  I have a list of dictionaries: [{'title':'New York Times', 'title_url':'New_York_Times','id':4}, {'title':'USA Today','title_url':'USA_Today','id':6}, {'title':'Apple News','title_url':'Apple_News','id':2}] I'd like to sort it by the title, so elements with A go before Z: [{'title':'Apple News','title_url':'Apple_News','id':2}, {'title':'New York Times', 'title_url':'New_York_Times','id':4}, {'title':'USA Today','title_url':'USA_Today','id':6}] What's the best way to do this? Also, is there a way to ensure the order of each dictionary key stays constant, e.g., always title, title_url, then id? Thank you.

• replace values in form.data when form fails validation

  Hi I have a form field which requires a json object as its value when it is rendered. When the form is submitted it returns a comma seperated string of ids as its value (not a json string). however if the form does not validate i want to turn this string of ids back into a json string so it will display properly (is uses jquery to render the json object correctly). how would i do this? I was thinking of overwriting the form.clean method but when I tried to change self.data['fieldname'] I got the error 'This QueryDict instance is immutable' and when i tried to change self.cleaned_data['fieldname'] it didn't make a difference to the value of the field. • WPF ComboBox drop-down (data bound) values not changing

  I bind the ItemsSource of a ComboBox to an ObservableCollection<MyClass>. In code I change the collection (e.g. edit the MyClass.Name property). The problem: the change is not reflected in the dropdown box if the ComboBox, yet when I seled the item from the dropdown it is displayed correctly in the selected item box of the ComboBox. What's going on? :) PS MyClass has INotifyPropertyChanged implemented

• SQL DataReader how to show null-values from query

  I have a DataReader and a StringBuilder (C#.NET) used in the following way; while (reader.Read()) { sb.AppendFormat("{0},{1},{2},",reader["Col1"], reader["Col2"], reader["Col3"]); } Which works great for my use, but when a row is null I need it to return "null", instead of just "". What would be a good way of accomplishing that? Suggestions are very appreciated

• Accessing Element Count and Values Within a Hidden Div

  I'm having trouble grabbing the TR count in JQuery of a table that inside a DIV set to be hidden. Here is an example: <div id="questions" style="display: none;"> <table id="tbl_questions"> <thead> <tr> <th>Question</th> <th>Weight</th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> <tr id="q0"> <td id="td_question0">Some Question 0</td> <td id="td_wieght0">Some Weight 0</td> </tr> <tr id="q1"> <td id="td_question1">Some Question 1</td> <td id="td_wieght1">Some Weight 1</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> </div> Note the table is within the containing div. It's set to display: none. When I try to run this JQuery code it returns 0. var question_count = $("#tbl_questions> tr").size(); alert(question_count); Any ideas? I'm try to locate the count so I can then build an array of each question and weight in the table. Since the ID's provide me with an index this should be simple, but is the fact that it is contained in a hidden DIV going to be a problem just as the above question? Thanks, Tegan Snyder

  Hello, I recently designed a referral game website for the fun of it. There's a simple MySQL user system with a email verification. It's using the UserCake user management system. On top of this i added a php page that the user could give to "victims" that when they visit it they get "infected" and can infect other users or "victims". This page uses GET to get the username from the url. I have a folder that when a user registers it creates a file with 4 digits and then the username. (ex; 0000Username.txt) All the numbers are the same, it's just so that if a user discovers the folder they won't be able to find the files. There is also a txt file in the same format with IPS in the name. (ex; 0000IPSUsername.txt) The file when visited gets the username from the url, then checks if the text file for that username exists. If the username is present in the url, and a valid user it opens the IPS file and adds the IP of the visitor, then opens the user text file, takes the value and adds one to it, and saves. At the end it makes the difference between saying "You are infected, Username has infected (amount) people." or just you have been infected. Now to what i need! I need to add a hi-scores to the website so people can compete to be the one with the most "infections". I thought i could use readdir to get a list of the files and open them with the value in an array, but i need it to also strip the username from the file name. It would be best if it just saves to a text file like "Username | value" because then i can add echo's of the html tags and have it include the file in the page i want it to be one.   My problem is since an enum in objective-c essentially is an int value, I am not able to store it in a NSMutableArray. Apparently NSMutableArray won't take any c-date types like an int.   So my script works perfectly, but here is the issue, I have buttons (Sprite action here) that are 40px height, but the top 20 only shows perfectly. When you click the button ie img the bottom 20px show perfecto! but... I don't have control over the JSON generation in this instance and would like the solution to work with the Silverlight subset of .NET. It would be great if the solution could perform the reverse for serialization as well.
