• where are the log files saved in axis2 webservice

  I'm currently working on a gwt app, where the server uses a few third party libs. recently I discovered that one of these libs isn't being properly loaded when running my app in deployed mode, and I just can't seem to figure out what out is I'm doing wrong. In my build script I have the following classpath declaration: <path id="project.class.path"> <pathelement location="${war.dir}/WEB-INF/classes"/> <fileset dir="${war.dir}/WEB-INF/lib" includes="**/*.jar"/> </path> and in a later target I copy the jar I need to the right location: <copy todir="${war.dir}/WEB-INF/lib" file="someJar.jar" /> The project builds as it should, without any errors. The jars are copied to where the should be, and are included in the resulting war file. In development mode everything is working as it should, everything gets loaded properly and I hear no complaints.   I'm writing an application server that will receive SIP and DNS messages from the network. When I receive a message from the network, I understand from the documentation that at first, I get a ChannelBuffer. I would like to determine which kind of message has been received (SIP or DNS) and to decode it. To determine the message type, I can dedicate port to each type of message, but I would be interested to know if there exist another solution for that. My question is more about how to decode the ChannelBuffer. Is there a ChannelHandler provided by Netty to decode SIP or DNS messages? If not, what would be the right place in the type hierarchy to write my custom ChannelHandler? To illustrate my question, let's take as example the HttpRequestDecoder, the hierarchy is: java.lang.Object org.jboss.netty.channel.SimpleChannelUpstreamHandler org.jboss.netty.handler.codec.frame.FrameDecoder org.jboss.netty.handler.codec.replay.ReplayingDecoder<HttpMessageDecoder.State> org.jboss.netty.handler.codec.http.HttpMessageDecoder org.jboss.netty.handler.codec.http.HttpRequestDecoder Also, do I need to use two different ChannelHandler for decoding and encoding, or is there a possibility to use a single ChannelHandler for both?   Hello All, I am working with some legacy code, and at some point there is a key in the session that is something like session.setAttribute("com.org.something.Object",someObject); Now trying to access this in a jsp using jstl is a bit difficult becuase if I tried it like I normally would I would do: ${sessionScope.com.org.something.Object.someFieldGetter} As most of us can imagine it will fail because there is no com object in session scope. I also tried ${sessionScope.'com.org.something.Object'.someFieldGetter} And a parsing error was thrown. Does anyone know how to resolve this so that I can correctly get the object similar to session.getAttribute("com.org.something.Object") but through jstl? thank you.

  I have a project that is build up from several OSGi bundles. One of them is a generic Database bundle that defines a DataSource that can be used throughout the project. The spring bean definition of this service is: <osgi:service interface="javax.sql.DataSource"> <bean class="org.postgresql.ds.PGPoolingDataSource"> <property name="databaseName" value="xxx" /> <property name="serverName" value="xxx" /> <property name="user" value="xxx" /> <property name="password" value="xxx" /> </bean> </osgi:service> Now, when using this DataSource is a different bundle, we get an error: No suitable driver found for jdbc:postgresql://localhost/xxx I have tried the following to add the org.postgresql.Driver to the DriverManager: Instantiated an empty bean for that Driver in the spring context, like this: <bean class="org.postgresql.Driver" /> Instantiated the Driver statically in one of the classes, like this: Class.forName("org.postgresql.Driver"); Added a file META-INF\services\java.sql.Driver with the content org.postgresql.Driver None of these solutions seems to help.

• Making pygtksourceview work in windows

  So, I'm trying to get gtksourceview python bindings work under windows (I'm developing a cross platform gtk application that shows code, so gtksourceview seemed like a natural choice). I have pygtk installed and working (I followed the instructions in http://www.pygtk.org/downloads.html) I tried the instructions in http://projects.gnome.org/gtksourceview/ for gtksourceview. Here is what I did: Downloaded and extracted the latest gtksourceview window binaries from: http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/binaries/win32/gtksourceview/2.10/gtksourceview-2.10.0.zip The website said gtksourceview needs libxml, so I downloaded and extracted the latest libxml window binaries from: http://xmlsoft.org/sources/win32/libxml2-2.7.6.win32.zip Added the folders containing dll files to the PATH (in my computer they were c:\opt\gtksourceview\bin; C:\opt\libxml2-2.7.6.win32\bin) Installed pygtksourceview with the windows installer: http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/binaries/win32/pygtksourceview/2.10/pygtksourceview-2.10.0.win32-py2.6.exe Renamed the file libxml2.dll to libxml2-2.dll (after running depends on the gtksourceview dll) Now, the gtksouceview widget seems to work, until I'm trying to set the code's language. When I do that python crashes.   Why is the Log4j rootLogger in my application not filtering log events according to level? In my log4j.properties, I have several loggers: log4j.rootLogger=info,stdout log4j.logger.com.name.myapp=debug,myapp log4j.logger.org.castor=debug,castor log4j.logger.org.exolab.castor=debug,castor log4j.logger.org.hibernate=debug,hibernate log4j.logger.org.springframework=debug,spring Each of the loggers receive and record numerous log events at levels DEBUG and above, which is what I expect. The rootLogger, however, despite being set to level INFO, is displaying all of these events, too, including the DEBUG events, which is not what I expect. Instead, I would expect it to filter the DEBUG events, but display only the events at level INFO and higher (WARN, ERROR, and FATAL). Why is rootLogger displaying all of the events?

  When the page loads, all the records show. Sorting works great until show-hide is used to filter the rows so only some show. Then the header row--with the arrows for sorting--DISAPPEARS. The problem is only in Firefox. It works great in IE7 and IE8. I'm using jQuery 1.4.2 from google. I can't get it to work for ... = any kind of Arithmetic expression, although it works for ...= loop or if expression, or even just a number. As soon as I do something like '-5' or '4-5' it says Couldn't resolve reference to JvmIdentifiableElement '-', even though the Xbase.xtext Grammar looks like it allows these expressions. I don't think I'm missing any Jars, as it doesn't complain when I run the mwe workflow, but only when trying to parse the input file. Any help would be much appreciated.

  What I'm trying to do is to update my database after a period of time. So I'm using java scheduler and connection pooling. I don't know why but my code only working once. • Websphere CE issue in Eclipse EE

  I have downloaded the Websphere 2.1 App Server and verified that it works fine. I now wanted to use eclipse EE to manage it by adding the server to the server tab.   As per http://help.eclipse.org/helios/topic/org.eclipse.jst.ws.cxf.doc.user/reference/preferences.html The CXF 2.x preferences can be accessed via Window > Preferences... > Web Services > CXF 2.x Preferences from the top level menu. but I dont see the option CXF 2.x Preferences under Web Services, though I have chosen JavaEE perspective. any ideas how to enable this? Sorry for such a simple question. I also cannot do not see CXF as a Project Facet as per http://help.eclipse.org/helios/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse.jst.ws.jaxws.doc.user/gettingstarted/requirements.html I know this is something to do with getting Eclipse aware of CXF libraries, but cant find the tutorial for this.
