Is there any way of getting these method names back into my stack traces? This is a release configuration, not debug.

  • Managing multiple apps with one Google Analytics account?

    I've just setup a Google Analytics for Mobile Apps account and I've implemented the SDK in my iPhone app with no trouble at all. However, I haven't figured out how to manage multiple apps with one account. It seems fairly easy to setup multiple subdomains when dealing with websites and I've noticed the javascript code has a setSubdomain function that doesn't seem to be present in the iPhone SDK. Is there any way I can have google analytics differentiate my different apps for the same account?

  • How do I access the ApplicationSettings section from another assembly?

    I have a dll that is referenced by the parent (executing) assembly. In the ApplicationSettings section of the app.config for the parent assembly I have some settings that can be accessed in the normal intellisense manner (e.g. Properties.Settings.Default.SMTPServer). How do I access these settings from the referenced dll? I obviously can't use intellisense as they are not in the same assembly!

  • How can I find installed programs dependent on any version of the .NET framework?

    I have an application that uses .NET 3.5SP1, but I have been having a LOT of random crashes with it. I am starting to narrow the fields of possible causes to the framework itself, where I suspect some other app is installing a lower patch version. Is there any apps in the wild, or anything I can slap together that can tell me what apps that are installed that depend on .NET to run? Their minimum required version would be nice to know also, but not necessary.

While writing a data import script, I stumbled upon an issue with the default autocommit behavior. I would guess there are other "gotchas" that might crop up. MyViewController *viewController = [[MyViewController alloc] init]; [myWindow addSubview:viewController.view]; [viewController release]; As I understand, myWindow should be retaining viewController.view for as long as the window needs it. So why does this cause my app to crash on launch? (commenting out the last line fixes the problem, as expected)

    I am creating an app which will have a question in a UILabel and a multiple choice answers displayed in UITableView, each row showing a multiple choice. Questions and answers will vary, so I need this UITableView to be dynamic in height. I would like to find a "sizeToFit" work around for the table. Where the table's frame is set to the height of all it's content. Can anyone advise on how I can achieve this? Thank you.

    I'm getting an error when I run the Spree sample data. It occurs when Spree tries to load in the product data, specifically the product images. Here's the error I'm getting: * Execute db:load_file loading ruby <GEM DIR>/sample/lib/tasks/../../db/sample/spree/products.rb -- Processing image: ror_tote.jpeg rake aborted! /var/folders/91/63kgbtds2czgp0skw3f8190r0000gn/T/ror_tote.jpeg20121007-21549-2rktq1 is not recognized by the 'identify' command. <GEM DIR>/paperclip-2.7.1/lib/paperclip/geometry.rb:31:in `from_file' <GEM DIR>/spree/core/app/models/spree/image.rb:35:in `find_dimensions' I've made sure ImageMagick is installed correctly, as previously I was having problems with it. Removing the additional digits (is this a timestamp?) after the file extension and running the Paperclip.run command manually in Pry gives me a different error: Cocaine::ExitStatusError: Command 'identify -format %wx%h :file' returned 1. Expected 0 I've also tried manually updating the Paperclip gem in Spree to 3.0.2 and still get the same error. So, I'm not really sure what else to try. Is there still something incorrect with my ImageMagick setup?

  • highlight parent window text when spell checking from child window

    I'm working on a simple spell checking app for a lecture that I'm giving. I've got the basic spell checking code working just fine using a child form and NHunspell - great lib, by the way. However, I'd like for the parent textbox to show the highlighted text for reference, and while I'm setting the SelectedText properties accordingly, the text is not highlighted in the parent. Canceling the child window and the parent text is highlighted. Anybody know how I can do this?

    Hi, I have to manage XML documents and Strings in my app. In terms of efficiency and memory usage, will a collection like ArrayList be much more expensive than String[]? Also, I could store the content as a regular String or XML. Is working with XML also more expensive? (When I say expensive, I am referring to the use of system resources.) Surely, if there is an error, you would want the app to stop what it was doing, rollback any data changes, and inform the user of the error, rather than just resuming.   • Importing files in Python from __init__.py

    Suppose I have the following structure: app/ __init__.py foo/ a.py b.py c.py __init__.py a.py, b.py and c.py share some common imports (logging, os, re, etc). Is it possible to import these three or four common modules from the __init__.py file so I don't have to import them in every one of the files? Edit: My goal is to avoid having to import 5-6 modules in each file and it's not related to performance reasons.
