  • How to use HTTP Live Streaming protocol in iPhone SDk 3.0

    Hi Guys, i have developed on IPhone application and submitted to App store. But my application got rejected based on below criteria. Thank you for submitting your yyyyyyyy application. We have reviewed your application and have determined that it cannot be posted to the App Store at this time because it is not using the HTTP Live Streaming protocol to broadcast streaming video. HTTP Live Streaming is required when streaming video feeds over the cellular network, in order to have an optimal user experience and utilize cellular best practices. This protocol automatically determines bandwidth available to users and adjusts the bandwidth appropriately, even as bandwidth streams change. This allows you the flexibility to have as many streams as you like, as long as 64 kbps is set as the baseline feed. In my apps i have to stream prerecorded m4v and mp3 files from my server. I used MPMoviePlayerController to stream and play those videos / audio. How to implement the HTTP Live Streaming Protocol in my apps? Also can i get some sample code? Thanks in advance!

  • Link to Hotmail / Windows Live email compose -- maintaining BCC

    My app creates a mailto-esque link that takes the end user to a Hotmail compose screen with various attributes pre-filled. Most of the functionality I need is working: to, cc, subject, body. However, Hotmail seems to be stripping out any BCC attributes that I pass into the URL. For example, this link works as advertised: http://mail.live.com/mail/EditMessageLight.aspx?n=&[email protected]&[email protected];%[email protected]&subject=the%20subject&body=the%20body I get the one email address in the To field and two in the CC field. But when I try the exact same URL except substituting "bcc" for "cc", the two addresses are nowhere to be found. http://mail.live.com/mail/EditMessageLight.aspx?n=&[email protected]&[email protected];%[email protected]&subject=the%20subject&body=the%20body This link format is posted all over the web (along with a variation like http://mail.live.com/default.aspx?rru=compose%3f[attributes] ), but none of the various settings that I've tried actually work to bring in the BCC addresses. I need the BCC so that the email recipients are not given each others' email addresses. My versions of this url for regular old mailto, along with Gmail and Yahoo Mail, work perfectly. Surprise surprise.

  • jquery .submit live click runs more than once

    I use the following code to run my form ajax requests but when i use the live selector on a button i can see the ajax response fire 1 time, then if i re-try it 2 times, 3 times, 4 times and so on... I use .live because i also have a feature to add a post and that appears instantly so the user can remove it without refreshing the page...   • jquery post and get request different on local intranet and live server

    Hi, I have been developing an asp.net mvc application where i need to make large amounts of jquery post and get request to call controller methods and get back json result. Everything is working fine. The problem is i had to write different jquery post and get request url on local intranet(deployed by making virtual directory) and live server. the current jquery request url is given as below: $.post("/ProjectsChat/GetMessages", { roomId: 24 },.......... now this format of url for jquery request works fine for live server but not for local intranet. Since on local intranet i have made a virtual directory. It only works when i append the name of the virtual directory like this "$.post("MyProjectVirutalDirName/ProjectsChat..................." I am sure most of you must have come across same problem. now i have made a full project, there are large number of jquery requests made, i want to test the application by deploying on local intranet and fix the bugs. Changing all the jquery requests for local intranet doesn't seem feasible solution to me, i am really in a big problem, i can't deploy the same project on live server just like that and test it there, client will kill me. I need some expert advice. Please help Thanks

    I have a situation that I need help with. I backed up my Files on Windows XP using the System BackUp utility/wizard, and then Installed a new operating system on the machine. Now I want to restore my old files via the .bak file but it is not being recognized at all. Did I do this wrong or is there a way to still get back my old files on my new OS ? Thanks in advance!

    Our office XP computer crashed this afternoon. I know that we had Norton Ghost doing regular backups on an external hard drive. My question is how do you restore from that backup? PS. When I plug in the external drive into my own Windows 7 machine it has two folders: - 9c590f17be2ef53d13bb00be2a - Norton Backups I can't open the first one (it says I don't have permissions) but the second one contains a bunch of files with the .v2i extension. Any help would be appreciated?

All Exchange emails in Gmail are listed as sent by (unknown sender). How do you upload Exchange emails into Gmail from Outlook while maintaining the correct From and To email addresses?

  • Can I open a Disk2vhd created VHD file with 7-zip?

    I've created a VHD file of my C: drive, for backup purposes, using Disk2vhd 1.0. When I try opening the file using 7-Zip 4.65 (to view the contents) I get the error: "Can not open the file XXX as an archive". Does anyone know why this is? I have to assume that either the VHD creation failed and it's a corrupted file, or Disk2vhd creates a variation of the VHD format that 7-Zip doesn't support.

    Hi Since a few days when I start Windows Vista i get a Popup from "Encrypting File System" (coming from process efsui.exe) asking me to backup the certificate and key. I don't know what i did to get this message (The last SW i did install was google desktop). Now i'm wondering what directories or file are encrypted with EFS. Is there a way to found out?     I've got a set of .tar.gz files, which are duplicity backup files (either full backups or incremental ones). I'd like to compute which directories take the most space on backups. This will most probably be a different figure to calculating which directories take the most space on a live filesystem because I need to account for how often are files changing (and therefore taking space on incremental backups) and how compressible are files. I know that while many other archive formats store compressed files as different entities inside the archive file, .tar.gz files do not, and therefore it is impossible to get an exact amount of storage taken in the archive by a single file after compression. Are there any tools to calculate at least some estimates?

    I'm struggling with writing a python script that automatically grabs the zip fail containing all my google calendars and stores it (as a backup) on my harddisk. I'm using ClientLogin to get an authentication token (and successfully can obtain the token). Unfortunately, i'm unable to retrieve the file at https://www.google.com/calendar/exporticalzip It always asks me for the login credentials again by returning a login page as html (instead of the zip). This seems like something easy to do on EC2 and impossible to do on rackspace cloud. Also i know rightscale can work with rackspace cloud only for ubuntu images. Is it possible to do this with rightscale easily if its not yet available directly in rackspacecloud?
