• Trying to Integrate Five9 and Apptivio [on hold]

  Five9 is a calling system application and Apptivio will be used to store client information for purchased products. Specifically what I need is an example code that will allow me to access Five9's CRM system using the access key and transfer a persons first and last name, for example, to Apptivio. The issue is I have never dealt with this type of system and I cannot find any information for it other than the Web2Campaign that was sent to me by Five9. Lets say this is the code from Five9 F9key=first_name&F9key=last_name&first_name=jon&last_name=smith Once this information is placed into Five9 I must update Apptivio with this information. I am lost as to how to send this information to Apptivio.

  Apress Books Introducing Visual C# 2010 - ISBN 978-1-4302-3171-4 Having read through parts 1 and 2 of this 4 -part book, I am very impressed by its practical approach to C#. I cannot improve on the by-line "Get started on your C# journey with an expert by your side leading by example" Adam Freeman teaches C# by precept and example. I suspect he drives a Volvo C30 as it comes up in many of the code examples!  Throughout the book there are numerous links back and forth so as to avoid overcomplicating the current topic. I have have no hesitation in recommending this book both to programmers starting out with C# and to the seasoned professional. It is a book that should be on every C# development team's book shelf. There are a few typographical errors in the book, one of which has already made it to the errata, however these are very minor and do not detract from the usefulness of this book.

  which is better for a new Linux user, Linux Mint or Alinux i had trouble getting Alinux to run after install Mint ran fine. We are also with the Tucson Refugee ministry and we have computers given to us all the time then we reload the OS clean it up then we give them to the refugee families. We need something that will run on older computers with 256 or 512m of ram, and i do not want to use Micro Soft Please help. PS is there any other Linux OS you would recommend?????? • NetBeans "Find Usages" Tool Integrates JSF Expression Language

  I saw this by Adam on Twitter today: Interesting. Let's try it. Here's my method "getCustomerId". I select it, right-click, and choose "Find Usages" (or press Alt-F7): A nice dialog appears: Then click "Find" and, guess what, this is what I see (click to enlarge it): Clearly, as you can see, I'm not only finding the Java controller class where the getter is used, but also the Facelets files, and, within those, the exact lines where the JSF expression language makes use of the getter. This is not a new feature, tried it and got the same result in 7.1.1, but it's really cool to know about nonetheless.

I'm presenting in a session entitled "What’s New with Oracle VM Server for x86 and SPARC Architectures: A Technical Deep Dive", along with Adam Hawley. We'll be talking about Oracle's overall virtualization strategy, what's new with Oracle server virtualization on both x86 and SPARC, as well as an update on Oracle's virtualization management capabilities.   I followed these instructions and now have a simple JSF 2.0 tag handler: The reason I created this is because I'm curious about whether it would be possible to change the tag created above: <my:hello name="Jack" /> ...to something like this: <my:chart type="pie" xAxis="${some-expression}" yAxis="${some-expression}" width="300" height="500" /> Has anyone tried this? That could be a way to incorporate a JavaFX chart into a Java EE application. That's different to how Adam Bien is doing it in LightFish, but might be a simpler and more reusable way of doing the same thing.

• Update Manager Partitions

  Perhaps this is completely stupid, but here's my inquiry: I have Ubuntu 12.04 installed on an external hard drive. On that HD there are 4 partitions. Two for operating systems, two for swap (unnecessary but I like it that way). The actual computer itself has Windows 7. If I use the Update manager to update to 12.10 or even 13.04, would the new Ubuntu install itself on the same partition it already was on? The other operating system I'm running on the Hard Drive is Lubuntu, for when I need to run Linux on older computers, if that matters. Thanks, Adam

• WPF TreeView similar to Organizational chart with connecting lines

  I have modified my treeview to look like an Org chart using the example shown in the Code Project website (Author Josh Smith). I need connecting lines in the treeview to make it look exact to org chart. I found references pointing to the below site http://wpfblog.info/2008/05/26/turning-a-treeview-into-an-org-chart-with-connectors/ But I am not able to view the content. Probably the webpage has been moved. Can anybody help?

• Binding to a dictionary in Silverlight with INotifyPropertyChanged

  In silverlight, I can not get INotifyPropertyChanged to work like I want it to when binding to a dictionary. In the example below, the page binds to the dictionary okay but when I change the content of one of the textboxes the CustomProperties property setter is not called. The CustomProperties property setter is only called when CustomProperties is set and not when the values within it are set. I am trying to do some validation on the dictionary values and so am looking to run some code when each value within the dictionary is changed. Is there anything I can do here? • Adding events in Fullcalendar on CodeIgniter

  I just implemented Adam Shaw's popular calendar called 'fullcalendar' (http://arshaw.com/fullcalendar/) using CodeIgniter. But I require addition and other operations on events from my database. I was able to find one CakePHP plugin with the same purpose from here, http://bakery.cakephp.org/articles/view/events-plugin. Since I'm not in touch with CakePHP, Can anyone help with this on CodeIgniter..?

• Comparing strings with user-created string class

  Basically, I created my own string class, mystring.h and mystring.c. What I want to do is write a function that compares two "strings" and then returns 1 first word is larger than the second, the opposite if word 2 is larger than word 1, and 0 if the two words are equal. • LINQ to SQL: To Attach or Not To Attach

  So I'm have a really hard time figuring out when I should be attaching to an object and when I shouldn't be attaching to an object. First thing's first, here is a small diagram of my (very simplified) object model. Say, for instance, I want to save a new user. In my business layer I create a new user. var user = new User(); user.FirstName = "Bob"; user.LastName = "Smith"; user.Username = "bob.smith"; user.Password = StringUtilities.EncodePassword("MyPassword123"); user.Organization = someOrganization; // Assume that someOrganization was loaded and it's data context has been garbage collected. Now I want to go save this user. var userRepository = new RepositoryFactory.GetRepository<UserRepository>(); userRepository.Save(user); Neato! Here is my save logic: public void Save(User user) { if (!DataContext.Users.Contains(user)) { user.Id = Guid.NewGuid(); user.CreatedDate = DateTime.Now; user.Disabled = false; //DataContext.Organizations.Attach(user.Organization); DataContext.Users.InsertOnSubmit(user); } else { DataContext.Users.Attach(user); } DataContext.SubmitChanges(); // Finished here as well. user.Detach(); } So, here we are. You'll notice that I comment out the bit where the DataContext attachs to the organization. If I attach to the organization I get the following exception: NotSupportedException: An attempt has been made to Attach or Add an entity that is not new, perhaps having been loaded from another DataContext. This is not supported. Hmm, that doesn't work. Let me try it without attaching (i.e. comment out that line about attaching to the organization). DuplicateKeyException: Cannot add an entity with a key that is already in use. WHAAAAT? I can only assume this is trying to insert a new organization which is obviously false. So, what's the deal guys? What should I do? What is the proper approach? It seems like L2S makes this quite a bit harder than it should be...

  Hello Guys, I'm very new to facebook and wanted to know if this is even possible to do with facebook API. If a user searches for a name on my website - say "Jamie Smith" - I want to pass this name to facebook and find all users that match that name - so if I can get back their photo and name to display on my site - so users can identify the right person. I'm using PHP so if there's any example or link that you can provide will be really helpful. Thanks
