  • WAS Server - Apache critical problem

    hi, I am facing critical problem for integration of WAS Server-Apache Server.I am using the WAS server for the connection pooling for the database calling...and my webpage is hosted in the apache server and the webpage serarch box is calling the WAS Server and i am using struts frame work for autocomplete action... but it is working in IE of all versions.. but it is not working any browser... the JS file HTTPsuggestions are going to the structs frame work... but the response is is giving as null even i am giving the xmlHttpGetSuggestions.status =200 || xmlHttpGetSuggestions.status =0 but i am not getting the autocomplete feature. can you please help to slove this problem.....   • Memory leak - debugger and memory analyzer disagreeing

    There is a memory leak in my android game - I've managed to narrow it down to a certain object, which has a list of objects to render on a texture. This object clears the list every time it draws though - so I can't work out how its managed to get thousands of elements in the list. I checked in the debugger and it doesn't have all these thousands of elements - usually about 2-20 which is what I'd expect... The game definitely slows down progressively only if I have rendering to texturing on.     Hi, Currently I am doing the following in a loop (at least 300 times): - create a HSSFWorkbook from a template file - add some values to specific cells in the workbook - save the workbook as a new excel file The first line takes about 70% of the time (reading excel file). What I would like to do is to take this out of the loop, and read the file only once. In the loop, I would like to copy or clone the template HSSFWorkbook. However, I can't find anything about copying/cloning a HSSFWorkbook. Did some of you do this before? Any tips?

  • How to configure MySQL connection properties with Spring, Hibernate 3.3 and c3p0?

    I am currently in the process of upgrading an application from Hibernate 3.2 to Hibernate 3.3. I though I'd stick with the default connection pool (Hibernate changed its default from Commons DBCP to c3p0) as I don't have any good reason to choose a non-default pool. At least non but having used DBCP before. The upgrade went pretty much without any problems so far. The only thing I can't get to work is passing properties to the underlying MySQL JDBC4Connection. Up to now, I used DBCP's BasicDataSource.addConnectionProperty(String,String) to pass properties (useUnicode=true, characterEncodin=UTF-8, characterSetResults=UTF-8, zeroDateTimeBehavior=convertToNull). However, I can't find any way to do the same with c3p0 other than including them in the JDBC URL. (That's something I'd like to avoid as I wanna keep the URL configurable without forcing users to include those parameters.) So far, I've tried to use a ConnectionCustomizer without success. Any other suggestions?

  • Powermock Slows Down Test Startup on Eclipse/Fedora 10 when on NTFS partition

    I've just started having a proper play with Powermock and noticed that it slows down test startup immensely. A quick look at top while it was running shows that mount.nfts-3g was taking up most of the CPU. I moved Eclipse and my source directory to ext3 partitions to see if that was a problem and the tests now startup quicker but there's still a noticeable delay. Is this normal with Powermock or am I missing something obvious?

  • Filling SWT table object using a separated thread class ...

    Hi all I've got a code snippet by the swt team that does exactly what I need. However, there is a part I want to separate into another class, in particular, the whole inline stuff. In response to my former question, it has been suggested that Callable should be used in order to implement threaded objects. It is suggested to make use of an implementation of runnable or better callable, since I do need some kind of return. However, I don't get it. My problems are: In the original code, within the inline implementation of the method run, some of the parents objects are called. How would I do this when the thread is separated? Pass the object via the C'tor's parameter? In the original code, another runnable object is nested within the runnable implementation. What is it good for? How to implement this when having separated the code? Furthermore, this nested runnable again calls objects created by the main method. Please, have mercy with me, but I am still quite a beginner and my brain is near collapsing :-( All I want is to separate all the threaded stuff into another class and make the program do just the same thing as it already does. I use the following code to start endless EJB 3 timer then deploying it on JBOSS 4.2.3 @Stateless public class SimpleBean implements SimpleBeanRemote,TimerService { @Resource TimerService timerService; private Timer timer ; @Timeout public void timeout(Timer timer) { System.out.println("Hello EJB"); } } then calling it timer = timerService.createTimer(10, 5000, null); It works well. I created a client class that calls a method that creates the timer and a method that is called when the timer times out. I forget to call cancel then it does not stop .redeploy with cancel call never stop it. restart Jboss 4.2.3 never stop it. How I can stop EJB timer ? Thanks for helping.

    Hi all, I am looking at using hibernate validator for a requirement of mine. I want to validate a bean where properties may have multiple validation checks. e.g. class MyValidationBean { @NotNull @Length( min = 5, max = 10 ) private String myProperty; } But if this property fails validation I want a specific error code to be associated with the ConstraintViolation, regardless of whether it failed because of @Required or @Length, although I would like to preserve the error message. class MyValidationBean { @NotNull @Length( min = 5, max = 10 ) @ErrorCode( "1234" ) private String myProperty; } Something like the above would be good but it doesn't have to be structured exactly like that. I can't see a way to do this with hibernate validator. Is it possible? Thanks.

  • Why doesnt R.raw.'songname' not work on android devices?

    I have some media (Audio tracks) on an app... With file path 'R.raw.test' I use some code to get it into a mediaplayer... MediaPlayer.create(Textbox.this, R.raw.fly); And it works PERFECTLY on the Android Emulator... (Plays track on click of button) Can someone explain why, when I put it on my Archos (5 IT) it doesnt work at all? -As soon as the button is clicked, it crashes... Do you have to do something to file paths or what? Please help... Thanks alot... James

  • How do I get the size of a response from a Spring 2.5 HTTP remoting call?

    I've been poking around the org.springframework.remoting.httpinvoker package in Spring 2.5 trying to find a way to get visibility into the size of the response, but I keep going around in circles. Via another question I saw here, I think what I want to do is get a handle on the InputStream that represents the response from the server, and then wrap it with an Apache commons-io CountingInputStream. What's the best way to go about doing this? For the moment, I'd be happy with just printing the size of the response to stdout, but eventually I want to store it in a well-known location in my app for optional display.

  • Spring bean's DESTROY-METHOD attribute and web-application "prototype"d bean

    Can get work the attribute "destroy-method". First, even if I type non-existing method name into "destroy-method" attribute, Spring initialization completes fine (already strange!). Next, when a bean has a "prototype" scope, then I suppose it must be destroyed before the application is closed. That not happens, it is simply never called in my case. Though, after extracting this bean I can call this method explicitly and it does its job. Could you explain why this method is never called in my Spring 2.5 case? p.s. The method exists, it is public and has no arguments. It seems to be a more difficult task then I thought. The problem is that this destroy method is called whenever the context is closed, and this is a rare case. My question is this: I have a web app. I have a "prototype"-scoped bean. What I need is when the current session is closed, this destroy method was automatically called by Spring. I can do it by hand, but is there any solution how to make Spring do this job? It destroys the bean after the session is destroyed, it might be possible for Spring to call a method on that bean before destroying it?

E.g: public class X{ ... @ManyToOne(optional=false) private Y iField; ... } That is correctly working with a particular schema. I know want to change this instance field iField to a List and a Many to Many relationship. public class X{ ... @ManyToMany(optional=false) private List<Y> iField; ... } What steps should I follow?   • skip-limit ignored for skippable exception thrown from writer

    i am working on a project with spring batch 2.0.2 and have skippable exception set up in the config. for exceptions thrown from the processor everything works fine. it skips and once the limit is execeed the job fails (or stops). for exceptions thrown from the writer (same chunk) it keeps skipping. the skip-limit doesnt seem to matter. maybe i missunderstood and skipping and writer don't go together or maybe i am missing a configuration. does anyone know how to skip issues - with a limit - within the writer properly?
