Sometimes I wonder what these programming language offer which make them top choice of IT companies, if I plan to become a freelance web developer is it worth learning C# or Java. I read beginner's book for both of them, but to master any of them require some time investment.

    I think everyone here would be knowing that, if I am logged in any of the google's website(i.e www.orkut.com), I don't need to authenticate again for www.gmail.com. How google is managing this. I think, it would be a cookie stored on user's browser. But, if it is a cookie, how different domains are able to read this cookie. What do you say.

    Hello Everyone, I have anchor tag <a id="click" href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="disable();" style="">Clickme</a>. When html loads it showing clickme,when i click anchor link,it calls disable() function,In disable function i am trying to hide it using below code: document.getElementById("click").style.display='none'; But page never hides that anchor link,Please let me know if i am doing anything wrong.
