  • Good JavaScript engine for animating via Sprite Sheets (not in canvas)

    I've looked around a bit for a great JavaScript Sprite Sheet animator lib/engine but couldn't find any good ones so I thought I'd ask around =). What I'm looking for in the engine is: Animate an image in a non-canvas setting (ex: div via css or img tags) Control frame rate/animation speed Flags to loop or to animate once etc. Are there any engines like this out there? If not I can always make my own but then again, I don't want to re-invent the wheel =].

    I've created a Sphinx document using sphinx-quickstart. Are there any good examples/tutorials about customizing the look? Specifically to modify the header and add a logo. Are there some projects with downloadable Sphinx docs? I would like to see how they've customized their look. update: Adding a logo is supported in the default setup, just not particularly well documented. Look in conf.py for the *_logo settings.`

  • Good Way to Debug Visual Studio Designer Errors

    Hi, Does anyone know a good way to debug errors in the Visual Studio Designer? In our project we have tons of UserControls and many complex forms. For the complex ones, the Designer often throws various exceptions which doesn't help much and was wondering if there's some nice way to figure out what has gone wrong.     My friend has convinced me to start learning some C++, so my question is simple: where can I find some good tutorials for it? But please don't link me to the usual dry boring tutorials that only tells you the function syntax, I need more thorough explanations. I get sidetracked very easily, and I need tutorials that are more on a human level, that I'll not only learn from, but enjoy reading as well. So I'd appreciate any links that would help :)

It would allow the you to let someone learning to program "play" while preparing them to write full fledged C programs.
