-user </Location> Authentication works fine. Does anyone know what might be causing this? -- Edit So I restarted apache (again) and tried it again and now it give me an error message, but it doesn't really help. • Limit access on Apache 2.4 to ldap group

  I've upgraded from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS to 14.04 LTS, and suddenly, my Apache 2.4 (previous: Apache 2.2) now lets everybody in to my virtual host, which is unfortunate :-). What am I doing wrong? Anything with the Order/Allow lines? Any help is greatly appreciated!   I have problems with apache on MAC OS Lion 10.7.5. • Subversion: Secure connection truncated

  Hi, I'm trying to set-up a subversion server with apache2/webdav access. I've created the repository and configure Apache according to the official book, and I can see the repository in a webbrowser. The browser shows: conf/ db/ hooks/ locks/ Although clicking any of those links gives an empty xml document like: <D:error> <C:error/> <m:human-readable errcode="2"> Could not open the requested SVN filesystem </m:human-readable> </D:error> I've never used subversion before so I assume this is correct? Anyway, when I try to connect via a command line client, it asks for my password, I give it, then I get the (useless) error message: svn: OPTIONS of 'https://svn.mysite.com': Could not read status line: Secure connection truncated (https://svn.mysite.com) The command I'm using is: svn checkout https://svn.mysite.com/ svn.mysite.com Subversion was installed using Ubuntu's package manager. Its not working properly for all cells and from that particular cell the bold and normal property stops working on whole sheet like sheet2 and sheet3.

• Cocoon lite / XML and XSLT publishing framework

  What publishing frameworks (publishing only, NOT full-blown CMS) based on XML, XSLT sitemaps and pipelines exist, are stable, active, and simpler / lighter than Cocoon? I have glanced at: mod_xslt (http://www.mod-xslt2.com/) which seemed to be exactly that, but looks all but dead, and required a complex setup, and apparently supported only libxslt as an XSLT processor (I'd like to be able to use Saxon and XSLT 2.0 of course). Apache Forrest (http://forrest.apache.org/), but I don't understand if it is really simpler than Cocoon or is rather an additionnal thing on top of Cocoon? What I'm looking for is something that does just this: recieves an HTTP GET "runs it" through a sitemap finds a pipeline: source.xml - xslt1.xsl - xslt2.xsl - xsltn.xsl - serialize runs the pipeline serves the serialized result to the client and: uses Saxon (or is "processor independant") can be installed "lightly", that is: should not require much more configuration than the sitemap Maybe I'm describing an early version of Cocoon, or a future version of an XProc implementation... Anyway, does such a tool exist?

• CVS: command-line diff on a remote CVS server between two HEAD revs

  My CVS-fu is not very strong anymore (after years of SVN'ing and now Mercurial'ing). I'm trying to do a diff between two revisions of the HEAD branch (everything is in the HEAD anyway). I received an IDE already set up to use a :pserver:myname@cvsserver:port/cvs/project CVS. I'm on Windows XP. I do not want to use the IDE (the goal here is to learn CVS a bit more). Apparently I cannot login using SSH to the CVS server. How can I run a remote CVS diff between two HEAD revs using the command line? P.S: I am new here, mod me up so I can comment etc. :)

• Basic OpenGL ES2 (iPhone Simulator) question...

  Hi! I'm trying to modify the fragment shader which is part of the standard iPhone/XCode OpenGL ES template. I want to make it so that every other row of pixels is transparent. I have this code so far: varying lowp vec4 colorVarying; void main() { gl_FragColor = vec4(colorVarying.x, colorVarying.y, colorVarying.z, floor(mod(gl_FragCoord.y, 2.0))); } But when I compile and run I still get the same square moving up and down with no other effects. What am I doing wrong here? I'm a complete n00b at Glsl - I'm trying to teach myself the very basics. • Typecast to an int in Octave/Matlab

  I need to call the index of a matrix made using the linspace command, and based on somde data taken from an oscilloscope. Because of this, the data inputed is a double. However, I can't really call: Time[V0Found] where V0Found is something like 5.2 however, taking index 5 is close enough, so I need to drop the decimal. I used this equation to drop the decimal: V0FoundDec = V0Found - mod(V0Found,1) Time[V0FoundDec] However, eve though that drops the decimal, octave still complains about it. So, what can I do to typecast it to an int? Thank you.

• Zend Framework - tinyMCE - plugin folders are mistaken to be controllers? Help

  Hi guys I'm trying to integrate the tinymce plugin however I'm running into problems such that almost every feature which requires a plugin to be rendered i.e the add url popup or add image pop up - it opens an empty pop up window. Even if I try to open it inline I get the same blank popup window.. I noticed that whenever I click on lets say url button in tinymCE it opens with reference to my localhost and because of that I'm assuming my application is mistaking the containing javascript folder to be some controller or action. How can I fix this please - I've set up mod rewrite to allow clean urls as well as ignore the javascript folder but this is a different issue altogether :( what should I be looking at here.. I can't notice any error sin firebug..

• CakePHP 1.3.0 RC4 Installation

  I have been using 1.2.6 and downloaded 1.3 to try it out. I am using wampserver with Apache 2.2.11. I have mod rewrite enabled. When I bake a new application using the cake 1.3 console, after I verify that the webroot/index.php of the application CAKE_CORE_INCLUDE_PATH is set to the Cake1.3 Installation folder. The result is a page thats missing CSS, missing a method. Typing in localhost/app/index.php will enable the program to find the app. Therefore I have to assume the rewrite module isnt functioning properly for v1.3. Is there something I have to add to the cake installation or app folder to make this function as it should?

• How To: Referencing LAPACK library from FORTRAN 95 in Cygwin

  I have a FORTRAN 95 program that needs to make some calls to the LAPACK library. I recently found out that Cygwin because it can install LAPACK as an extra option. Well, LAPACK exists in the /lib/lapack/ directory as "cyglapack.dll". Having only a very informal training in Fortran programming, I have no idea how to reference a .dll library as opposed to a .mod module. Any suggestions or directions to articles answering my question are GREATLY appreciated! (P.S. I did search first.. I don't think I know the proper terms to get a useful article.)
