    I will have a different type of string(string will not have fixed format,they will be different every time) from them I want to remove some specific substring.Like the string can be OPTIDX 26FEB2009 NIFTY CE 2500 OPTIDX NIFTY 30 Jul 2009 4600.00 PE OPTSTK ICICIBANK 30 Jul 2009 700.00 PA I want to extract Rs.(digit) from those string and store it into one variable and then in those string there should not be Rs.(digit). What should be the regex for that to match Rupees ?

    I have a fairly simple requirement -I have a table with the following (relevant) structure. with cte as( select 1 id,'AA,AB,AC,AD' names union all select 2,'BA,BB' union all select 3,'CA,CB,CC,CD,CE' union all select 4,'DA,DB,DC' ) i would like to create a select statement which will split each "names" column into multiple rows. For example the first row should produce 1,'AA' 1,'AB' 1,'AC' 1,'AD' Can we do it using only SQL. This is failry easy to do in Oracle.

    Hello, We have a series of products with built in web servers each of which has a login page, a customer wants to create a web portal in which they log into once, from there they can simply click on any of the devices (external websites) and it will automatically login to that site and redirect them to the page after the login screen. The portal is using ASP.NET MVC, the external devices are Windows CE based units running embedded web servers. Can find a lot on scraping, but not much on redirection after the event.     I was browsing around and found this blog post: http://erikej.blogspot.com/2010/04/version-3-of-exportsqlce-now-available.html (It is for a great add in if you user SQL Server CE.) On that post I saw an screen shot of SSMS with images in the results. How is this done? I have images in my database (PNG files that are serialized via memory stream), but I just see numbers when I select the image column.

  • In Magento, is it possible to populate your product models from an external API instead of the Magento DB?

    I currently have Magento 1.7 CE installed. I want to use the Magento Product Models, except I want to get the price for the product from an external API (our pricing exists outside of Magento). I know what I could use the Magento API to import all the prices from our existing database, but our pricing changes very often, and we would then need to maintain two databases. Basically I'm wondering if there is something in Magento I can overwrite to call our API instead of the DB?

    If I allocate memory in one thread in C++ (either new or malloc) can I de-allocate it in another, or must both occur in the same thread? Ideally, I'd like to avoid this in the first place, but I'm curious to know is it legal, illegal or implementation dependent. Edit: The compilers I'm currently using include VS2003, VS2008 and Embedded C++ 4.0, targetting XP, Vista, Windows 7 and various flavours of Windows CE / PocketPC & Mobile. So basically all Microsoft but across an array of esoteric platforms.

    Is there a way to get a record count or a space-used value for all the tables in a SQL Server Compact database file (SQL CE 3.5.1)? I saw this question, http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2075026/sql-server-compact-count-records-get-space-used-for-all-tables-in-database So perhaps another option would be, is there an easy way to move a sqlce database to SQL Express? Would that give realistic measurement of the database table sizes?

I am having trouble narrowing the arguments or accessing them to test. I initially tried the following with little success if (argv[1] == L"-s") I also tried using the narrow function of wostringstream on each character but this crashed the application. But i want "Type" to be a combobox so the user can select the apropriate type of the appointment (its a list of appointments connected to an event). This combobox should be filled with data thats inside a table of the sql ce database (apptype). This table is not static, the users can add and delete items from this list. I have tried a few ways i found via google, but failed. I guess i'm having problems understanding how this works/should work. I hope someone can help me :( Thanks in advance
