  • Run Google-apps-script on Google-Spreadsheet event?

    If I create a Google apps script, can I hook it up to Google spreadsheet to run based on an event, or must I manually invoke it? I don't know if Google spreadsheet supports any events. For example: a Google app script that strikes out rows in the spreadsheet that have been marked completed by way of a column having the digit 1 beside completed rows. I would like this to run whenever a row is modified, or even when the spreadsheet is first loaded.

    I am building an installer for my windows app and have done this through a setup/installer project in visual studio. I was wondering how to customize he UI of the finish dialog box? I want to add a couple of check-boxes and launch an app after the user closes the finish box. Is there a way to do this in Visual studio itself or does it require any other tools? Apart from unit tests, it allows to do UI interaction tests, typically using AutomationPeer subclasses (eg ButtonAutomationPeer to interact with a Button). Are there AutomationPeer classes to test the interaction with the following: OpenFileDialog SaveFileDialog MessageBox In unit tests it would be possible to stub these, but for integration and browser testing it would be great to have this testable.

  • Duplicate System.Web.UI.AsyncPostBackTrigger Controls keep getting inserted automatically, causing P

    I have an update panel with a number of [asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls, and everything was working fine. But now, something keeps inserting duplicate AsyncTriggers, and instead of simply being [asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls they're [System.Web.UI.AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls, and I get parser errors as a result. So I delete the duplicate triggers, and they get re-inserted within a few minutes, seemingly randomly. Anyone know whats going on here?

I've found good instructions for creating the links to launch the Market but this assumes that you are the developer of the app in question and know the exact package name. Is there any way to get the package name, other than just contacting the developers and asking? For the iPhone, I found easy instructions for getting the URL I need from the iTunes store, so I'm looking for info like that.

    I have seen yahoo ui using div for every node of the tree. Is this a good thing to do. Seems like every node including leaf node is heavily nested. I saw a div, table, tr, td being used for creating a node. Is this necessary. Is there a better way to do the same. I tried to us tr for every node. Are there any issues with this approach Thanks

Are they already obsolete and what are the current guidelines ?
