Let's assume you have a big complex index page, that shows news articles and stuff. It's not going to change very often. Can you cache it somehow on the serverside, so requests don't force to server to dynamically generate the entire page every time someone visits it? Or does ASP.NET do this automatically?
If so, how does it know if something has changed?
I need to check if an element is x pixels from the bottom of the page, to dynamically load new content. currently, scrollTop and height do not match even if the bar is on the bottom.
jquery is allowed, although basic javascript would be more helpful.
Hi. Sorry about the vocabulary question, but I'm writing my master thesis and it's a pain to repeat "frameworks that support dynamic class creation" again and again. Is there a term for that?
Some clarification: I mean that you can create a class at runtime, i.e., dynamically. For example, .NET supports this with the System.Reflection namespace.
Thanks :)
Hi everyone,
I want to be able to re-order the columns I have in a GridView.
The GridView is populated from a DataTable which is dynamically generated in a seperate class and returned to the aspx code behind page.
Is this possible?
Thanks in advance
Im having a table in which im creating a label dynamically.
'<td>' + '<label for="Name" id = ' + value + '>' + text + '</label></td>'
I want to retrieve the id of the label and I`m doing the following which is not working:
How can I get the Id of the label?
function ReadNames() {
$('#Table tr').each(function() {
NameID.push($(this).find('label').val());
}); }
Right now, I'm trying to separate out a set of constantly changing classes into their own dll and dynamically load them using MEF. My problem is that whenever I try and overwrite the dll while the app is running, it says it's in use.
Is there anyway to configure MEF to let me overwrite the dll and pick up the changes while the app is still running?
Suppose I have a DLL which is built with LARGEADDRESSAWARE linker flag set. Now I have an application dynamically linking to this DLL. Does this make my application LARGEADDRESSAWARE?
If not then, does it make sense to have this flag set for any DLL?
So what I have is a bunch of dynamically created textboxs that when the user enters some data and either tabs out or clicks out some calculations are done. After the page posts back control focus is lost. What I need is to be able to set focus back to the control that was tabbed to or clicked into not the control that data was entered into.
I'd like to know if there is a way to dynamically modify/access the data contained in html images just as if they were an html5 canvas element. With canvas, you can in javascript access the raw pixel data with getImageData() and putImageData(), but I have thus far been not able to figure out how to do this with images.
Hello,
I have been curious about dynamically create class at runtime in C# and stumbled across this article. http://olondono.blogspot.com/2008/02/creating-code-at-runtime.html I am curious to hear some pros and cons regarding construction of a class at runtime.
Any opinions?
I have the following code which loads and html file into a webview
- (void)awakeFromNib{
NSString *resourcesPath = [[NSBundle mainBundle] resourcePath];
NSString *htmlPath = [resourcesPath stringByAppendingString:@"/main.html"];
[[self mainFrame] loadRequest:[NSURLRequest requestWithURL:[NSURL fileURLWithPath:htmlPath]]];
}
How would i dynamically load a css file (in the most efficient manner) as it does not suit to have the css file link in the html file
I have an array thats generated dynamically and it has some empty elements. How do I get rid of empty elements from an array?
array
0 = string '' (length=0)
1 = string 'x%6wm' (length=5)
2 = string 'x%6wmvf' (length=7)
3 = string 'x%645' (length=5)
4 = string '' (length=0)
And I want it to become like
array
0 = string 'x%6wm' (length=5)
1 = string 'x%6wmvf' (length=7)
2 = string 'x%645' (length=5)
Thanks
I am using the XmlSerializer like this,
XmlSerializer xs = new XmlSerializer(typeof(myType));
Now I have 5 different "myType". How do I pass the specific type dynamically so I don't have to repeat the same code 5 times?
Trying to convert this tax-like IRS function http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1817920/calculating-revenue-share-at-different-tiers to SQL. The assumption is the table would be one column (price) and the tiers will be added dynamically.
My first attempt has some case statements that didn't work out well. I have since scrapped it :) Thanks for the help!
I have a LinearLayout with fixed view. I dynamically inject images in it (ImageViews) but I dunno in advance how many of them will be inserted. I'd like to have a layout where images wrap and go to a new line authomatically when they exceed the available width of the father (LinearLayout)
how do you recommend I should move?
thanks a lot
hi,
I need to trigger the jQuery Media parser to replace links with flash content, for my LightBox content (which is dynamically loaded through AJAX).
I need more or less a step by step guide...
thanks
in order to dynamically create a form, i have to find the property types of a model's properties at runtime.
appengine docs says that Model.properties() will return a dictionary of properties name and their class type. when i use this method in my code, only the name is returned and the classtype value is always empty.
I have a treeview control where I am dynamically selecting a node depending on user interaction. when a node is selected I want to be able to have the scrollbar go to the location of that selected node in the tree. The scrollbar is simply made by overflow:auto in the div tag where the treeview is located. Can someone give me some detailed code to accomplish this? Thanks in advance.
Hi all,
I have a javascript that dynamically creates many <img> tags, and appends them to various divs.
I want to prevent these images from wrapping; when the screen resolution is not enough to contain them the browser should create horizontal scroll-bars.
Sorry for this bad English.
Hi,
I am developing pages in php dynamically i.e data gets filled up from mysql DB. how do i assign a proper meta data and description for these dynamic pages so that google recognises it properly.
What needs to be passed in page so that google takes description properly. when i search a page in google. it takes the data in page as description not description tag contents
I'm generating code dynamically, currently using String.Format and embedding placeholders - but reformatting the C# code for use as a template is a pain, and I think using a T4 template would be better.
However, the code generation will be happening on a running system, so I need to know that I can safely and legally redistribute the Microsoft T4 Engine with my product.
Anyone else done this? Or know the (legal) answer?
Hello dear commmunity, good day!
I run a little site (now for several months ) that has users accessing big files, for
download as well for streaming to the browser.
It's fairly active, so assuming the worst, how bad is getting php to read the files that would be stored outside of the webroot and then getting it to echo it to a page dynamically for the browser to then read?
My question is: how bad is fread() etc in this context!?
